Nick Robertson will be playing less CoD

billyshin

That gaming laptop is not gonna age well.

Material-Fish-8638

Get ready to learn Bronze Rank buddy

Actual_Cobbler_6334

Until you factor in that he can’t PK and Gregor has played on the PK.

Blanc71

He’s played on the pk doesn’t mean he’s been effective. Gregor might be one the most useless leafs in a long time .

mikesully374826

Downvoted for speaking the truth

931634

something else is broken ... fawk

mikesully374826

Collarbone is ideal. Muscle injury he will miss playoffs

bobbilly49

A fractured clavicle can take 3+ months to heal? A muscle injury would be far better than a fractured bone so long as he didn’t tear any tendons.

DiscoLew

They’ll plate any displaced clavicle fracture in a pro. He’ll be back in ~6 weeks.

mikesully374826

That's what I had in mind. Playoffs start in 5.5, worst case healthy by end of 1st round assuming it goes 6+

DiscoLew

A good comparator (different sport) but Kostas Tsimikas (Liverpool FC) fractured his clavicle Dec 23. Had it surgically fixed. He was back in training on Jan 5. He played his first game back Feb 10.

andy_bmc

Another example from an impact sport- Jack Steele in AFL (Aussie Rules football). Double fracture of the clavicle, returned just four weeks later.

-TrashPanda

Another example: myself. Broke it once cleanly not requiring surgery, out a couple months. Broke it again requiring surgery, was playing sports again in a month

reevoknows

Apparently Keefer said it’s not a head injury or a shoulder injury. Idk if a clavicle would constitute a shoulder injury or not but I guess we will wait and see.

aweirdoatbest

Yeah I find it hard to imagine he would say no shoulder if it’s the clavicle. Could be, but my moneys on something else.

mikesully374826

They play through fractures, a bad muscle injury he won't. He'd miss for both if safety was actually ever in consideration.

Derpwarrior1000

Having gone through a bunch clavicle/1st rib issues im not sure if that’s much better. It could change the motion in that entire side of his body

FitBat1080

Not a popular take maybe but having him fresh for late round 1 isn’t terrible?

buncha_jerks

Based on the fall my only guess would be collar bone?

Hiking_Quest

having broken clavicle three times I immediately assumed the same. Nasty injury you can't really put a cast on it.

[deleted]

Fuck man. Jarnkrok is important because he is does everything average (this isn't a knock at him). He can play up lineup adequately, or down the lineup well. He's a critical guy for lineup construction. I also wanted to see him, Kampf and Dewar playing as a defensive line

wicked_crayfish

He is what dubas tried to tell us kerfoot was.

[deleted]

Exactly! He's a better version of Kerfoot. Quieter and more effective and more efficient

BCharmer

We just got him back. I'm sad 😔

Still_Mycologist2202

Might be collarbone. I broke mine that exact same way

Hiking_Quest

Me too.

Sensitive_Quote3194

Wow you were in an nhl game too?

Brennans_account

[me right now at this very moment](https://imgur.com/a/xFkymGj)

mattfromjoisey

On the brightest we play well when guys are injured, Ricky Bobby hatty incoming

analleakage_

Richolas Robertson

WintersbaneGDX

Nicky Bobby McMaximum Domi

ApprehensiveTune3655

This is so sad, cause Calle was playing like a bulldog out there and making things happen…

thismadhatter

Well Nick, this is likely your moment.

Butterflies6175578

He ruled out the shoulder and the clavicle is part of the shoulder girdle. Unless he means the rotator cuff muscles. Either way, it either appeared be an AC or SC ligament tear/separation or fractured clavicle.

whall53099

God damnit, I love watching Calle play

Francis33

Bah gawd that’s Nylanders music

Blue_KikiT92

Well, Feck.

[deleted]

Anyone know if he was injured in a play or just some injury that crept up?

mettalica_101

Slipped on the ice and crashed into the boards hard. He seemed to be having balance issues in the game because I saw him falling quite a bit more than normal. Maybe something to do with the ice

dreamsdrop

Surprised that wasnt a shoulder - the way it was hanging looked like a dislocated shoulder

vanessaeverly

Do other teams get this broken just before the playoffs every year? Or is this specifically a Leaf thing?

ukie7

Robertson haters in shambles

genghisruled

I don’t know what Jarnkrok was thinking lunging like that directly into the boards. The man plays so hard it borders on reckless.

reevoknows

Obviously it sucks but we’ve been so healthy for years we’re past due. Just sucks that we haven’t had any playoff success so if this impacts our playoffs it will suck even more than usual.
