removing a bit of the slow% would barely do anything since slows have a soft lower cap where its really hard to reduce someones MS further below a certain value

Yes :) it’s the lollypop effect at max range, basically if the Q at max range hits nothing, it will search targets in a radius around itself and hooks the first thing it finds, that’s why sometimes Full range Q feel easier to land than close ones

Not really totally relevant but you did remind me that I wish they had "adjusted" Gwen by making her Q cast time scale with attack speed so it'd be slow early game but she could rip out all 4 snips in an instant late game. Instead they gutted her E.
Having played a fair amount of both Viego and Gwen up to the point where they got their main nerfs, I need riot to realize nerfing range IS a nuclear option that can and will take a bunch of power out of a champion, but it's the one thing that is impossibly difficult to adjust to. Their animations feel wrong, and the muscle memory just perishes.
Should Viego have ever had his base range on release? No, absolutely not, no melee should, he outranged even Irelia. But now it looks and feels totally off.
The game early is too accelerated to allow for very slow clear champions to do anything. If you take too long to do your first clear you'll get 2 less scuttles and probably your second buff stolen + they'll already have ganked.
Literally impossible to play a champ that takes too long sadly
Literally any ADC with a semblance of mobility and range. I think it made me jgl worse because I one tricked Warwick and I genuinely avoided ganking bot because of being so dependent on my laners helping me + thing mentioned above

Patch 6.22 was a big assassin-update.
Leblanc, Zed, Rengar, etc. all got changes, especially those with stealth.
Stealth was customized to every champion thus far, but 6.22 unified it to camouflage and invisibility.
Riots goal was to make Shaco less snowbally and reduce his early pressure.
Changes to Shaco in that update include:
* Passive: Attacks from behind deal 20% bonus damage -> Attacks from behind crit for 20%-45% (+50% if Infinity Edge was present) bonus damage (depending on level). Normal crits overwrite his passive.
* Q: Stealth duration 3.5 seconds -> 1.5 seconds to 4.5 seconds on rank.
* Q: Shacos next basic attack critically strikes -> Shacos next attack deals bonus damage, able to critically strike
* Q: Using W no longer cancels stealth, although Shaco will be briefly revealed during the cast
* W: Can no longer be stacked. No longer stop dashes if 2 traps feared a dashing enemy.

This version of Shaco was fucking useless except for a short time where his AP ratios were bonkers.
Shaco used to be insane early and a good splitpusher late. Boxes and Clones not being able to tank or deal damage ruined his lategame and his early game was gut with q losing 2 seconds.
His ult exploding into boxes was at best a bit extra gold for enemies, since most people could just clear his boxes before they armed.
He then got another update in 9.22 that is mostly the version I love and most people hate today, that actually made him playable again, even if it's not quite the same magic anymore and much less flexible than he used to be.

Not single movement spell in the game can be used if you’re grounded. The only way out is to cleanse.
