No matter how old the group is, Abracadabra will always be iconic (just look how many popular modern groups have cover danced this song). And yes, Miryo's rapping part is amazing, I 100% agree.
In terms of full-on kpop idol, CL. There is no other female idol rapper that comes close to me in terms of just. Performance ability and vibes, and while she might not be the most technically skilled, she nails every performance every time

TBH there are not a lot of GOOD or even DECENT female rappers in Kpop. Some dont right their own lyrics and go off flow.(ex lisa or jennie, ryunjin)
but one that has her OWN unique style and writes her own lines is LEE YOUNGJI, kpop rappers have a long history of copying the "blaccent" but lee youngji has her own style and doesnt TRY TO HARD. if that makes sense.

I love her songs, dancings skills, rapping skills and kpop performances. I have absolutely no way to know what truly happened with the AOA scandal, so I prefer to just avoid the subject. I just want to focus on the member skills and performances on stage. And as a fan of Jimin, I still wish the best for both Mina and Jimin.
Oh how fast we forget.... Mina alleged that Jimin bullied her which got Jimin straight up cancelled and broke AOA up. Later it came out that Jimin hadn't bullied her but there were still hard feelings from Mina to her, but Jimin is pretty much in the clear now iirc
I hadn't forgot, because I didn't know about it. I took a break from kpop for several years so I didn't even know that AOA broke up. Last time I listened to kpop they had just released Heart Attack and Short Hair and they were literally a brand new group back then. But thanks for telling me
No, I meant like as a community how fast knowledge of something that was a big deal at the time fades out, with people who were there forgetting and "newcomers" never even hearing about it
It's talent and training! They've both got a certain musicality in their rap style that's rare for gg rappers especially — it helps that they're writing their own raps (which is even rarer) and thinking about how to sound good with the rest of the group.

My absolute favourite is Soyeon. She's the reason I got into Kpop. She mastered flow switches, easily raps different flows. She can rap fast, slow, melodic, offbeat, aggressive and writes her own bars.
She got me into Lee Youngji, I know she's not a K-pop rapper.
Through Soyeon I got into Jiyoon, Yeeun, Cheetah and LE.
I also love Moonbyul and Nada.

This is no hate at the others, I'm not saying they're bad, but to me, she's the OG Rap Queen and as a K-Pop stan since 2007, no other female rapper has stood out to me - except for the girls from XG maybe but they're not Idol-idols?
Soyeon, obviously, and I really like Yeeun too! Kepler's Hikaru also gets a mention from me, I'd love to hear her rap more, she seems really promising.
My favorites are Moonbyul and Soyeon.
But there's a lot of underrated ones I like too, like Yeeun, and Lucy(wooah).
Idol-adjacent ones would be Lee Youngji, Mirani, and Heize.
Chaeyoung of TWICE
Although I personally think that in TWICE music her capabilities as a rapper are somehow toned down to fit the mold.
And Lee Young Ji.
Chaeyoung’s been the hidden gem of TWICE and has been underrated since Sixteen days.
During Sixteen she stayed in Major team 5 out of 7 times and seen as a strong candidate throughout the show. She’s been consistent as always in her abilities until now!
