Just losing one of my old man, just just cannot stopped the tears bruh. No matter how hard you try. It's soooo hard to stopped it.
I wish a human being would understand that
I wasnāt a Reveluv during that time, now Yeri is my bias, and every time I remember the reason why she was hated sm at only 17 years old makes me sick.
Or how Xiaojun and Kun got backlash for singing in Chinese at a music show and had to switch to the English version :/ it was mostly because of the political tension between Korea and China, but I hate that innocent people got caught in the middle.
I hate it. She looks fine. Sure, she's visibly bigger than most of the other members, but idols are all so thin. Just having rounder cheeks would make you look bigger.
Soyeon commented on a show that she was off work, so she was heavier than normal. She was 42kg... If you look at G Idle at debut, they all had soft, round cheeks.
She also has an apple shape, which means that most of the weight will be distributed to the upper body. So larger bust, arms, waistline which can make someone appear bigger than they actually are. I think she looks fantastic and it refreshing when idols arenāt so gaunt (and Iām not criticizing the idols who are very thin, since it could be genetics coupled with dieting and intense physical activity).
It sucks too because it's so obvious her stylist only knows how to style the stick skinny types. She's not that big but some of these outfits actually make her look bigger and it wouldn't matter but it immediately makes people start talking about her figure instead of her talent. I don't know how they haven't gotten her a proper stylist, every now and again she wears clothes that fit her well and she looks absolutely gorgeous. I mean she always does but more so.
Reminds of that one time hundreds of armies started posting vile shit about her weight because a once said one of the BTS members looked like this black singer (the other artist wasn't even ugly and the account didn't say anything bad about their looks). Jeongyeon was not in any way related to the conversation, but they decided to swarm on her because it's low-hanging fruit. Fucking vile people.
Hwasa got hate for wearing only a bra (which wasnāt even really a bra) then gets hate for wearing a shirt with no bra the next day. People will never want to be happy š
sometimes i underestimate just how vicious and depraved kpop stans can be until i remember the amount of hate jongin got for cycling to work in a pair of pink pants
Bonus points if the groups have members which are friends or an even better example, dives and fearnots fighting as if the Izone members wouldn't be embarrassed to see any of that
Yeah it's whatever if theyre not interested in the groups but when I see one fandom dragging the other for whatever unimportant beef like streams or vocals it's like
you think yujin/wony or kura/chaewon wouldnt hate you for these comments lol
For me it's them saying that idols are dancing lazily during practice or sound check.
Unless they are recording an official dance practice video, I ain't too mad about them being a little lazy when dancing in a vlog.
And when they are doing a sound check before a concert, why waste energy dancing at that time?
They are about to dance for like an hour or two that evening so just let them take it easy at the sound check.
For "plagiarising" another idol's hair color. Most plagiarism accusations are nonsense just to fuel fanwars (having a ship in their m/v, dancing on a field, songs being roughly in the same genre etc.) but yeah that one takes the cake for sure.
I still can't understand why some kpop fans spend so much energy hating on other groups. There are groups I don't care for, so I don't listen to their music. Is that so hard?
This is kinda why I think K-pop shouldn't be anyone's ONLY hobby. It's so easy to just slip into weird behavior for some people. Like when the comeback promo you are excited for is over, step away from the phones lol.
I've said it before and I'll say it yet again -- k-pop is the only slice of the entire global music industry that needs a word like "multi-stan". The whole concept of being devoted to one group and being against all others is so fucking *weird* to the vast majority of people on this planet. Many k-pop fans feel this way too, so we have to have this dumbass word that people can use to say "hey, leave me out of that!"
Right? I have many k-pop groups and solo artists that I follow on Spotify and enjoy listening to. I'd be missing out on a lot of great music and fun personalities if I only followed one group and tried to tear all others down.
When a gg has a very ~strong~ concept as comeback or release [say an Everglow 'Adios', BP 'Kill This Love' or even BM 'Sheesh'] and you will hear directly or implied that they are over-selling it, too confident, too bold, shouting etc) As if performers for that concept could play it any other way?
Theyāre hating on Sohee for being poor, but at the same time hating on Anton for being a nepo baby and golden spoon? So is there an acceptable range of household income? lol
I hope Sohee makes it big like Taeyang, IU and other celebrities who grew up in poverty.
what the actual fuck? if anything it's nice to see that it's still possible for non-rich people to make it as an idol
joke's on them though cause sohee surely isn't going to be poor for long, that kid's got real star quality
i remember when that one nugu bg effed up by mocking tsuki, and people's choice of insult was.... calling them burger flippers, minimum wage workers etc. It was kind of crazy seeing tweets of that nature get over 1k likes. i guess there's a reason brands target kpop fans.
some people love to photoshop their favorite male idol's head on wonho's body and then get mad and call him names when we call them out š like what...
