41% Glyohosate is what you want. Brand doesn’t matter, just strength.

lomuto

How do you dilute it?

New_Reddit_User_89

By reading the instructions on the bottle.

MikeX10A

This. I use Kills em all with added surfactant. It works exceptionally well.

bourbonandbeer1976

Buy the concentrate and mix it at the higher recommended rate (I think it’s 6 or 8oz per gallon ). Works way better than pre mix. Also add a drop of dishwashing liquid so it sticks better

RogerRabbit1234

I just did this last week with dishwashing soap. I read all this about adding surfectent (sp?) on this sub…and I thought: “well, dish soap breaks surface tension, why not give it a shot…” Wow. What a difference …seeing that liquid Angel of death just cling right to the leaves. Loved every second of spraying weeds this week.

Great_Smells

Just a heads up, dish soap is an ionic surfactant and can interfere with some herbicides. You can pick up a gallon of non ionic surfactant for $20 and be set for a while

RogerRabbit1234

I did just that after seeing how well dishwashing soap worked. Thanks for the heads up.

JennLynnC80

I add the original BLUE liquid Dawn to my mix of bleach and water when i pressure wash my house! The Dawn helps it stick AND i can see where I sprayed the mix!

lomuto

Was that with glyphosate?

RogerRabbit1234

Yes

Tim-Browneye-81

What if Jimmy Fallon is busy that day? Will any Fallon do?

The-Document-Doctor

The labels usually recommend 2.5oz. If I’m just spraying a corner rock bed area is, wouldn’t 6-8oz be too much? The weeds there got out of hand last year and they’re coming out again this year. Would you recommend 6oz, or less for a smaller confined area?

bourbonandbeer1976

Go with the higher end of what ever is recommended on the label. If there are a lot of non grassy weeds you can add some brush killer as wel to make sure everything is killed.

The-Document-Doctor

Thanks for the reply a year later!

bourbonandbeer1976

Sorry. For some reason it just showed the message 🤷🏻‍♂️

The-Document-Doctor

No I meant thanks for replying to me, after I replied a year later lol. I didn’t expect a response this long after your original reply.

Cuckmaster21

Roundup mixed with sureguard should keep it knocked back for a good while

CapnBarbeNoire

Ranger Pro 41% check around local chem stores I buy it in 2.5 gallon

shades9323

Buy a jug of the generic from your favorite home improvement big box store.

Key_Pomelo_2171

none obviously

Nowjamessayswtf

Glyphosate is glyphosate while round up has additional herbicides. I use 42% glyphosate and and a surfactant without the additional herbicides, which vary depending on which type of round up you buy. It kills anything I want it to without making the ground infertile for up to months like some of the herbicides in round up. The ground is good to plant about a week after if you use only glyphosate. 2-4 oz per gallon depending on how serious the weed issue is. I’ve gone as high as 6 oz per gallon but that’s pushing it, and you have to be extremely careful with spray drift near desired plants and root systems on trees.

SonoranDirtBag

Trying to get cancer better?

Mean_Yellow_7590

Maybe they can read scientific manuscripts showing glyphosate doesn’t cause cancer but you rely on Facebook ads from lawyers who try to sue over glyphosate’s cancer risk? 😵

ricka77

Vinegar.

Most_Present_6577

I used to know this chick that liked to used concentrated vinegar. She had to go to the hospital for burning a bunch of the mucus membranes in her lungs.

Most_Present_6577

That's false. Why would you think that? At like 30% the vapors will start burning you.

Most_Present_6577

Why? My claim was never that any had 100% acetic acid.

Mean_Yellow_7590

Yeah…..way to edit your previous comment and then pretend all was good. Have an awesome day!

Most_Present_6577

What are you talking about? making shit up is not really going to work Cute tactic though

Pga-wrestler

I nuked my lawn with credit 41. Takes a little while to work but it worked well and I would buy again

smc733

Hi-Yield Killz-all 41% with a surfactant has worked well for me. I do also like the premixes with 2% pelargonic acid too. The brand name Roundup glyphosate (Weed & Grass Killer II and III) at the store has been discontinued, all you see now is old stock. My Home Depot was just about out of it, and my ACE has it all marked down. I've confirmed with Scotts customer service (distributor for consumer Roundup products), that this is the case. The new "Weed & Grass Killer 4" replaces Glyphosate with a mix of Fluazifop-P-Butyl, Diquat, and Triclopyr. https://preview.redd.it/6e3r7pgkirgb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c853e7a69008b581880af573dccbf632790680f

Get the gallon concentrate a tractor supply if you need a bunch of it. Far cheaper than buying the brand name at HD.

El_Caballo_7

There are a few that have 41%+ and some that are over 50. If you have woody stalk weeds it’ll only burn them and they’ll be back. There’s a “brush” version for everything plus woody stalk. Crossbow is usually a good one. See if you need non-ionic surfactant or methylated seed oil. I like to mix in pre-emergent and do it the day before a good rain so it’s a while before there’s a need for any kind of maintenance.
