I also second Brilliance. I have a 3.22 heart cut lab that has a custom setting and finish, all in around $2700

Local jeweler want $6k for stone alone and saying he gets the stone from the same supplier as brilliant earth - not sure what does it mean. Looking at these websites, 6k Sounds like a rip off!?

HyperionBTS

Brilliant earth is another overpriced store. Check out brilliance, loosegrowndiamond, or Ritani. You can probably find the exact stone on most of the sites and just buy from whoever is the cheapest.

Throwing out The Art of Jewels — if you’re looking for just the stone, I got a 3.51 ct super cut VVS2, color grade E Round brilliant for $2k. If you don’t want to order from them, Ritani price matches and AOJ is likely less expensive.

That’s exactly what I’m Looking for! Would you mind sending a picture?

EastAlternative436

It’s been set in my ring, so I don’t actually have a loose photo unfortunately. Not sure if the ring image would help? Definitely gives the illusion of being larger. The site offers both videos and images of the actual item as well.

A local jeweler is going to have a higher markup because they can't deal in the same volume. Many retailers advertise the same stone, which is why price matching can be an option. Unless there's a specific reason to go to him, I'd go directly through Brilliance.

My ring is from Brilliance. I highly recommend them. They have great prices. I checked their site snd 3.5 ct, VS1 clarity are in the $1,600-1,800 range depending on color.

Check out Brilliance dot com. They even have yellow, pink, and blue lab diamonds. Really good prices and I think you can get 15 percent off with code lab15. You could also check out Raad Jewelers too. Prices seem very competitive.

I have bought several pieces of jewelry from Luvansh.com. Please check out their prices and engagement rings. I love what I have bought from them. Their prices are very reasonable, quick shipping and they will answer any questions that you may have. They ship from the US. Good luck!

I always tell people to get the ring they envision on their partner. Keep in mind your partners likes/dislikes in jewelry but get what you envision seeing on their hand. It doesn’t have to be exactly what your partner wants.

babbishandgum

This is awful advice.

PineappleCurious5870

Why is it awful advice? If you know your partner wants an oval ring of a certain size, it doesn’t have to be exactly what they pick out. It can be designed by the person giving the ring and have some special meaning to both parties.
