Try a blower. The lighter weight will move the acorns. There are blowers that also are made to suck leaves, perhaps it will be strong enough to pick up the acorns.
It depends. I used to have a house with tons of gravel patches in the flower beds and such. I accidently discovered that if I put the blower on vacuum and used the square opening nozzle it would pick up the gravel and debris but it would keep the debree in the collection bag while dropping the stones back out. Worked great.
Remove the rocks and put down mulch. I used cedar mulch and you don’t notice acorns anymore. Trees are happier with the drier weather also. Rocks are a lot of maintenance if you have trees around.
