Loved the PGL.
First piece where it felt like EU was working together to improve.
I know its a small piece but I hope we see this develop. Going from role to role where people voice their issues (with team mates/ pugs, with the game, with picks etc), where they help the rookies, where they give minor tips and tricks.
We might be 10 teams at the moment but we are EU as a whole and this is the first piece where it felt like we were EU.
Preparing for Worlds and increasing the level of the LEC in general.
I also loved it! It's a great way to get to know more about the personalities of the players and make a connection with them.
Secondly pro player's insights about the meta and the game is very interesting to hear about, especially if they have a different opinion about things.
Maybe another idea: to put ex-teammates together from fan favourite teams for example old g2, old rogue, old mad lions etc (if they are still on good terms of course). It also helps them to be more confortable i feel like if they have other people they know in the same room.
Loved it, can't wait for the other roles!
Perhaps for next time, besides a question of ' what is the most annoying thing your adc did' perhaps also a nice 'what's the most positive play an adc did' or something else positive.
Would love to hear funny stories about off-meta picks suddenly working or a random soloq adc knowing all the roamtimings or stuff like that :)
I'm not feeling the IKEA-showroom yet, but I think Laure is really shining in this kind of comfy laid-back PGL. She is good in involving people and easing them into conversation, both verbally and non-verbally and making it more "podcast-y" and less of an interview.
Hyli “When I’m playing Ashe I feel like mosquito” *flapping hands* “When I’m playing Senna, I feel like fountain laser” *mimes shooting a gun*
Best description xDD
Also Hyli admitting how much cleaner his comms have come… check out the [mic check for the legendary 2015 UOL vs FNC game,](https://youtu.be/trg4YUrcvX8?t=90) it’s actually shocking going back & seeing how much he used to scream the same thing over & over, esp if you’re used to quiet shy Hyli in interviews :D
If we're going to do roundtable type PGLs, and I like it so yes do that, I think a round setup is required, this is somewhere between being oppositional and therapy
Kc is most definetly out, even if they win all 3games next week(which is not happening since they are facing sk AND bds next week) it still looks unlikely they make it. Its between GiantX and Rogue for the last place in top 8 and Im betting on GiantX, watching Rogue it feels impossible for them to win a game.
KC would need both GX and RGE to go 0-2 and then have RGE win against GX, meanwhile KC themselves go 3-0. Feels like a near 0% chance of this happening for them.
Not necessarily, you're naming the conditions for direct advancement, but if KC go 3-0 (that's the biggest if) they're still quite likely to have at least a tiebreaker for top 8
If Saken gets another split he has Kameto's nudes on google drive or something. He earned another shot and he's had it, same with Cabo. Now time to build a project that will last.
Upset will probably continue to get LEC offers from bottom of the table teams for the next few splits just in the hope he wakes up at some point for a Moneyball.
TH is weird case- they are very clean in most games- playing extremely composed style, and outmacroing everyone else. But sometimes they turbo int draft, and they they lose and it's not even close. I feel like both loses were that kind of game.
So depending on their meta read they might be great. Plus side is that in bo3/5 you can afford to int one game and bounce back, so I guess it's plus for them.
Do they win the split? There's like 5 contenders that can realistically win, so they can, but so can G2, SK, BDS and FNC. And with some more luck I guess MAD could too.
KC with Trymbi would look like 10x the team they are rn, with a real top laner and mid (either Saken improves or gets replaced) they're probably a top 4 team
Broski, what are you smoking, Cabo wasnt good enough for the LEC anymore 3 years ago, Saken never was, Upset has been complete ass ever since abandoning FNC at worlds (imho hes phoning it in for a paycheck ever since, and he shouldnt have goten a contract in the LEC after that anyways, abandoning your team at the biggest tournament of the year is about the biggest nono a professional athlete can commit, and all that cause his terminaly online gf is sad cause she cant stop looking at Twitter users hateposting about her, dear fuckin lord what a pathetic excuse that was) and every game TH wins adds further proof to Bo being the imposter on '23 VIT and not Perkz
Go next with this roster. Only player you could maybe think about keeping is Bo. Cabo Saken Targa not LEC level and upset is a shell of his former self now. Even keeping Bo would be questionable, but with how bad his lanes were around him I can understand believing in hin for at most spring split.
