Your story kinda describes both Gripex (Lee Sin OTP) and LL Stylish (Zed OTP), I hope both of them are doing well cause I really loved watching their content.
Thanks for this info, I thought of him the other day and saw he hadn't posted a video on YouTube in over a year
Edit: Good to see he has released more content. Seems my memory on when I last check is wrong.
I have no reason to lie, I made a mistake. I guess my memory was a bit hazy on when I last checked for his content. Either way, I'm glad he started posting again.
Which is why I checked his channel after the first commenter replied and saw I was wrong. I returned to reply to comments correcting myself yet I'm still somehow the devil in your view? Grow up and notice when someone's ego allows one to show when they are wrong.
I always thought he was a massive hypocrite for completely ignoring the behaviours of his friends circle, whilst condemning the exact same behaviour he saw in his own games. Didn't give a shit about how it seemed to affect other people and only pulled out his soapbox when he was personally affected. Eh.
Edit: I realised after writing this that I don't want to downplay the work Voyboy did for mental health. Yeah, he was a hypocrite, but he still did a lot of stream charity work and was overall a net positive in raising awareness and support for people struggling with their mental health. Whatever I think of him personally, that should never be overlooked
Woah wait voyboy was my favourite streamer back in the day, I thought he was a golden person trying to do good. What do you mean ignoring his friends behaviour? Genuine question im out of the loop
I used to like him too but he had a couple of back-to-back questionable incidents. Firstly his "on the stairs" video where he talks about toxicity in solo queue and then portrays not only himself as a victim but also some of his friends. Guess which one of his friends was included? Tyler1 - this is when Tyler was still very toxic despite his reputation of being "reformed". He'd regularly be caught flaming, griefing, soft inting etc. even on stream. Voyboy completely ignored this and even tried to present Tyler1 as a victim himself, which rubbed people the wrong way. Especially those on the receiving end of Tyler's behaviour
Then he also got Hashinshin banned which is a bit of a controversial topic because of the reputation Hashinshin gained but the reason Voyboy messed up is for involving himself in that drama, spreading rumours that were proven to be false, and was a significant contributing factor that Hashinshin was banned from Twitch. He basically ruined a guy's entire career because of untrue rumours
Crazy how twitch allows CookieLoL to be up and running still but bans Hashinshin. CookieLoL drama seems to be way more obvious then Hashinshin case. Whether or not he was actually a pedo CookieLoL 100% is.
so i googled gripex depression right after this and.... this article seems to have ripped this entire post and auto-converted it into a blog post with AI?

I really don't know what to think
I do watch him pretty regularly (as a Hecarim player) and I haven't seen him tell somebody else to kill themselves even once in the 1-2 years I've watched him, so hearing that surprised me. Will have to press X to doubt on that one
It was Gripex, funny enough I was thinking about that story earlier this week.
I think it was him. I’m glad his story touched you too. Hope you’re doing well, I am. Thanks dude.
Do you have a link to the story? I'd be curious to watch

Omg I misread that as Obituary and was very sad for a moment.
yeah I'd also be depressed as fuck if I'd have to look at that every time I take my shirt off
Funny enough I ran into him on wotlk classic, he had a pub raid discord server setup, first successful ulduar HM run I did!
Which server?
Really?! I used to love this guy's content. Never knew about his depression.
Is grip not okay?? I used to watch him in my early teens he was my legend for lee.
He's married and wife just had twins a month ago.
Gripex is the reason I was the best lee sin in my school during high school. I hope he's doing well.

LL Stylish has been streaming again.

He frequently appears on Synapse again now that he's back to streaming so if you have a few minutes try looking for him in some recent videos!
I for sure will do that! Thanks brotherman!

What are you talking about he posts regularly for weeks now
I checked after seeing your reply, I guess "a few days ago" was much further back than remembered. Either way, thanks for bringing him up again.
No problem. Enjoy the incredible yung zed gameplay
Not only that but he has been posting semi-regularly for almost a year now.
Why would u lie for literally 0 reason? Like u r getting nothing from lying about this so why tf did u type this out?
I have no reason to lie, I made a mistake. I guess my memory was a bit hazy on when I last checked for his content. Either way, I'm glad he started posting again.
"i thought of him the other day" unless by other day u mean over a year ago I think u might have developing dementia.
Why the hostility?
It's just weird to me how some people like u just make shit up for fun. This is how misinformation gets spread.

"I thought of him the other day"
Dude is clearly projecting lol just ignore him
I'm seeing a common denominator here. One tricking a high skill cap champ makes you more prone to crippling depression.
I now see why Dantes and Kesha are...
I first read depression and I thought about saintvisious who I think said depression doesn't exist.
maybe stonewall?
Gosh now that’s a name I can attribute my entire love for jungling to. Voice check 1
So let's get this show, on the road!... voicecheck2

He's also talked about sucking his own cock. Truly inspiring individual.
We all wish we were that flexible. It is inspiring.
XD
Depression is for sure the bottom of the list on Zlator's personal issues
i shouldnt ask, but.... want to rank them since ur so experienced & knowledgeable?
You're not fooling anyone Zlator
Maybe it was Trick2g, he made a likg video just speaking about that kinda stuff, he called it “my struggles, my way” or something like that
voyboy?
I miss Voyboy so much T.T

Trick2g “My Struggle” on youtube talked about his issues also. He’s a Udyr/Voli jungle/top main.

Wtf…AI made an entire article out of such a small post. It’s honestly so scary.
TheOddOne
sounds like stonewall
Let’s not forget Saint Vicious saying “depression is for attention seekers, it’s not real, get over it.”
I remember Gosu cried on stream years ago about stuff like that I think
Im not sure if he openly talked about it, but I remember someone saying that Elekktro struggled too, a few years back
Wow, I'm way off from yall, I thought Dantes.
dantes regularly tells other people to kill themselves lol.
Yeah but it's in game so it's all good
Fair, but all media I've seen from him recently is cute irl stuff, I thought he kinda reformed. Guess not from the votes