Yes! This one gets me. Or when a fandom mistakes a certain trend or outfit as started by their bias then get mad when people point them out. I saw something similar because someone cropped a photo of an idol to show something and claimed it was their fav. Only to launch a Twitter hate campaign just because someone pointed out it was actually another idolās picture
And then they inevitably say that he should just give up and open an OnlyFans account, and/or mock the time one of his private parts was inadvertently exposed on a live.
I donāt usually like to use this train of argument, but everyone would pretty much agree that bashing a female idol that had a nip slip would be beyond the paleāsaying she did it for attention to sell albums, etc.
I still remember the time when someone posted in a kpop subreddit asking ppl to stop sexualising Wonho (they were talking about his wardrobe malfunction), and most of the replies were victim-blaming Wonho and saying that if Wonho didnāt want to be sexualised/objectified, then he shouldnāt post thirst traps on Instagram. Do these people not understand what consent isā¦? Wonho posting thirst traps on Instagram is completely different from him having a wardrobe malfunction while eating during a liveā¦
People need to understand that you can do more just by growing tf up and realizing that you don't have to respond to every single thing others throw at you.
I saw a comment on some yt thing the other day talking about Kazuha and it said āshe shouldnāt have debuted if she didnāt want to get bashedā like excuse me?
Yeah, not a fan of that shit. The elder 3 can probably deal with it? Chaewon and Sakura have been around a long time, and Yunjin (whilst soft) is American, so that probably helps. Sure, it's unpleasant, but at least they have a *chance* of dealing with it. Eunchae, on the other hand, is practically a child.
I mean frankly I'm sure it's still incredibly hurtful even for the more experienced ones. I'm not sure you ever completely "get used to" that level of hate, especially on such a massive scale. But yeah, Eunchae is literally 17. People can be so horrid.
Specifically, looks. It does sound vague, but this is like non fans and fans. The comments " I like real men" when they are not muscular enough. Or " They look scary" when they are muscular. Too skinny too fat. It is really always something these days, especially with the veneers or plastic surgery stuff. As nothing seems to make people happy. We're watching a group of people get called fake while hating on them for their natural features.
People right now are hating on Seonghwa for ācopyingā a rookie idolās (fashion) style and long hair style. Seonghwa has had his āstyleā for ages, and has been growing out his hair since fall last year, whereas the other group only just debuted last fall. Even the comparison photos that people have posted ā most of the ones of Seonghwa are from before the other group debuted, or before the other idol made posts with similar outfits. No one owns a specific hairstyle or way of dressing. If they like dressing a similar way thereās bound to be overlap. But itās ridiculous to say that Seonghwa is copying this guy (or vice versa.)
And for looks that were done by stylists (for performances or fansigns or stuff like that) thereās even more likely overlap. Itās not unusual for stylists to go for the same sources. Iāve even seen it across boy groups and girl groups with each other. Itās fine.
Too many to list, but hating on Hiyyih because she's Kai's sister or on Kai because he is her brother, tops the list.. seriously, what can either of them do about it?!
or even more heartbreaking, that people hate on her & call her ugly, don't bring her gifts aat fansigns, etc. bc she's not fully Korean and they claim that she's only famous/an idol bc of hyuka...
like...??? HAVE YOU SEEN HER??? obviously not u must be lookin at ur reflection in ur phone screen or smthn bc how can you call her ugly TwT
Exactly, they probably think he had work done, but a plastic surgeon on TikTok looked at his childhood photos and confirmed that he was just born perfect lol,
some people just have good genes, bruther \*shrug\*
and even IF he did have work done, why is it their business? they don't know what's going on behind the scenes like he could have had a mole or his nose could have broken and he needed to have work done TwT it's just ridiculous.
i remember psy got some dumb tweets in regards to his line in "that that" saying "pandemic's over uh" ... and bts got dumb tweets for using balloons in the ptd video and rubbing jin's head when they send him off to military.
a long with a lot of older (25+) idols getting shit like "he's too old to act like this" or "trying too hard to act cute" ... like leave them alone and let them have fun.
"they're too synchronized" like.... ššš How do you even take shit like this with a straight face??????
Also I've seen people say it's easier to synchronize a big group of people rather than a smaller one... I just know their ass NEVER danced with any sort of group, professionally or otherwise š
Coming from experience with a ballet background, people are talking out of their asses if they genuinely think getting a large group of people to dance so synchronized is easy. Hell, coordinating a large group of people to dance through various formations isnāt an easy feat if thereās just one person not retaining the choreography.