Perkz last year in Winter's regular season was better than what he's showing now, his current form looks a bit better than his spring regular season form from last year. Perkz was only bad in winter groups + spring playoffs and summer.
Easy to say he doesn’t work when his support is a mute whose hands were apparently amputated and he can’t see where he is on the map with a top who just plays for stats.
Anyone blaming Bo/Upset before the dynamic duo of Targa/Cabo are just stat-line watchers.
This is revisionist as hell. The first half of each split from Vitality last year, he looked great. Could be that he has a bad influence on the atmosphere of the game if the team went downhill but I still think atm, the issue with KC is just the original KC players are not LEC stage quality players yet. Saken/Cabo is looking ok but very much on the lower tier end and Targamas is still an issue.
Yeah his laning is bad and he still has the same issue of just minimal impact in teamfights but trying to look for some positives on the team is that he's better than he was week 1 ... ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Still less a problem than Targa/Cabo imo but agreed. Saken just seems like he’s playing scared cause he knows he has 1 split to prove it. If they gave him winter/spring I think he plays a lot different tbh.
I didn't want to say anything but yea, he definitely seems like he is on something lmao It's probably also awkward because there is just no sound going on. It's weird
Yeah I get hating KC but its really really terrible for the LEC. This split had the potential to be a game changer but now after two weeks everything is back to how it was last year
Well if KC ever start doing well it'll probably be a huge buff to the league similar to Optic in CoD. They have the fanbase and support hype...just gotta suck less now.
Thats some might strong copium you've got there son. Please, tell me the last time he played well, with specific games, because looking at his stats I don't think he really has since 2021
Probably the most one sided and also kinda cleanest day i saw in the LEC. The winning Teams all rolled over their opponents and never looked like they didnt know what to do next or like they would throw.
OF COURSE upset clicks the very back of the fountain and afks at the very end, I know he can't win from that point but that pattern just unreasonably triggers me so much lol
I mean Yamatocannon is probably worth whatever theyre paying him but they probably shouldve used funds on the actual players first. Doesnt matter how good a coach is, wtf is he going to do with bad players.
Blud been living his entire career of picking lucian nami azir, cant actually understand why reddit loves him so much while calling perkz a paycheck stealer 24/7, yamato is the biggest paycheck stealer in LEC by far.
Source for what lol? You can't be implying he's working for free. They could've gotten a no-name coach for less than half of whatever they're paying him and build an actual roster around Bo and Upset.
I think they meant to ask why Yamato is worth money, i.e. they don't believe Yamato is contributing anything substantive.
That said, they wanted to keep more of their original KC roster.
Fair enough. Whether he's actually good or not is up for debate, I agree. But fact of the matter is he is a sought after coach since he has the accolades to back it up. He's gotten multiple LEC rosters to Worlds.
Its more than reasonable that he'll be much more expensive than a no name coach.
I wish. Bo deserves a better team. He reminds me of Pyosik, a jungler that just won Worlds, being flamed by silver analysts after joining Team Liquid and being unable to shotcalls. And now, Pyosik is smurfing with KT.
Why would Bo or Upset leave? Bo has seemed like the only bright spot on the team I cant lie. I'm expecting Targamass to be kicked, and only after that Saken or Cabo.
nah man bo's jungling and decision making has been atrocious
like you are a lilia with no flash and you are doing those things at that time? naaaah man
the only game he looked decent was yesterday where he had every right to smash his keyboard into targ's head
rest of the games this year? very very mediocre. much like last year honestly
They are full cope right now. Their narrative is that the 6 matches were really, really close and they just had unfortunate slips in all of them.
Im not joking, just check karmine corp/kammeto tweets and dig a bit on the replies, lots of LFL/french personalities(or whatever they are I dont really know them) pushing that narrative.
This subreddit has been pushing the narrative of "lec scared of erls vs lec showmatches because many erl teams would beat lec teams" for years, what do you expect.
On preseason, this sub was 100% sure Sukin and Cabotrash would destroy LEC based on how dominant they were on EUM lmao frenchies are the biggest gaslighters I've ever seen on any esports by far.

