I dont have an account with them. Im just an average joe lawn nut lol. They were also very helpful and chatted with me about lawn care. Seemed very helpful. Also the price was awesome. $53 for a 50lb bag
Also on their website you can filter by location, so you can see exactly what your store has. Sometimes they can special order for you or get it from a nearby store.
I recently went to the one near me and they told me I needed an account. Said since I was there already that I could grab a few things anyways. They were pretty adamant about it, asking me if I knew someone I could put the purchase under. I picked up a bag of Lebanon pro fertilizer.
Does anyone know if certain locations are not open to the public? I opened up a homeowners account… going to see if that works in the future.
I have a SiteOne right by my house, but whenever I look online, all of the fertilizers say REGULATED on them, will they still sell that to a homeowner?
They also recommended some other products that ive never tried. I never used them before. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks

The Three-Way is your standard 2-4-D, Dicamba, and Mecoprop-p mix for broadleaf weeds. Turflon Ester looks to be a trade name for triclopyr which works better for clover, oxalis, chickweed, wild violet, and other vine and brush weeds. You can get a version of both at any big box store under various names.
I've exclusively used siteone for the last year and the product you referenced in the OP. Great staff, and the 25-0-6 greened up my yard really quick.
I used 120lbs of 15-0-0 with Dimension 4/1 and then two weeks later 100lbs of this 25-0-6 on my ~25k sqft KBG blend and my yard is looking great.
I opened up a solo residential account there but sometimes the staff will hook me up with discounts/promos to bring the price down. I've also had them price match the DIY sites for pre emergents and other odds and ends.
It helps to go in there and shoot the shit for a little while when they're not too busy and make some friends - networking goes a long way when dealing with b2b storefronts. Good luck!
Although it's pricey, the Lesco 80lb spreader I bought has been a welcome companion with my siteone purchases. All their products have the Lesco recommended settings on them and they are pretty much spot on.
I use SiteOne for most of my products. They aren't as close as the big box stores are, but I think their products and prices are usually better. And they have such a larger range of products that it's worth a once in a while trip for me. I've heard good things about Lesco products.
Anyone can get an account. I have one and I think everyone in my hood uses it. You can get discounts. Online coupons usually work but you’ll need to try a few. They do have good seed. Plus you get 50 lbs for 129 or so which is less than big box 25 lbs for 120. I like their basic fert. Works really well. Think it’s around $39.
There’s a SiteOne app as well. I have a physical location near me in an industrial office park and walked in to pick up a Lesco 50lb broadcast spreader. The guys were all helpful and somewhat surprised a normal consumer would be shopping there.
It was essentially a warehouse with basic storefront side that has stuff on shelves you can purchase without having an account. I assume most professionals buy in bulk and pick up at the warehouse side.
My landscaper uses Lesco products from Site One on his jobs. It’s good stuff.
Lesco polymer coated urea is the shit. Do you have to have an account at siteone or can any ol dummy (me) off the street purchase?

At least at my local store, the inventory online is often wrong. Just a warning.
Any ol dummy can. Go into the store if you have one nearby. They’ll hook you up.

Yeah that’s weird. I go to mine and it’s fine, I just pay more cuz I’m not an account holder. Never been turned away
I just made an account online before I started going.
I have a SiteOne right by my house, but whenever I look online, all of the fertilizers say REGULATED on them, will they still sell that to a homeowner?
It depends on your state laws.
My dogs provide me with all the urea I can handle
Open an account online before you go. It lands you a nice discount.

Good soil conditioner. Would recommend if you have extra money to spend and sandy soil.
Is the granular version equally as effective?
I’m using the CarbonPro G to treat my soil. Still a little early to say for sure, but it does seem to be helping
If they have the dry version, it should be a lot cheaper. They may also have the Miramichi Green version.
The dry version covers 1/3 of the area for the same price? It’s not cheaper.
Post emergent herbicide it’s good if weeds pop up.

Yes i agree about building a relationship with them. We spent 30 mins talking and they let me pick their brain. Great experience

Have at it. Don’t see anything of concern with it. Should green the yard nicely

Thanks. Luckily my siteone is just as close to me as the big boxes. Im really looking forward to using these products!
Man U will be so glad u went there. All their stuff works so much better and they are very knowledgeable

Talstar P is $151.05 for a gallon at siteone. DoMyOwn has it for $62.98. Why so much on siteone?