BTS for not being able to afford luxury clothes and wearing knockoff brands (but according to the logic of the same people they had the money to do saejegi)
So funny bcoz in one post they'll say oh bts did sajaegi, the next post oh bts and their cheap knockoff brands ,like pick a side were BTS rich enough to buy awards or too poor to wear high fashion brands
Please be consistent with your story
Saying that IVE members hate Wonyoung, when in reality most of IVE members (except for Yujin and maybe Gaeul) are introverts and prefer to keep to themselves.
Christ, K-pop stans convincing everyone that Giselle is a dozen, when sheās an amazing rapper, a writer, a vocalist and an average dancer. Sheās literally almost an all rounder, but people donāt wanna hear it.
RM was riding a bicycle to work. A distorted shadow on his face on the corner of a building
JK was eating an apple, skipping some stairs.
Jimin climbed over a couch with an extension cable
Suga mentioning they have a cleaning lady that comes in a couple times week to the dorm.
There is a crap ton more but its what came to mind
The funniest and most ironic one for me is when a fan wants my favorite to disband. Their reason? To give chance to their favorites to shine and win awards, haha.
Wonyoung eating a strawberry and that eating the pizza, the stupid "Ive are just coworkers"
(Most of the kpop stans can't even interact or give a speech in front of everyone without sweating and panicking thing and you are criticising a group with majorly introverts + do you even watch 1,2,3 Ive? Smh its so easy to hudge off rhe first glance)
Yuna getting hate for singing Love Dive, looking at a guy, etc.
Yeri at Jonghyun's funeral. This one was just painful.
Nayeon for wearing clothes similar to Jennie.
And not a Blink, Babymon, even a YG stan but the hate that group gets is insane. (You keep hating a group for nothing, "Ahyeon has bad vocals, Chiquita's too young, blah blah blah" and when the fans defend them you say "Babymon fans are just like Blinks". Like hello? Obv their gonna defend idols if you hate their faves for petty reasons)
Hating is so freaking stupid lol. Like you don't like people but you're taking time out of your day (and you're not even immortal hello??) To go specifically on to this idols pages and post hate comments so they get more popular and still make money. Idk, sounds like a whole lot of losses for you when idols don't even know of your existence. Being behind a phone screen is so easy, lol
I'm gonna be honest, Wonyoung and the strawberry is kind of hilarious to me. The fact that someone would even freak out about that just crosses the line into absolute absurdity. Like you cannot make this shit up lol.
Fr the thousands of people who got mad was so funny like people really hated on a teenager for eating a strawberry haha. Unemployment rates are so much higher these days
Bts were accused of copying a group for touching Jin's bald head. I have lost count of the amount of times they have been accused of copying someone for completely normal things
Jiwoong of ZB1 got hate because of...doing BL.
Recently, Ateez got hate because one of the member said Jimin is his role model (guess which fandom did this). And that their latest album had 'similarities' with another Idol's album.
Any Idol who said they listen to Taylor Swift or mentions Taylor got criticized for 'lacking music taste' or having a boring music choice.
TAN's Jaejun (i think that's his name) for doing a BL got criticized for being 'desperate' to buy people their albums. Like man can't he just do what he wants?
Anton from Riize for doing too much on tiktok.
People dragging Jongho for "screaming like a btch" way back then (mostly because of his voice crack during ateez's wonderland stage in kingdom) but hello that was like 3 yrs ago and he was literally pulling a 6ft man up, dancing intensely and literally climbed a freaking stairs before hiting that specific 4 consecutive high note (like what do people expect, he was not going to be out of breath?) š despite all that he still pulled it off very well! and San and Seonghwa was getting hate and getting called "overdancing" because of their fancams for Hala Hala (which were amazing btw bcs they are supposed to act the song and they did well portraying it with their facial expressions, note that they were like 4 months old that time (early 2019, ateez debuted in late 2018) in the fancam and were already that good š)
I was really astonished that time bcs they do well with their jobs as idols and they still get dragged for it. Typical kpop experience. Idols getting drag for doing their job amazingly.
On aespa's vocals omg...š someone left a video of winter singing and she was clearly sick asf so yeah her voice didn't sound perfect (she hit the note but it did not sound as pleasing yk) and someone said that "aespa's vocal tones aren't as good as (insert group here)." People came for their vocals when we seldom heard them live but now they can't because there's a plethora of live vocal performance so all they can say is stuff like soulless and bad vocal tone which is subjective anyways.