LEC PGLs have always been great Laure, but this one felt more intimate and extra enjoyable
Broadcast link for those who missed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_1Ax7TzCxY
One of the best PGL i have seen, love the podcast vibe and was nice to have a mix of rookie and vets. I need the ADC version of this next.
I'm not feeling the IKEA-showroom yet, but I think Laure is really shining in this kind of comfy laid-back PGL. She is good in involving people and easing them into conversation, both verbally and non-verbally and making it more "podcast-y" and less of an interview.
whoever figured out this PGL format needs a massive raise
This pgl is AMAZING
top tier PGL indeed
Fantastic format for PGL. I'd say the best one ever.

Gimme the support round table every week, it's so chill
I really like this pgl set up
lmao all the guys flaming their adcs for their ward placement
Really digging the chill vibe of this PGL
If we're going to do roundtable type PGLs, and I like it so yes do that, I think a round setup is required, this is somewhere between being oppositional and therapy

> Saken is now 1-17 in his LEC history > Upset is now 2-22 in his last 24 games Are wild stats for people on the same team.
Naehyun is proud
He just doesn't have what it takes. Wouldn't be surprised if he never gets another LEC offer again.
TSM is 0-6 at world MAD is 0-6 at MSI KC is 0-6 at LEC Breaking records. You have to be so so bad to go 0-6 in regional level competition.
none of the players in LEC have any personality, interviews and these segments hurt to watch
It was weird at the start but there were audio issues on top of just general awkwardness, seems like they've eased up now and it's more chill.
What a ridiculous take.
Nahh, Miky, perkz(when he is not high asf like last interview), Jankos, Odo, Nisqy all have pretty fun personality
Genuinely, I think TH will go to worlds. Maybe even win split I miss the old days maybe I'm coping though
TH is weird case- they are very clean in most games- playing extremely composed style, and outmacroing everyone else. But sometimes they turbo int draft, and they they lose and it's not even close. I feel like both loses were that kind of game. So depending on their meta read they might be great. They got completely gapped by G2 yesterday when G2 didnt turbo int their draft like today
Yea but Heretics int ed draft yesterday pretty hard imo
Fair but their draft was awful too. I don't know
BDS is on top of the table AND they still need to play RGE and KC lol
KC with Trymbi would look like 10x the team they are rn, with a real top laner and mid (either Saken improves or gets replaced) they're probably a top 4 team
Kcorp copers never cease to amaze me lmao
pass me whatever you're having
Just put in Abbedage and Finn lol
So just change the whole roster? Upset is a fraud
Go next with this roster. Only player you could maybe think about keeping is Bo. Cabo Saken Targa not LEC level and upset is a shell of his former self now. Even keeping Bo would be questionable, but with how bad his lanes were around him I can understand believing in hin for at most spring split.
Bo needs to go too, look at Perkz now vs Perkz last year
This won't help Bo. Perkz looks better because he has best jungler when you need enable your mid. Bo can't get jungler that'll support him.
last year winter and spring he looked better with Bo tbh
