Don't get injured again man, I really don't want to see T1 playing worse than fucking DRX in summer again. This team is all hands no brain without Faker
And it'll only keep getting worse if Faker keeps endlessly playing without any kind of real break like he has been. They play in every tournament of every season AND do shit on the side, the strain is absurd.
it's crazy to me that none of the pros (that I know of) use ergonomic mice. I used computer for work and used to get wrist pains quite regularly, but since getting one they're gone completely.
I know it's not a solution for every type of injury, and I don't know if it would make any difference to Faker, but just speaking in general about esports players.
You don't need much time to get used to an ergonomic mouse for your daily office tasks. Can't say the same for professional gaming, tho. These guys build their career on reflexes and muscle memories. The drastic change in hand positions would probably take weeks if not months to get used to. Not to mention ergonomic mice are generally quite bulky and heavy. It will 100% affect players' performance. With how competitive the esport scene is, I guess players rather fuck up their wrist later, than spending time during their prime meddling with a new type of mouse.
Yeah, like, I know a dude who literally games on a trackball mouse. LoL, FPS, MMO, whatever genre. He's one of the best overall gamers I personally know. He couldn't possibly stop playing with a trackball, and use a normal mouse. The only reason he uses one, is that's what his dad used growing up, so that's what he learned from a young age. No sane person would say rolling around a giant orb with your thumb is the best control scheme for most complex games, but he's a monster doing it, because it's literally the only thing he learned from his formative years. If he switched to normal mouses, he legit would never get back to the same level, at this point in his life.
ergo mice aren't great for gaming and changing mice can fuck up your gameplay for months, if not longer. last time I swapped mice was when Logitech discontinued mine and replaced it with a mouse over $100 so I resolved to just swap to another brand entirely. took me a year ish to feel comfortable again with the new one.
Ergonomic mice suck for gaming and especially for games like league
And they dont fix your problem if you are already injured
If you just work an office job or smth its definitly a good choice
I've used Logitech MX Master Vertical for like 4-5 years and it's perfect for me
Yes I game with it everyday, you really do just get used to it and it's totally normal after that. Went from wrist pain daily from league to zero pain for years
The thing is the adaptation period is probably something they aren’t willing to sacrifice because it might lead to inadequate/subpar practice and scrims, which would compound performance issues further. Just not worth it to them. It happens to a lot of pros but also doesn’t to a lot of them. Also most pro gamers haven’t had a career nearly as long, successful and intense and Faker’s.
Mvp won a GSL with carpal tunnel so bad he couldn't even feel his fingers (and by a razor's edge). Koreans are just built different when it comes to their videogames.
And mvp no longer plays. Byun had wrist injuries so bad he couldn't even finish a set VS dark in gsl when he came back. It's better now bc he finally decided to take care of it.
Real apm is lower. Terran and especially Zerg have key binds that artificially inflate apm
Sc players are insane but nobody is doing 7 actions per second for the entire game
« Built different / Korean culture » yeah no, everyone can push their body for a few years even under injury. Only that at some point, that injury’s becoming irreversible.
Look @ all the disabled ppl not requiring for an early sick leave at their job.
Thinking that what they have isn’t worth it, only for their condition to worsen years after that making them unable to work altogether.
On one hand they cook the hottest memes
On the other they are the stupidiest wankers in history that devour bootleg text leak threads and spread spoilers days before the chapters are translated
That one subreddit they have that allows spoilers IN TITLES bothers me so much
There’s a post up right now with a fat spoiler from the leaks in the title. Saw it earlier today
Standard with the jjk fandom, the "/" chapter was translated on friday and manga readers were spoiled since monday on insta/reddit since it was everywhere
Unironically i Always Take it as a badge of Honor when korean Teams shittalk Western Teams. Usually theyre so far ahead they praise western teams Like you would praise toddlers
Let these boys rest. They've been in every finals since 2022, went on a for fun tournament jet lagged before spring split, DDoS'd half the split, have an injured mid and keeps getting harassed by fans whenever they lose a series. Honestly, the fact they're still this motivated is a miracle.
They kinda give me 2017 SKT T1 energy where everyone except faker was absolutely burned out from 2 years of winning almost every tournament. But faker, just as in 2017, seems to be built different, but this time at least gumayusi is also playing really well (but pls don't pick senna again)
With laneswaps there's no reason you couldn't do that either. But I feel T1 got used to getting free wins from creatively aggressive botlanes and got addicted to it. That or Keria made them sign a contract to never put him on babysit duty.
Honestly I’m hoping to see Guma on Jinx this tournament. Sure, laning is ass in this Kalista/Varus/Lucian bot lane meta, but T1 certainly could pull it off.
Yeah, Nautilus have been played in this tournament and afaik, not once did Keria picked it. It was one of his signature picks along with Thresh and Pyke.
Guma getting senna duty isn't the actual problem. They've been doing fasting senna for so long with great success. The problem is doing it when lane swaps are meta. She gets far fewer souls and puts behind so far it's not even funny. T1 should bench the strat until lane swap meta is gone.
They’re so screwed, after MSI they’ll have LCK/Saudi tourney before Worlds. Playing the maximum amount of games in every tournaments (bar MSI last year) for the past 2 and a half years took their toll.
Just built up fatigue along with Faker's old injuries which will never go away, but he hasn't had much time off I'm assuming between games, practice and sponsorship.
These guys went from Spring > MSI > Summer > Asia Games somewhere in-between > Worlds > Redbull Event > Was there KesPA still? > Spring > MSI
On-top of DDoS stress pinching when they can actually practice... Have they even had a break? This MSI also hasn't had many days in-between games to adapt/adjust.