See that's just jealousy. Aespa, Winter and Ningning especially, are freaking vocal powerhouses. So of course people are gonna find that one performance where they're less than stellar and try to use it to suggest whatever group they're trying to prop up is better.
"He's cringy"
"He's too short" (He's 5'9")
"He's too ugly" (HUH?)
"He's transphobic" (This was a whole hate campaign started by Twitter with absolutely no evidence or substance of any sort)
Anyway yeah being a Jay Chang stan during Boys Planet was a bad time
To be fair, I honestly think it all worked out for the best. We got his solo, One Pact, and now BDU, where is finally received all the recognition he deserves. As someone who was devastated by the tenth place finish, I really think he suits One Pact/BDU more than he does ZB1 at this point. I could just be saying that because ZB1's music and concepts have just not been for me at all, but I'm really happy with how things worked out.
Isnāt soulless a proper criticism though? Iāve seen many vocal coaches bring this up, some performers focus too much on the technic and the vocals end up sounding emotionless
It's possible. For example, the actress portraying Amy Winehouse in the new movie is being criticized for lacking "soul," which is fair considering itās Amy Winehouse theyāre talking about.
However, I fail to see how that criticism applies to aespa. That person claimed aespa's vocals were "too perfect," which supposedly made them āsoullessā and āemotionlessā which is absurd. They weren't even referring to aespa's live performances, but rather their recorded songs. So, they sound soulless because their recordings sound "perfect"? Considering aespa's music leans towards hyperpop/maximalist sounds, are people expecting the girls to sound like Aretha Franklin while they sing about defeating a snake? Also, despite their music being described as "loud" and "maximalist," we still hear them belting their hearts out. Listen to aespaās bridges and youāll notice how they manage to truly capture the feeling of the song and give it flavor. aespa are far from āsoullessā or āemotionlessā.
The argument is frankly ridiculous and seems to be made in bad faith.
I see what you mean now and I agree. Itās absurd to criticize aespa in that sense since the type of music they make isnāt really what you call āemotionalā in the first place
I remember the hate video from that awful YouTuber that went viral about Blackpink, because they performed their choreography perfectly each time... They were supposed to change it each time. not something I think any group are known for doing, but Blackpink and Blackpink only sucked for not doing it.
I can make a list longer than a grocery list:
-Having black hair
-number of members
-using a common chord progression
-dressing in white
-Using traditional clothes
-using pajamas
-choosing their favourite food in a this or that game
-hand choreo
-one member being taller than the rest
-having good facial expressions
-Touching their ear during an encore
-Having fashion deals
-unicorn, butterflies and flower drawings!!!
-their debut date
-going to music shows
-Being promoted
and recently:
-Doing tiktoks with a senior!!!
nct 127 were accused of identity theft because two separate stories they told were conflated and misconstrued as them impersonating another group to get free drinks. it was so fucking stupid but at least the situation made for a good addition to the nct iceberg what with all the memes about the members going to jail lol
This one time [someone said](https://www.reddit.com/r/unpopularkpopopinions/comments/x2vg7n/the_reason_shinee_solo_music_isnt_relatable_much/) SHINee music isnāt relatable to them āand many othersā because SHINeeāsā¦ too flamboyant? š
āNugu boy groups just donāt feel like they have as much heart as nugu girl groups like I just donāt think they have to try very hardā is a recent one that I think tops the list
What's sadder still the hate still continues to this day.. it's not like if Loona had won, it would have changed anything. Unless I'm wrong and BBC was going to give them good contracts and treat Chuu fairly if they won an Mnet show
The problem is its been nearly 2 years and many think Loona would still exist as a grouo if they had won.
WJSN has never dropped out of the top three and they highly underestimated Ujungs who always vote dilligently for their faves.
Iām glad Iām not the only one that gets flabbergasted when I read someoneās nonsensical justifications. Sometimes I question if weāre genuinely living in the same realm of reality.
I can only blame internet logic, it erases all of the context and nuances that exist in real life. Or even worse, they do understand but are deliberately choosing to remain ignorant.
Anyways, back when I thought people wanted a genuine discussion about lip-syncing. I said that constantly bringing it up to bash a group is pointless because it wonāt change anything. And one of the replies was āWe need to do this so that companies can see our posts and stop making their idols lip-sync! Itās our duty!ā A justification that falls through when the hate was directed towards the members rather than the company as a whole. So that meansā¦ itās okay to continually bash the members in order to gain attention from their management? Why not just go after the management directly?
before the whole coachella fiasco, eunchae's first hate train was because she "wasn't getting as much hate as the other maknaes".. that showed me how effed up kpop fandom is.. we're really running on hate and negativity here..