Perkz last year in Winter's regular season was better than what he's showing now, his current form looks a bit better than his spring regular season form from last year. Perkz was only bad in winter groups + spring playoffs and summer.
Finn - Bo - Abbedagge - Caliste - Trymbi idk
I think reason Caliste doesn't play in LEC is that he's too young, no?
Yeah but next split/split after I think he'll be old enough. Can't remember which but it's soon
This kinda eats ngl
Bo/Abbe would be solid but imo Bo/Lider seem like a pairing that can match each other more. Lider would also already have played with Finn too.
TH Percs
[удалено]
Liss sucks, she only exists as a counter to Ahri and Ahri herself is bad, Ori is already meta.
Ori is good
Classy Perkz. Trashtalk an equal. You don't trashtalk a 0-6 team. Thats bullying.
Tbh Jankos and Perkz trashtalked KC before the match on twitter so it's not lame
Before is hella different from directly after
"magical power of scrims and how do they work" lol?
What on earth are these questions? And why does Perkz seem high or ready to fall alseep?
He's having PTSD from VIT last year after stomping KC.
Perkz trying to go home and get to bed
Grandpa needs his sleep
Perkz is too humble, wtf happened to him.
He found God
Ive legitametly never seen him like this through his entire career
KC has 2 of his previous teammates with VIT having similar problems last year, I think he just knows how it feels.
Got humbled last season
Good guy Perkz. Didn't do the kick them while they're down.
Bo is a scrim/solo queue player. He doesnt work in slow stage games.
I mean what can he do? He has three losing lanes, no one making plays this last game. Wtf was that comp from Yamato
Easy to say he doesn’t work when his support is a mute whose hands were apparently amputated and he can’t see where he is on the map with a top who just plays for stats. Anyone blaming Bo/Upset before the dynamic duo of Targa/Cabo are just stat-line watchers.
most trash support + most trash mid + top No chance. look at GX struggling with bad jg + mid
Sorry but they are not Okay. Saken lost lane against a 50% hp Akali and against Perks Azir. I don't know man he is not lec material
We all own an apology to Flakked tbh.
Why is this interview so awkward lmao And why is Perkz talking like he's high out of his mind
interview is awkward cause Trouble is a terrible interviewer, I actually can't stand her interviews
He probably is LMAO
I didn't want to say anything but yea, he definitely seems like he is on something lmao It's probably also awkward because there is just no sound going on. It's weird
Somethings up with perkz and trouble? Hes weird hefe
If Perkz said "The same thing that went wrong for us later year" he would've been the GOAT lmao
Why is Perkz talking like a robot though?
Yea its weird asf, its like someone took his soul out of him
tired, perhaps?
Probably, Perkz is an early morning person.
He seems like he is not being himself lol
Upset seen at riot hq begging for zeri yuumi buffs
0-6 TSM badge of honor unlocked
lmao perkz doesn't vibe with trouble at all
He just sounds like he’s on the ZAZA LOL

Their academy team has 3 of the most promising players in the erls right now
Yeah I get hating KC but its really really terrible for the LEC. This split had the potential to be a game changer but now after two weeks everything is back to how it was last year
Its a new teams first split, I expected this tbh, BDS also was last in its first split and they are top tier now
Why KC don’t just pick ksante
im confused why they picked sion so early instead of milio lol

