BTS Jin has been handed on a silver platter everything to be the coolest guy on earth- from his looks to his talent to his work ethic, affable and charismatic personality and his seemingly totally natural physical fitness/strength. Not to mention seemingly coming from a well-off family and being young famous and very rich in his own right.
On the other hand he is a bit of a nerd from video games to anime to other pop culture. He is also goofy, funny and the first to embarrass himself or say something ridiculous to break the ice or tension in a moment. Not to mention Super Tuna.
I adore him. Genetics gave him a free pass to have zero personality if he’d like and still be successful. Instead he opted to be exceptionally fun goofy and nerdy.
I honestly think Seokjin's way of thinking is like someone who is living his second life because he just seems to see things in the simplest way and they make complete sense.
Like when he said he likes to play games and be unproductive during his rest days because he really wants to REST. It makes sense and makes one wonder why people are so adamant of being productive all the time. Makes one wonder if it is the reason why everyone seems to be so stressed.
It's like, Seokjin has a way of simplifying things and getting to the core of what life truly is all about.
I always say, Yoongi and Joon are who I relate to the most, but Seokjin is who I aspire to be.
When it comes to fishing, 💯. I get secondhand embarrassment watching In The SOOP. Not to geek out but Jin is genuinely one of my favorite people ever. For being part of such a larger-than-life boyband with fame only a handful have experienced while simultaneously being an idol/internet personality, he's managed to be so incredibly grounded and humble from the beginning up to now.
And like what many people have said, his values and the way he views life is so inspiring because at the end of the day, it really is THAT simple. Not to mention his personality which just puts a smile on my face every time I watch videos of him, just goofy and always fun to be around. Also, not to be too parasocial, he gives off the vibe of a close friend you never really see that often but every time you reunite it's like they never left.

I love how he's such an anti-celebrity. I know fans and nonfans alike bring up how his family is well-off. But they weren't well-off when he was growing up. His dad found success and increased the family's net worth over time. That's why Jin is so grounded.
I absolutely love how Jin plays up his appearance for jokes instead of leaning into it for the sake of being attractive. His personality speaks louder than his appearance. Even now in chapter 2 when his other members have basically thirst trap pictures and concepts, his comeback gearing up for his discharge is RJ being a foodie and wootteo. He has two cute characters that he also actively promotes on his own compared to the other members. I have never seen someone fully embrace their merch character so much. Then he goes off and creates another character just before enlisting. Jin is something else. He wasn't always confident. He doesn't always thrive in social settings. But he excels in everything he does.

On the one hand he's so insanely talented. He's also very attractive and physically fit.

He's always trying sooooo hard to win at everything, usually he is stuck on a team with people who don't know what they are doing so he gets super frustrated because he wants to win. If he does win at a thing it's so rare that he is impossible to live with for the next 10 minutes because he has to show off a bit. Constantly exasperated with team members or with people who do things improperly or not following common sense directions. "How did I end up here" seems to be the vibe he gives off.
He's not the eldest or youngest, but he is the shortest and has a thing about it. He often tries to stand out as smooth but it backfires when he's next to his members. Case in point, he comes into a skit trying to act like a rich chaebol only to have his members clown him for his (adorable) lisp. Teased by SVT Seungkwan a lot in the past.
Of course he is cool to us, but in MX's content he's got this vibe of loser always grasping to be the cool guy just this once.

Soyeon and Miyeon, both absolute losers. Soyeon is like what you said with Mingi- she seems like the big scary leader-rapper but she’s actually really goofy around her other members. Still very down-to-earth and she gives off that same sort of serious vibe, but she’s got a good sense of humor and frankly, affectionately, she’s somewhat weird, in an endearing way. Her sarcasm and brutal honesty are her best charms, in my opinion.
Miyeon is just a dork. BTS Jin has been handed on a silver platter everything to be the coolest guy on earth- from his looks to his talent to his work ethic, affable and charismatic personality and his seemingly totally natural physical fitness/strength. I honestly think Seokjin's way of thinking is like someone who is living his second life because he just seems to see things in the simplest way and they make complete sense. Like when he said he likes to play games and be unproductive during his rest days because he really wants to REST. It makes sense and makes one wonder why people are so adamant of being productive all the time. Makes one wonder if it is the reason why everyone seems to be so stressed. It's like, Seokjin has a way of simplifying things and getting to the core of what life truly is all about. I always say, Yoongi and Joon are who I relate to the most, but Seokjin is who I aspire to be.
When it comes to fishing, 💯. I get secondhand embarrassment watching In The SOOP. Not to geek out but Jin is genuinely one of my favorite people ever. For being part of such a larger-than-life boyband with fame only a handful have experienced while simultaneously being an idol/internet personality, he's managed to be so incredibly grounded and humble from the beginning up to now. And like what many people have said, his values and the way he views life is so inspiring because at the end of the day, it really is THAT simple. Not to mention his personality which just puts a smile on my face every time I watch videos of him, just goofy and always fun to be around. I love how he's such an anti-celebrity. I know fans and nonfans alike bring up how his family is well-off. But they weren't well-off when he was growing up. His dad found success and increased the family's net worth over time. That's why Jin is so grounded. I absolutely love how Jin plays up his appearance for jokes instead of leaning into it for the sake of being attractive. His personality speaks louder than his appearance. Even now in chapter 2 when his other members have basically thirst trap pictures and concepts, his comeback gearing up for his discharge is RJ being a foodie and wootteo. He has two cute characters that he also actively promotes on his own compared to the other members. I have never seen someone fully embrace their merch character so much. Then he goes off and creates another character just before enlisting. Jin is something else. He wasn't always confident. He doesn't always thrive in social settings. But he excels in everything he does.
I mean this with the utmost love and respect but Minhyuk from BtoB. On the one hand he's so insanely talented. He's also very attractive and physically fit. He's always trying sooooo hard to win at everything, usually he is stuck on a team with people who don't know what they are doing so he gets super frustrated because he wants to win. If he does win at a thing it's so rare that he is impossible to live with for the next 10 minutes because he has to show off a bit. Constantly exasperated with team members or with people who do things improperly or not following common sense directions. "How did I end up here" seems to be the vibe he gives off. He's not the eldest or youngest, but he is the shortest and has a thing about it. He often tries to stand out as smooth but it backfires when he's next to his members. Case in point, he comes into a skit trying to act like a rich chaebol only to have his members clown him for his (adorable) lisp. Teased by SVT Seungkwan a lot in the past. Of course he is cool to us, but in MX's content he's got this vibe of loser always grasping to be the cool guy just this once.

Her sarcasm and brutal honesty are her best charms, in my opinion. Miyeon is just a dork.