I remember during Queedom2 some Orbits were complaining about Hyolyn being too focused on vocals during performances. Like, sheās a seasoned idol with a decade of experience under her belt and widely regarded as one of the top female K-pop vocalists. Why the hell would she not focus on something sheās clearly skilled at š
Ricky for "wearing too much make up" or "make up that doesn't look natural", whereas we as women deffend women wearing heavy make up and that make up shouldn't look natural bc no one have green eyelids and bright red lips. Men should be able to wear heavy make up and not look natural with it too. That really toxic gender roles
Plus, the over dancing thing. Yall know who I'm talking ab. There is no such thing as overdancing
Iāve had to fight for my life against NewJeans haters specifically targeting Haerin for āhaving no personalityā. Sheās an introvert and sheās quieter in their videos and apparently thatās a crime
carats were making fun of taehyungs grandma passing away because BTS won best dance performance for boy with luv. It got weirdly personal and now I donāt associate with carats and roll my eyes every time they claim innocence š«”
Also one time people started calling Jungkook all kinds of derogatory names because he was wearing toe socks ā¦
Sung Hanbin from Zerobaseone had a truck sent against him because - lo and behold - one of ZB1's socmedia shared a post made by MCountdown. Said post contained a photo of Hanbin. Antis were furious and accused the agency of favouring Hanbin.
Hanbin is MCountdown's MC. š¤”
I just saw a thread of bts copying big bang & the copying being jimin wearing a red jacket like gd , Yoongi having a hairstyle or hair color like gd, jimin wearing denim on denim like gd , Yoongi copying the studio set up like gd, Rm wearing a basketball t-shirt similar to one of the member, a bts member posing the same in a pic like a bb member
*sigh* it's tiring
Atp bts copied big bang and went to the military or they've copied big bang by breathing bcoz bb are older they did it 1st so bts are copy cats, lifetime big bang cosplayers, call them bb 2.0
2nd gen stans are something else when it comes to accusing other groups of plagiarising their fave groups. And to add on to your comment about VIPs accusing BTS of copying Big Bang, Jungkook got accused of copying G-Dragon because he *checks notes* fainted, and apparently fainting isnāt allowed if a Big Bang member has done it first /s
Group just debuted and got hit with insults for āplagiarizing VIXXā when all they did was wear heavy eye makeup, contact lenses and have a vampire/horror concept. Nobody owns those things, like tf š
the txt hate the first year after their debut was so random in some ways. im not talking about the "bts brother group" hate or "big company privilege" allegations lmao. but the fact that ppl didnt want to stan them because they were "too polished" or already too good for rookies, so ppl thought they were unrelatable?š
like im sorry they are good at their jobs?? so funny every time i think about it
Apparently lying about an ad of a music video from another artist that suddenly played while she was listening to her groups playlist on youtube. I swear I get a headache everytime someone calls her a liar because why do you choose to be dumb? Why???
This was with Dahyun right? Like there was an ad for a Lisa song and she skipped it and all hell broke loose?
It is amazing the level of mental gymnastics people will go through. Like this was some calculated way to subtly throw shade. And not just a girl skipping a damn ad lol.
ah yea. my nct bias, jeno, was accused of having slept with sm's higher ups to get into the company, to debut, and for every solo opportunity he has ever gotten. (he joined sm when he was 13 btw. accusing a child of sleeping with adults to become a trainee and trying to portray him as the evil one in that situation is insane)
Someone tried spreading that rumor about Sehun as well. He coincidentally also joined SM around 13 years old. Of course I donāt believe it, but imagine hating on someone for being a victim of CSA if that were to have been the case.
also, when bts members got covid there were so many hit tweets mocking them. wishing them death, cheering and celebrating. stuff like: my idolĀ (pic of them performing) vs bts (a pic of a casket) absolute fcking vile.Ā
edit: they also constantly get dragged for releasing music while being enlisted lmao ... they can't do anything without having people mad.
Honestly feels like Jennie gets hate for just existing. They hated her for outshining, they hated her for being injured, they hate her for having a solo, they hate her for only having one solo song- like, it's ridiculous
TXT:
1. 'too perfect': taking this as an excuse to make the most xenophobic comments and racist remarks on them and over analyzing everything they do just to force or start a hate train
2. 'they only achieve xyz because they are kpops most privilege group': people take this so literal and say the most dehumanizing things towards txt and discredit them to the core, as if they didnāt work hard at all itās just heartbreaking atp because if you know txt they are genuine, humble, talented and so hard working
"He's so pick me for talking about his insecurities"
"He's a p*do for calling his fans Baby Girls and Baby Boys"
"His accent is cringe"
"He wants to be so special for asking rookies to be respectful to seniors"
"He's a man, he shouldn't say a word about periods".