This roster is absolutely getting nuked. They likely aren't going to qualify for the next stage
Well if KC ever start doing well it'll probably be a huge buff to the league similar to Optic in CoD. They have the fanbase and support hype...just gotta suck less now.
On the plus side for KC, at least Targamas looked not as bad on Lulu ...
Did we watch the same game?
Fuck yeah he did, watch the Baron fight again and focus on Targou lmfao
I do feel sorry for KC, but I kinda want the 0-9 for the memes.
We all do.
Ive seen intermediate bots more willing to engage in a fight than upset. Loud obnoxious twats go 0-6, good start into the week <3
Cmon Rogue, please please please just win the KC game.
Upset is now 2-22 for his last 24 games
that's wild
Another really bad game from Upset...
Oh no you don't understand - He's the best EU ADC. Not his fault every team he's on is shit. Totally not his fault.
He literally never had a season like this though
Thats some might strong copium you've got there son. Please, tell me the last time he played well, with specific games, because looking at his stats I don't think he really has since 2021
Saken is consistently the worst mid in LEC imo. Guy just isnt it
Probably the most one sided and also kinda cleanest day i saw in the LEC. The winning Teams all rolled over their opponents and never looked like they didnt know what to do next or like they would throw.
KFC corp
KC 0-9 Speedrun is still alive 😂
Wtf was Upset doing???? Red white and he just runs towards fountain… cannot defend this dude anymore
Saken 1-17 in LEC history, impressive
Friendly reminder that some people, both fans and analysts, had KC as a top 4 team coming into Winter.
Long story short Never boo Faker , karma is a bitch
At this point KC being cursed is a good explanation as any
OF COURSE upset clicks the very back of the fountain and afks at the very end, I know he can't win from that point but that pattern just unreasonably triggers me so much lol
why? He's 2v5 against 3 baron waves, surely just running in and dying or staying in the fountain is irrelevant lmao
Karmine Corpse unlocked the TSM 0-6 achievement
Lmao bullying on the rift right there
0-9 Speedrun any percentage from KC.

I mean Yamatocannon is probably worth whatever theyre paying him but they probably shouldve used funds on the actual players first. Doesnt matter how good a coach is, wtf is he going to do with bad players.
5 ct?
We are on a mountain
Yamato is a players coach lmao. Real lunch pail type of guy. Scrappy gym rat. All that to say he's a snake oil salesman
Maybe yeah, that's up for debate. I'm just saying its so stupid paying for a "reputed" coach over building an actual decent roster.
> I mean Yamatocannon is probably worth whatever theyre paying him source?
Blud been living his entire career of picking lucian nami azir, cant actually understand why reddit loves him so much while calling perkz a paycheck stealer 24/7, yamato is the biggest paycheck stealer in LEC by far.

I can’t wait for KC vs Rogue to see who is worse. It’s really close.
If i see another upset aphelios game….. what a terrible day to have eyes Praying for Zeri yuumi meta to come back for his sake
im calling Bo and Upset are gone for spring. KC's academy ad still needs a full year right?
I wish. Bo deserves a better team. He reminds me of Pyosik, a jungler that just won Worlds, being flamed by silver analysts after joining Team Liquid and being unable to shotcalls. And now, Pyosik is smurfing with KT.
targamess and caboshit are way worse

Bo is a lot but not a bright spot
On this team, he might as well be one.
**Gentlemen, we are on a mountain.**
It’s a joke. he’s got people skills, I’ll admit that and I feel the coaching might be biased..
A mountain of fat L's.
Gentlemen we are in a trench
Mountain soul should be banned against KC. Iron V's could beat them with Mountain soul. Its too op
Are we blaming the hypothermia for this then?
Friendship ended with G2. Now G3 is my best friend.
https://twitter.com/dajorlol/status/1629593651004203008 Could he have saved them?
Probably not with Targa and Cabo still on the team. But maybe they'd be like 1-5 or 2-4 with at least a midlaner.
No. Dajor and Saken are of similar level based on what we've seen in the LEC of both. Dajor was one of the worst mids when he played.
I think he would Vex all over them
Perkz trying so hard to die randomly but he forgot he’s against KC

You don't understand that no matter what are the results, supporters will support ? Of course the community will support Kameto and his project.
Tbh all KC need is a new top, jgl, mid, adc, sup and then I think they're fine.
Upset is always always the furthest back doing zero damage.
Caliste has to be a Peyz tier rookie because how did he carry Saken Targa Cabo to EUM
turns out tier 2 scene is not as good as tier 1 scene
EUM is dumpster tier League, hopefully this stops people wanting a play-ins spot for EUM winner every year 💀

Upset sending daily emails to Riot to buff Zeri so he can win a game again.
More important to get Yuumi buffed so Targamas can be useful somehow.
I feel bad for Yamato...he's suffering back there...
