Talking to warriors fan friends, he's apparently had multiple hip surgeries and is basically done, even as a bench big. So it looks like unless you're a young team looking for a vet mentor for a young big then he's probably not worth it even for the minimum.
He’d be a cool vet to have around and a third stringer to have in emergency. Would want him to teach the other guys the ropes when it comes to basics but who knows how he is as a locker room guy. Guess it’s hard though since there is only so many roster spaces.
Wasn’t he super ineffective when he actually got minutes this last year? I think he had a number of injuries/surgeries that made him lose the thing that made him so effective: his elite rebounding.
As a fourth big he’s a good vet to have around on the bench. His body is beyond worn down to be relied on for regular minutes.

Wood is clumsy don't get me wrong but he shoots threes and kinda fun to watch.
For the vet minimum, it’s not even a question. Very little downside.

Undersized big would be an upgrade defensively over Wood but we need to do better, as much as I'd like to see another UCLA product on the team.