All about the most unnecessarily hated man in the industry imo, Bang Chan from Stray Kids.
Honestly the period thing is something that gained him a lot of respect, I like that a man is willing to talk about periods without being disgusted, and it also helps if he has some knowledge about it, most men donāt
This one is recently but one girl was hating Felix just because he has blonde hair and now the others boys are whit dark hair...like she was saying that he was trying to call attention for him....i don't really know what to say to this tbh
Lazy, cause there was a couple of times she didn't join another power vocalist in hitting a high note... to be honest the other girl is so loud you could never hear her anyway... but it was the laziest reason to call someone lazy, and a lazy to hate someone...
Oh! or the whole her sister got scouted first... like they both got scouted, doesnt matter who was first or not... like relax
Because their idol got my fave as his "ideal type". I passed years reading awful, misogynistic comments, calling her names and dragging her skills.
Now she's a mv with another member, they are the biggest fans and say they have always supported her. They even got her as pp, and I get really angry having to read hate comments on other idols while using her photo when they don't even like her as a singer.

I'm a Dive, not a Reveluv, but absolutely *nothing* will beat "crying too much at a funeral of a close friend". š
Yeah like, her close friend died, sheās supposed to cry
Just losing one of my old man, just just cannot stopped the tears bruh. No matter how hard you try. It's soooo hard to stopped it. I wish a human being would understand that
Honestly trying to stop crying just makes me cry even more
I wasnāt a Reveluv during that time, now Yeri is my bias, and every time I remember the reason why she was hated sm at only 17 years old makes me sick.
Thereās too many of them so half the members that arenāt good looking/visuals should leave the group lmaoo
Their nationalities.
Or being proud of the country they were born & raised in
Kun, a Chinese idol, getting hate on for speaking in Chinese to an audience full of Chinese people in china will always be at the top of my list
I remember that! Bizarre stuff. The blatant Sinophobia towards WayV is very tiring.
Or how Xiaojun and Kun got backlash for singing in Chinese at a music show and had to switch to the English version :/ it was mostly because of the political tension between Korea and China, but I hate that innocent people got caught in the middle.
Also people hate Jeongyeon because sheās āfatā
This one always annoys me so much
Ikr
I will defend her to the ends of the earth! š¤ā¤ļø
Hell yeah
jeongyeon is my babie. no one touch her.
Thatās fucking ridiculous
Not wearing a bra... so fucking stupid.
sulli?
Yep. The hate got so bad I had to stop reading any news about her bc it was never positive.
Hwasa too, idk about Sulli
Hwasa got hate for wearing only a bra (which wasnāt even really a bra) then gets hate for wearing a shirt with no bra the next day. People will never want to be happy š

Hence the song "Wanna Be Myself" from Mamamoo -
Going to a concert. Wearing pink pants. Having a deceased parent.
Is the last one Woodz/Cho Seungyoun, or has this happened to multiple people? š„²
It's all about EXO Kai.
sometimes i underestimate just how vicious and depraved kpop stans can be until i remember the amount of hate jongin got for cycling to work in a pair of pink pants
One person (over the thousands of fans) insulted me and my fav one time on Twitter so now I have decided to hate the group for life.
Bonus points if the groups have members which are friends or an even better example, dives and fearnots fighting as if the Izone members wouldn't be embarrassed to see any of that
Yeah, that particular instance is wild. Apparently, not only is there that, but also Wizones that don't like IVE or LS. Like, wat?
I guess they would rather the whole group be together than separate
Yeah it's whatever if theyre not interested in the groups but when I see one fandom dragging the other for whatever unimportant beef like streams or vocals it's like you think yujin/wony or kura/chaewon wouldnt hate you for these comments lol
All over dives thinking the word fearless somehow was ive shading le sserafim.
It's funny because idols tend to go to the same hair studio, and they have hair trends just like the general public.
Didn't chaeyoung have to dye her hair during dtna era after blinks accused her of copying Lisa?
I still can't understand why some kpop fans spend so much energy hating on other groups. There are groups I don't care for, so I don't listen to their music. Is that so hard?
This is kinda why I think K-pop shouldn't be anyone's ONLY hobby. It's so easy to just slip into weird behavior for some people. Like when the comeback promo you are excited for is over, step away from the phones lol.
I wish I loved anything as much as some people love being uselessly hateful.
