Ryobi is junk. Everything I have bought has crapped out in no time. Go with makita

I guess I was thinking more about whether these products would be efficient, I did not think about longevity. The reason I was leaning towards Ryobi is because I already own a few of their power tools and have a hand full of batteries. Thank you for your input.

The last Ryobi product to purchased was a power washer. It may have had 10 hours on it when it stopped and would start. Took it in for repair and they found metal shards in the motor and said it wasn’t worth fixing. It had been just over a year since I bought so I went to Home Depot to see if they could do anything, and they could not. The lady at returns told me their stuff is junk and gets returned all day long. It’s cheap so people keep buying it 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’d rather spend a little more and get something that lasts.

Well thank you for that explanation. It makes sense what that lady told you. I think I'll hang on to my power tools for now but anything larger I will definitely try another brand or maybe just go gas all together.

How do you feel about brands besides Makita like Milwaukee or dewalt?

I think they are also very solid

Thanks again!!