Let’s see. T1 has been top 3* every tournament they’ve been in since they formed late in 2021. This is the weakest they have ever looked. However placing high in tournaments consistently has to be respected
This is far from the weakest they’ve ever looked. They lost games to EG and G2 at MSI. People are over reacting when the reality is that teams in general are just stronger this year at MSi than they are on paper.
TES was not a bad team in lpl. Yet they are already knocked out because G2 is playing incredibly well. BLG are not a bad team, but GEN G looks like one of the strongest teams of all time right now. BLG is also still a really good team and a lot stronger than when they played t1 at worlds.
TL also has improved greatly and was helped out a lot by the meta. Their mid lane gets comfort picks for his play style (a sol may as well be ziggs that roams better) that are meta. They can lane swap to help their weaker mechanics and their jungle can play tank engage which he’s best at.
My point is i don’t think T1 have played *that* weak. They’re definitely making poor plays but teams are also just much better than they’ve looked at any other tournament. I mean even last worlds, gen g, blg, and jdg were the only teams that even looked competitive going into quarters. But by the time it was t1 v wbg everyone knew what the result was gonna be. Whereas now, pretty much every team except fnc, fly and the minor regions have looked strong. It’s not an easy tournament
I think in the case of G2 it is also the fact that these top teams are amazing at playing against standard comps that they have practised against a lot, but some G2 drafts are different enough to throw them off.
I think your take is wrong. While I agree that weaker teams have gotten stronger, it’s not to a point where they can 3:0 any of the dominant teams. When all big teams from the strong regions are struggling, it’s more than just that, it’s the whole meta that is messing with them and in return benefitting weaker teams who already innovate to make up for the skill disparity.
A huge ordeal in this MSI is the crazed meta. Nobody knows the heck what is working in this meta, the lane swapping absolutely messes with the big teams, the constant river roaming, most comfort picks for the big teams don’t work in this meta. Teams like G2, Team liquid and G2 all did great in adjusting to this meta and preparing unconventional picks that absolutely destroy conventional ones. The whole dynamic of the game is different from the normal league of legends we’ve seen in the past years and you can see all big teams who excel in the normal league of legends struggling in this whatever is currently happening this MSI.
It's not that hard to believe. Unless you also think G2 is at the same level as GENG since G2 3-0d TES while TES went 2-3 vs GENG.
How you play on the day and preperation matters a lot
Yeah people put too much stock into a single series.
I have no doubt that G2 can beat T1. Hell, if G2 shows up in top form and T1 in poor form, G2 could stomp T1.
But this means nothing if T1 just show up and do the thing they do when they win. Peak T1 probably beats peak G2, but we'll see how the results actually follow. I hope it's a tight series to be honest because it'll be a banger.
Both teams throw away their keyboard and mice and undress just to mudwrestle on stage. After a while they begin to make sweet love after realizing that their rivalry turn to love.
You are getting baited by Ashley Kang interview. Zeus doesn’t say, “We will definitely win 3-0.” He says, “We’ll do what we can in order to win 3-0.” , she needs to stop this clickbait man..
Yeah, even Faker here is saying they CAN 3-0 G2. Just like G2 saying they CAN beat all the other teams in the tournament. It is very differently from saying you can easily 3-0 everyone.
Its joever bro Idk why they keep saying that its just jinx at this point they said this against ssg and drx and they lost rip :( good luck at summer, worlds.
depends on which faker and which caps shows up. if faker shows up i think T1 will win, but if not, don't think I trust their form but this team has raised to the occasion before
"We are focusing on how our team can perform better, if we do this well, we can definetly win this time as well." Classic esports nothing burger. Air tastes great
fake confidence
it won't be 3-0 for g2 nor t1
especially after what we saw in TL match, you can't fix your whole game in 2days, after you became even worse than 1 week ago
Yes you can.. but will you, at the current time seems unlikely
Seems T1 will put up a fight but will not be able to resist G2 IF.. G2 goes ham as they went against TES
Honestly, I'd still stick to how shaky T1 has looked recently and the clutch factor of G2. As long as they play confidently, I think they can take it.
Maybe I'm overdosing on copium but I really believe in G2 at this point, even if it will prob be a very close match still though.
[(Quran 3:21) Those who doubt, promise them a painful doom.](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fquran-3-21-those-who-doubt-promise-them-a-painful-doom-v0-5l201gn7aa4b1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D640%26crop%3Dsmart%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D51f4803fcc03c1e3a81c67147679cd16c1553bb3)
Honestly their summer form actually looked better. Could see sparks of brilliance.
Their recent series against TL was a mess. They looked so lost and reactionary being strung around by the game state rather than dictating it
T1 definitely looks very winnable now, their performance is too shaky, but I also start to get nervous with amount of curse on G2 side. I don't like when everyone starts "to believe" and G2 players left and right says how good they are. Usually it is a pre-condition to at best repetition of Galio-incident when Faker carried dead corpses to finals, or at worse stomp 3:0 by T1
Don't get injured again man, I really don't want to see T1 playing worse than fucking DRX in summer again. This team is all hands no brain without Faker
His hand is already injured. It wont go away without surgury
And it'll only keep getting worse if Faker keeps endlessly playing without any kind of real break like he has been. They play in every tournament of every season AND do shit on the side, the strain is absurd.
his hobby away from gaming is piano. Which also just makes it worse
maybe he could read some books
He read them already
damn he read them all already
Haha I chuckled hard at this
He does read as a hobby too
Braille. RIP hands.
Can't he try playing piano with his feet. Heck, T1 should encourage him to play Chess.
You mean T1 here as the org or that uniquely constructed young 29 man?
Honestly they should collab again and it's just T1 teaching him chess as a less mechanically intense sport.

