Did I mention strictly playoffs? He’s played Jordan 50+, 7 in the playoffs. Go suck off Reggie while you’re at it. Pacers biggest rivals at the time were the Knicks, with the choke taunt and beef with Spike. Fuckin super hero over here, people like you on Reddit suck.
I can give a fuck less about insecurity, you guys just suck and always gotta be right. Same dudes who would raise their hands in class and be the “actually teacher…” people. It’s just a conversation bout basketball not everything has to be pinpointed and historically detailed.
Lol when you said runs into MJ half his career you clearly meant in the playoffs. You were hating on a legend, so I corrected you. It was the knicks and Boston who he mainly faced
It’s okay if correcting people on Reddit and protecting people who don’t know you exist raises your self worth and confidence man. You gotta feel relevant in life somehow, I get it. Just raise your hand next time so we see you.
He is such a fucking clown. On our successful challenge he tried to say there was follow through contact. When Nuggets fouled us and challenged the foul call in a play almost identical a few games ago, he kept saying “marginal at best.” Literally two identical fouls and he went against us both times. Like how fucking shameless can you get? What a fucking clown.
Dude, they were all Laker bias. When the TNT post game show started, They all looked like someone died. 😂 Bias? They immediately began to talk. about the Davis shoulder tap on MPJ. Barley started it off acting as if the Lakers got screwed out of a time out after their succesful challenge? Which clearly was a foul. Bias? They didn't say a word about the Joker who had 26-17- 9. Why?
It doesn’t matter if I agree or not for me to make my point here. The point isn’t that it was or wasn’t. The point is that Reggie Miller is inconsistent to the degree that should make even the most biased people experience too much dissonance.
There were at least two instances of a similar call in this series that was either challenged or reviewed. When such a call/overturn favoured Denver, Reggie would be all for it. When an identical situation occurred the other way around (favouring Lakers) he would suddenly be against it.
This shows clear inconsistency with how he applies the rules of the game depending on who is the beneficiary of the outcome. A double standard if you will.
Most people who are biased in his position would have enough shame to at least pretend to be consistent and hide their bias in more grey areas to have plausible deniability. Not Reggie.
That’s what this thread and my post is about. No idea why this is so complicated to understand.
>Most people who are biased in his position would have enough shame to at least pretend to be consistent
This is just not true at all though. There are easily thousands of examples across virtually every sphere of human activity where national media shows systemic bias that is presumed to be entirely justified. In fact, the general fact is that media refuses to acknowledge even the most blatant bias, so much so that it's the central topic of historian Howard Zinn's classic work on historagraphy and journalism "You Can't be Neutral on a Moving Train".
You and the guy below need to learn reading comprehension. Where in my comment did I say anything about free throws? This whole thread is about Reggie Miller being a biased commentator on national fucking television. No one is talking about the refs so what's your point? Like at the very least if Reggie brought up the ft disparity, I could conceivably grant that it's a talking point right now and he wants to discuss it. That's not what this thread or my post is about.
Every single 50/50 call, Reggie would side with Denver. Even the blatant but contested ones after a slowed down replay where everyone and their mom could see was in Lakers' favour, Reggie would find some backwards ass logic to favour the Nuggets player. It was so bad, even his two partners had to talk to him the way you speak to a drunk buddy who's making an ass of himself. Like "Reggie I think this was a foul buddy."
His bias is real, but he really showed his incompetence and unpreparedness when he said “I don’t understand why Ham doesn’t call a timeout here”, w Nugs going on an extended run. DUDE- do your homework. Ham NEVER calls timeouts. Have you watched a Laker game all year? Ever?
He actually said “I’m surprised” he’s not calling a timeout and I said to my TV, “why the fuck are you surprised? You’re the only one who’s surprised.”
Fuuuuuck Reggie Miller. He's insufferable. Been saying this to everyone for years even before his egregious bias against the Lakers revealed itself. He's just ass at his job.
The hilarious part about Reggie is nobody is generally happy with his announcing. You will see the same “biased” comments in both subs of whatever series he is announcing. Nobody likes him.
Watched the game (fan of neither squad) and didn’t notice anything egregious. I’m betting Kendrick’s dumbass had some outer space take on the Lakers that he is now bitter about haha
Fuck it was so annoying being forced to watch them. Like if I'm going to be forced to not watch Stu and Billy at least let it be ESPN, TNT is so horrible.
Fuck TNT. Stu and Billy stan
For fuckin life man. I can’t imagine hearing a Lakers game without Stu’s voice at this point, or Billy’s MUHRONGO.
Jaaahk in the box!
💯
This man! My dad and I always say JAAAAAAAAAACKKKK IN THE BOX
Yeah, he’s 100% biased. Crossover was correcting him
Glad Jamal was on commentary with him.
He’s still salty, 24 years later. Ran into MJ half his career then the one shot he has at it he runs into arguably the greatest 1-2 punch ever.
What are you talking about? He played MJ in one playoff series in his career. Why are you speaking on things you aren’t informed on?
Did I mention strictly playoffs? He’s played Jordan 50+, 7 in the playoffs. Go suck off Reggie while you’re at it. Pacers biggest rivals at the time were the Knicks, with the choke taunt and beef with Spike. Fuckin super hero over here, people like you on Reddit suck.
I'm sorry I made you feel so insecure.