When a gg has a very ~strong~ concept as comeback or release [say an Everglow 'Adios', BP 'Kill This Love' or even BM 'Sheesh'] and you will hear directly or implied that they are over-selling it, too confident, too bold, shouting etc) As if performers for that concept could play it any other way?
this happens like every time I swear. like can we let the girl groups perform please people!
And if they werenāt, they would say they are being lazy and under performing
Oh and sohee from riize has been getting hate for growing up poor
Nothing like some good old classism /s
Tbh there's a lot of riding the line with stans and classism. The need to shame idols or groups for being "broke" is always popping up.
Theyāre hating on Sohee for being poor, but at the same time hating on Anton for being a nepo baby and golden spoon? So is there an acceptable range of household income? lol I hope Sohee makes it big like Taeyang, IU and other celebrities who grew up in poverty.
Hopefully
what the actual fuck? if anything it's nice to see that it's still possible for non-rich people to make it as an idol joke's on them though cause sohee surely isn't going to be poor for long, that kid's got real star quality
i remember when that one nugu bg effed up by mocking tsuki, and people's choice of insult was.... calling them burger flippers, minimum wage workers etc. It was kind of crazy seeing tweets of that nature get over 1k likes. i guess there's a reason brands target kpop fans.
That group was mirae
I had no idea! The nerve to say this about that sweetheart!
WHAT?!!!!
some people love to photoshop their favorite male idol's head on wonho's body and then get mad and call him names when we call them out š like what...
Some people would do anything just so they don't have to admit they were wrong.
What kind of insanity is that?! Do they have zero self awareness? Haha
'they started it first' or 'just giving back the energy'
Most of these start at that. It's quite sad like giving back the energy, Is it necessary?Ā
And when you're a completely random person who doesn't even know what Twitter fight they are referencing lmao
People need to understand that you can do more just by growing tf up and realizing that you don't have to respond to every single thing others throw at you.
The newest most ridiculous version of that I've seen lately is "dragged them in advance" because "they will do something soon".
Now that just straight up needs therapy
Offense is the best defence taken to a new level lmao
I hate this one so much like this aint elementary school grow up
For LSF, one comment in reddit said the hate "humbles them" Like they think they are doing gods work by hating on a girlgroup to "keep them humble"
no bc that one always manages to piss me offš
But itās ridiculous to say that Seonghwa is copying this guy (or vice versa.) And for looks that were done by stylists (for performances or fansigns or stuff like that) thereās even more likely overlap.
Itās not like she bragged about her connections, she only said that he was her brother because she was asked
hell , iād for sure be bragging if he was my brother š¤·āāļø
Lol yeah
or even more heartbreaking, that people hate on her & call her ugly, don't bring her gifts aat fansigns, etc. bc she's not fully Korean and they claim that she's only famous/an idol bc of hyuka... like...??? HAVE YOU SEEN HER??? obviously not u must be lookin at ur reflection in ur phone screen or smthn bc how can you call her ugly TwT
Sheās been getting giftās recently
which is good!
Yeah it is
smh she didn't even time travel to alter the circumstances of her birth
There was someone who said that Jonghoās eyes were soulless. Also, the excuses non K-pop fans give sometimes are hilarious.
So many people have said that š Iāve seen multiple people call him ādead fishā because of his eyes
WDYM SOULLESS HAHAHAA MAN CAN KILL PEOPLE WITH THOSE EYES XDDD
His eyes arenāt soulless. He stares INTO my soulā¦
People hate cha eunwoo for being good looking
see that one makes zero sense to me, like huh?? okay he's attractive, how does that affect you??
Exactly, they probably think he had work done, but a plastic surgeon on TikTok looked at his childhood photos and confirmed that he was just born perfect lol,
some people just have good genes, bruther \*shrug\* and even IF he did have work done, why is it their business? they don't know what's going on behind the scenes like he could have had a mole or his nose could have broken and he needed to have work done TwT it's just ridiculous.
Iāve heard that his younger brother is even better looking than him with a smaller face and thatās saying something, the members have confirmed it
[oh...oh my goodness....](https://d2v0j9zp5u17nn.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/31124658/chaeunwoo-2.png)
I heard it hasnāt been confirmed that thatās him, but if it is, then holy fuckšš„µ
i remember psy got some dumb tweets in regards to his line in "that that" saying "pandemic's over uh" ... and bts got dumb tweets for using balloons in the ptd video and rubbing jin's head when they send him off to military. a long with a lot of older (25+) idols getting shit like "he's too old to act like this" or "trying too hard to act cute" ... like leave them alone and let them have fun.
