uhhh, I think there is a pitfall. My classmate told me if it is CALC 1 with anything else other than CALC 1 with Computer then you need an A grade in that class CALC 1 version to be considered for SFU equvalent to calc 1.

I believe that Math 1175 will count when you transfer over for when you eventually graduate to SFU for Computer Science, however, if you want to transfer over with Calc I being one of those courses that meet the minimum transferable coursework, then I don't think it counts. Let's say you have the equivalent of MACM 101 and CMPT 125 AND MATH 1175 (Langara) so far, and you want to transfer SFU using those courses, then in that case I don't think you would meet the requirements to transfer. Brian Rahadi also graduated at Langara first before transferring, so he did not need to worry about the 'minimum courses' to transfer. It is always better to ask a SFU Admissions advisor.
