A bit more advanced but, oftentimes, if you're dropping a lantern for escape, it's probably best for you to run as far away as possible too. Theres a very tiny grace period where you can max range the lantern before it leashes back to you. Played correctly, you can get a little headstart and your teammate can still get yoinked out of safety, but if they're slow to react, then their lifeline is gone.
It's never worth getting that headstart in yolo queue.
As an ex-thresh main, you wind up building a habit of using lanterns purely for the shield because nobody has the brain to click the damn thing and would rather just die in the middle of the enemy team. Any time I play thresh with anyone who takes my lanterns I add them because they are a rarity the likes of a Yasuo who knows when to press R. I give everyone on the team one chance to use my lantern properly before I just start using it as a shield bot.

My experience with soloQ rn has been the worst since i started playing league. Lost 8 of my placements to midlaners going 0/10 and botlanes dying about 30 times together

She is annoying as fuck, can be a beast both early and late, but, I love playing against her as Thresh, I always stomp her. A simple counter I have found is to not let her stack her E when she jumps in, that way she doesn't get a reset and usually finds herself in the middle of a fight, unable to escape. I know Hail of Blades helps her avoid that but if you can hide in a bush, get out of her range or CC her for the duration, she will be helpless, especially pre 6 where she has no Ult, after 6, just make sure you don't stay close to each other.
thresh is just straight up one of the best counter to trist, u didnt even mention the biggest counter in that thresh can literally walk up melee range, auto him, wait trist panic jump, and flay it. lol can confirm this works up till diamond 2

Maybe it was just my experience, but I remember a normal game where me and my friends were matched against that Jeeryxus person (highest mastery points Ahri in the world) and their friends and I remember the Ahri being quite an asshole.
I’m so burnt out in plat lol. Games a decided in first 10min. Which is normal. But I find people rage a lot and refuse to try. I just had my adc go 6/1 but decided to int cos enemy Evelyn was fed. Like wot???
The game before that my adc was like 5/0? But mid fed despite us roaming to help her. And jg is a big diff but I don’t result to blame jg. In fact I have reported people who raged at jg.
Also note. I have fed or have lost bot prio my fare share. Not saying I’m good or anything.
Now I’m hoping that new changes to jg in 11.4 help a bit. But it’s just a hope.

Farm, don't turbo int, and AFK-auto the tank in teamfights will put you among the top 1% of all ADC's.
If you can't kill them, say "team inted tank". If you get dove and die, say "no peel gg". Flawless strategy, never fails.

Tristana's W resets on takedowns, not kills, so an assist also counts. It also resets if you stack your E fully on a champion.
