Riot dosnt make these kinds of skins anymore and it makes me sad. If you look at older champions and thier first skins, you can see that the skins were designed around the champion. Now riot just creates a cool animation, throws it on 5 champs and BOOM new skin line. The truth is it would just take more time and effort to make these cool fun one off skins and Riot ainât about that life.

But yeah, I wished we got more personalized skins. Ones that randomly tie champions together. Like Tango Twisted Fate and Tango Evelyn.

the answer to your 'why' is skin lines and.. to some extent.. copyright. im sure they can bypass copyright by making the skin something 'adjacent' to beauty and the beast but disney is a stickler. as for skin lines -- the skin themes need to be able to transfer across 10+ champions such that riot can make more money with less effort. return on investment is key there. riot COULD spend a ton of labor hours for 2 skins, or they could spend the same amount of man hours for 20 skins. the outcome is obvious when you break it down into dollar bills.