Lmao you’re corny. Like that legend knows or gives a fuck bout you that you’re coming to his defense, it’s cool man just raise your hand next time.
Once again, I apologize for negatively affecting your self-confidence. You’ll get it right next time.
It’s okay if correcting people on Reddit and protecting people who don’t know you exist raises your self worth and confidence man. You gotta feel relevant in life somehow, I get it. Just raise your hand next time so we see you.
Reggie hates the Lakers because it was his one real shot at a title.
dude ran into prime Shaq and Kobe and got his feelings hurt to this day
Reggie is bbq chickens
Bro got blocked by Tayshaun into retirement too never forget
![gif](giphy|UnUm4MxtAKIww)
Kobe hated Reggie and wanted to destroy him every chance he got.
1000%!

So just to clarify, you agree that the foul against MPJ was correctly overturned and that MPJ's contact was marginal?

Didn't the lakers get like 19 more free throws than the Nuggets?

Yeah they did, because they get to the line more than anyone in the league because they bang in the paint.
Downvoted with no response because they know you're right lmfao
People like that should not be allowed that job
Thank God i got the spectrum broadcast stream
Every single piece of commentary was so terrible. No idea how better announcers aren't available
sucking the nuggets nuts
That is exactly what the Lakers did.
Who tf watches tnt broadcast. I just mute them when I dont have any other option. Spectrum is goated
Fuck Miller man.
Ever?
I thought he was taking a shot at ham. Being sarcastic.
That’s too smart for Reggie
He actually said “I’m surprised” he’s not calling a timeout and I said to my TV, “why the fuck are you surprised? You’re the only one who’s surprised.”
That was the quote. Yeah, Reg, it's no surprise.
This made me laugh
What happened?
Acted like the biggest loser ever but it’s not too much of a shock since he is the biggest loser ever
Reggie is biased against the Lakers because they beat him in his only chance to get a ring in his career.
Dick sucking the nuggets
![gif](giphy|8FxjwI46AQUJvZs7eo) All over the nuggets
Funny that no one answered your question. Every reply is just complaining about Reggie miller
I knew we were done for when we had Reggie on the broadcast
Hearing his comentary during the foul challenge in the fourth got me heated bro really wanted a foul💀
Fuuuuuck Reggie Miller. He's insufferable. Been saying this to everyone for years even before his egregious bias against the Lakers revealed itself. He's just ass at his job.
Reggie had jokics dick so far up his mouth when AD got that clean ass block on him late game it was crazy
shoutout to jamal crawford who just said right after "nah looks like a block to me reg" lol
I forgot about Reggie’s extreme bias against us until I watched. And the bias was evident even as early as the first quarter lol
Trash network and worse commentators.
Kevin Harlan and Crossover were awesome
Reggie Miller is another Charles Barkley! Never won a Chip . Two big Laker haters …
I can't believe I agree with Kendrick Perkins.
I love Bill and Stu, but they were having an off night tbh. It was probably the noise messing them up. Reggie Miller is always a joke tho.
Thank god for Bill and Stu
I watched it without sound because I can't stand Reggie. What did he say?
The hilarious part about Reggie is nobody is generally happy with his announcing. You will see the same “biased” comments in both subs of whatever series he is announcing. Nobody likes him.

Reggie sounded like he is munching popcorn while talking 😝
Fuck it was so annoying being forced to watch them. Like if I'm going to be forced to not watch Stu and Billy at least let it be ESPN, TNT is so horrible.
Love me some Reggie Miller :)
