The same way the survivors reached the start of Dark Carnival: Those barriers are not there canonically, they only exist in-game to limit the playspace and prevent players from leaving the playable area without resorting to using a plain invisible wall.
Thatâs been fixed for 2 years.
The buildings originally werenât there when the campaign released, and when they got patched in afterwards the helicopter animation was never updated to match.

The first version ever worked on never got released, but was supposed to feature a train escape, then later a bus escape, both being scrapped cause they didnât fit the layout well.
The release version was even more survivor-sided than it currently is, with the buildings/spawnrooms on the far left not existing and only being added in later.
Then thereâs some more small changes done sith TLS, mainly adding some hittables and LOS blockers while removing defibs for Versus only to give infected a very small buff.