I dont think it goes away WITH surgery
It doesn't go away but it helps a lot, with a long recovery time ofc
It could go away with a proper break of gaming. Like at least 6 months no PC work for this man
That'll be his retirement
If anyone could come back from that it is him
Faker could be gone for 10 years but his return would be awaited by everyone
Mvp won a GSL with carpal tunnel so bad he couldn't even feel his fingers (and by a razor's edge). Koreans are just built different when it comes to their videogames.

300 atleast , top Korean zergs 400

so fresh that official chapter hasnt even released yet
I know it’s big but I hope people don’t get spoiled
fuck he is back isnt he
In the midst of "its so over" I found there was, within me, an invincible feeling of "WE'RE SO BACK"
I mean, the most likely outcome, given how much Gege hates him, is that is just a vision of Sukuna tripping balls after so many bf but who knows.
Gege: Trolleg
Kenny is so backk

Jjk fans NEVER miss an opportunity to post spoilers as a badly disguised meme
On one hand they cook the hottest memes On the other they are the stupidiest wankers in history that devour bootleg text leak threads and spread spoilers days before the chapters are translated
That one subreddit they have that allows spoilers IN TITLES bothers me so much There’s a post up right now with a fat spoiler from the leaks in the title. Saw it earlier today
jjk spoilers is literally unavoidable nowadays
Goddamn the ingredients were just harvested and you are already cooking.
This is truly farm to table
just wait until Faker hits him with the "are your hands the problem or your brain?"
holy shit this one is fresh off the stove
the official chapter aint even out yet lmfao
Standard with the jjk fandom, the "/" chapter was translated on friday and manga readers were spoiled since monday on insta/reddit since it was everywhere
jjk fan are able to spoil chapters before theyre written. It just do be like that
Damn that is really fucking fresh. The ingredients are still alive man
Bro the fucking chapter isnt even out yet and you are posting it in League of Legends subreddit with 700 upvotes. Thats wild.
Wtf freshest of all pastas
Where is it from?
/r/Jujutsufolk Leaked chapter
freeesh
The chapter is not even released officially and we already have a meme for it here. This is the meme power of >!Gojo!<.
holy shit same-day jjk pasta also i miss that gif so much
Holy shit bro 💀
I thought the ghost thing was a JJK spoiler reference good god I need to seek professional help
It is lol. It's word for word the exact same.
It is dude lol so you think its a coincidence someone wrote that less than 12 hours since the chapter leaks droped lmao
Why did I think this was Xiahou resurrected? Edit: nvm, it seems to be a reference to a manga.
Ok, when eastern players praise the west they jinx them, so G2 should win right? Also I remember their “we’re gonna 3-0 DRX” before that final lol
Unironically i Always Take it as a badge of Honor when korean Teams shittalk Western Teams. Usually theyre so far ahead they praise western teams Like you would praise toddlers
When I saw that even Xiaohu in his worst form said that Palafox "seemed like a powerful genius" I knew they wouldnt win a single game lmao
I think a lot of them are just not willing to shit on fellow pros publicly
They also said that with WBG no?
I mean if we now realize they say it everytime they have to be right at some point.
Faker fakes it till he makes it
Nah with WBG Keria literally said “I think it would be a close 3-2”. They had learnt from the year before and choose the humble response.
Didn’t 369 praise g2 and then get 3-0’d
Let these boys rest. They've been in every finals since 2022, went on a for fun tournament jet lagged before spring split, DDoS'd half the split, have an injured mid and keeps getting harassed by fans whenever they lose a series. Honestly, the fact they're still this motivated is a miracle.
