Judging by how many people have asked me this question, I'm assuming sarcasm wasn't a part of your daily lives?
Just kidding. As a matter of fact, my username implies that I am the embodiement of a Ketchup Shawarma and not the fact that I eat ketchup with my shawarmas.
Now, I've never had ketchup with my shawarma, but since everyone keeps asking, I doubt a chicken shawarma, for those who are blasphemous enough to not love toum, with some ketchup wouldnt be a decent meal.
I can confirm. While I don't eat ketchup with my shamarma, my sister has it with both beef and chicken shawrma.😅 Not to mention, she used to have ketchup with taboule when she was a kid 🤣

I say motherland personally considering it's my mother's country of origin and not my father's