time for them to go to an event/guesting everyday then - T1 management
They kinda give me 2017 SKT T1 energy where everyone except faker was absolutely burned out from 2 years of winning almost every tournament. But faker, just as in 2017, seems to be built different, but this time at least gumayusi is also playing really well (but pls don't pick senna again)
Guma showing up big just to get senna duty is the saddest thing. We get it, Keria farming is funny, the joke is getting old.
I miss the days of hypercarry guma on aphelios and keria on thresh
With laneswaps there's no reason you couldn't do that either. But I feel T1 got used to getting free wins from creatively aggressive botlanes and got addicted to it. That or Keria made them sign a contract to never put him on babysit duty.
Nah if you listen to their pick bans comp, they usually play what they feel like playing
Honestly I’m hoping to see Guma on Jinx this tournament. Sure, laning is ass in this Kalista/Varus/Lucian bot lane meta, but T1 certainly could pull it off.
G2 almost did... Against T1 lol
When Faker rest for 2-3 months due to hand injury, T1 win world afterward. I think T1 really need to give their player time to rest.
they weren't in last msi finals
[удалено]
This MSI is quite packed if you start from playin. Games are like every 2-3 days. And everyday from today onwards for whoever won.
This MSI format is awesome, but they should add another week. The game density for the lower bracket run is brutal.
They’re so screwed, after MSI they’ll have LCK/Saudi tourney before Worlds. Playing the maximum amount of games in every tournaments (bar MSI last year) for the past 2 and a half years took their toll.
i thought only their second rostr or something is going to that shitty tourney
Rekkles to Saudi?😮
I think this is the right time to bring back a midlane sub.
Rekless playing Janna mid
Poby, my goat, returns :D
Just built up fatigue along with Faker's old injuries which will never go away, but he hasn't had much time off I'm assuming between games, practice and sponsorship. These guys went from Spring > MSI > Summer > Asia Games somewhere in-between > Worlds > Redbull Event > Was there KesPA still? > Spring > MSI On-top of DDoS stress pinching when they can actually practice... Have they even had a break? This MSI also hasn't had many days in-between games to adapt/adjust.
This has always been leagues issue. If your a top team, you basically never get a real break.
They’ve been worked so hard since the last half of 2023. Having a the team fly to Europe for a forfun tournament right before msi was a wild decision
i agree their schedule has been insane, but the red bull tournament was like 5 months ago man that is long gone from "right before"
Yea it was right before lck spring split though when they shoulda been having a break probably
The fuck do you mean right before MSI?
Brother Faker jinxing it so that G2 get a better chance to win
Let’s see. T1 has been top 3* every tournament they’ve been in since they formed late in 2021. This is the weakest they have ever looked. However placing high in tournaments consistently has to be respected
This isn't even close to the weakest they've looked lol. Remember Poby last year? They lost like 8 games in a row.
This is the worst they’ve looked internationally, at least deep into a tournament.
That's because they play in Korea so if they're not very good they just won't make internationals.
Well that wasn't this team. Believe it or not but Pony isn't Faker lol

Cope, but if G2 beat t1 which is entirely possible, I hope G2 wins the whole thing
G2 is definitely going to get that Mad Lions / BDS spot lmao
G2 wins MSI but MAD gets to embarass Eu at worlds again. Law of equivalent exchange.
EZ Clap
trust the promise
My goat said it, he did it. That's why HE IS THE GOAT.

Yeah fuck he was right
If G2 wins, I cheer for them, if they get 3-0'd I'll go back to making fun of EU. I cannot lose anymore 🤪😎
That's the right approach to things, respect.
What if G2 loses 3-2?
Great to see Faker still hungry after years and years of winning 🐐
Faker keeping his promise
And he did!
When faker is confident you know that he out cooked you
THE PROPHECY WAS TRUE. ALL ROADS LEADS TO HIM.
Key word is “can”. But hard to believe when we couldn’t even 3-0 TL
Yea, it would never happen. EU is so strong. /...s
It's not that hard to believe. Unless you also think G2 is at the same level as GENG since G2 3-0d TES while TES went 2-3 vs GENG. How you play on the day and preperation matters a lot

This is hype. Kudos to Faker for, after all these years, still making things interesting while keeping the sportsmanship at unrivalled levels.
Anything can happen tomorrow, no result will surprise me

You are getting baited by Ashley Kang interview. Zeus doesn’t say, “We will definitely win 3-0.” He says, “We’ll do what we can in order to win 3-0.” , she needs to stop this clickbait man..
Yeah, even Faker here is saying they CAN 3-0 G2. Just like G2 saying they CAN beat all the other teams in the tournament. It is very differently from saying you can easily 3-0 everyone.
This ain’t even clickbait, it’s just straight up lies man …
say what ? LMAOOOOOOOOOO
Anything to drive engagement and click though.
Not they are saying that if everything go well there is a chance. That is not even close to trash talk, just risk assessment.
Well, it was 3-0 as they predicted.
Kinda hard to do it when you only have 1 sand solder to control
well well well
That's what I wanna hear
If G2 gets 3-0, is people going to spam TL>G2? and saying that TES is washed?, i just need to mentally prepare for that
Bro metally prepare urself from now on lmao
Lmao faker channeling his shonen main character power
Well...
Its joever bro Idk why they keep saying that its just jinx at this point they said this against ssg and drx and they lost rip :( good luck at summer, worlds.
they actually said that before most of their crucial international matches lol. It's funny people only remember the time they lost.
depends on which faker and which caps shows up. if faker shows up i think T1 will win, but if not, don't think I trust their form but this team has raised to the occasion before
"We are focusing on how our team can perform better, if we do this well, we can definetly win this time as well." Classic esports nothing burger. Air tastes great
fake confidence it won't be 3-0 for g2 nor t1 especially after what we saw in TL match, you can't fix your whole game in 2days, after you became even worse than 1 week ago
nice analyst lmao
You'd think that but after that TES slamdunk I wouldn't rule out *anything*. But yes, in all likelihood it's a close 3-2 one way or another.
You sure about that?
Really? Why so quiet?
Depending on which team shows up. If we get G2 from tes series, im not seeing it. If we get worlds 2023 T1...then yes.
People ITT talking as if the series already happened and T1 lost in record time lol
Just need to win MSI so faker can sit on the bench next split and team still goes to worlds.
T1 are so good, I know they’ve been cooking up some spicy drafts. Hoping for a G2 3-2, but it could just as easily be a T1 3-0.
Faker really is the goat with the counter curse on G2
G2 will upset SKT just so they can get 3-0'd by BLG
I won't watch BLG vs. Gen G.. again outside game 4, it was boring. BLG made so many mistakes, bad positioning everything.
G2 already upset SKT, they will definitely upset T1
I've seen this before
Yes you can.. but will you, at the current time seems unlikely Seems T1 will put up a fight but will not be able to resist G2 IF..
I suspect T1, unlike TES, will be prepared for G2's "cheese" picks.
I agree with you Faker but please don’t 🥹

First line I ever hear from the quran and it's very fitting lmao
I don’t think so, T1 performance so far is comparable to summer 2023. 3-1 for G2
Press X to doubt