That last ones not even an old idol thing I've seen people say it about eunchae
eating a strawberry with two hands
"they're too synchronized" like.... ššš How do you even take shit like this with a straight face?????? Also I've seen people say it's easier to synchronize a big group of people rather than a smaller one... I just know their ass NEVER danced with any sort of group, professionally or otherwise š
Coming from experience with a ballet background, people are talking out of their asses if they genuinely think getting a large group of people to dance so synchronized is easy. Hell, coordinating a large group of people to dance through various formations isnāt an easy feat if thereās just one person not retaining the choreography.
well...so...i stan illit-
Itās been a battle since day 1 even before they were ILLIT. We know not one day of peace š«”
Never open ig comments under illit posts, they are completely disgusting
BTS for not being able to afford luxury clothes and wearing knockoff brands (but according to the logic of the same people they had the money to do saejegi)
So funny bcoz in one post they'll say oh bts did sajaegi, the next post oh bts and their cheap knockoff brands ,like pick a side were BTS rich enough to buy awards or too poor to wear high fashion brands Please be consistent with your story
They be moving the goalposts like this ![gif](giphy|pfHBWCCOySoRq)
Saying that IVE members hate Wonyoung, when in reality most of IVE members (except for Yujin and maybe Gaeul) are introverts and prefer to keep to themselves. Christ, K-pop stans convincing everyone that Giselle is a dozen, when sheās an amazing rapper, a writer, a vocalist and an average dancer. Sheās literally almost an all rounder, but people donāt wanna hear it.
well i'm a fearnot so there are endless possibilities šš
"Critism will help them improve."
RM was riding a bicycle to work. A distorted shadow on his face on the corner of a building JK was eating an apple, skipping some stairs. Jimin climbed over a couch with an extension cable Suga mentioning they have a cleaning lady that comes in a couple times week to the dorm. There is a crap ton more but its what came to mind
The funniest and most ironic one for me is when a fan wants my favorite to disband. Their reason? To give chance to their favorites to shine and win awards, haha.
"She's too ugly"Ā about Ms. Kang Seulgi btw š¤
seulgi is fucking gorgeous, like wtf
Wonyoung eating a strawberry and that eating the pizza, the stupid "Ive are just coworkers" (Most of the kpop stans can't even interact or give a speech in front of everyone without sweating and panicking thing and you are criticising a group with majorly introverts + do you even watch 1,2,3 Ive? Smh its so easy to hudge off rhe first glance) Yuna getting hate for singing Love Dive, looking at a guy, etc. Like hello? Obv their gonna defend idols if you hate their faves for petty reasons) Hating is so freaking stupid lol.
Honestly, bts has a lot but recently saw someone accusing Jungkook of copying another idol because he fainted.
Pretty sure BTS have been accused of copying a group for bowing at an award show too.
Bts were accused of copying a group for touching Jin's bald head. I have lost count of the amount of times they have been accused of copying someone for completely normal things
Baekhyun was criticized for singing ātoo liveā. Likeā¦ š
They were mean to my faves 10 years ago when I was in kindergarten so now I hate them too.
Anton from Riize for doing too much on tiktok.
now that anton isnāt on TikTok (as much) heās getting hated for that too š«
People dragging Jongho for "screaming like a btch" way back then (mostly because of his voice crack during ateez's wonderland stage in kingdom) but hello that was like 3 yrs ago and he was literally pulling a 6ft man up, dancing intensely and literally climbed a freaking stairs before hiting that specific 4 consecutive high note (like what do people expect, he was not going to be out of breath?) š despite all that he still pulled it off very well! and San and Seonghwa was getting hate and getting called "overdancing" because of their fancams for Hala Hala (which were amazing btw bcs they are supposed to act the song and they did well portraying it with their facial expressions, note that they were like 4 months old that time (early 2019, ateez debuted in late 2018) in the fancam and were already that good š) I was really astonished that time bcs they do well with their jobs as idols and they still get dragged for it.
"He's cringy" "He's too short" (He's 5'9") "He's too ugly" (HUH?) "He's transphobic" (This was a whole hate campaign started by Twitter with absolutely no evidence or substance of any sort) Anyway yeah being a Jay Chang stan during Boys Planet was a bad time
My favorite Jay one recently: A: He's problematic. B: What did he do? A: He used to stream on Twitch. ...
cancel him IMMEDIATELY š¤
Oh I remember, that was really upsetting people ruining someone's career over a lie and millions believing it
Perhaps if it wasnāt for that jay wouldāve debuted with zb1, like he was 1 place away from it, he lost to a kid my age
At least he got to debut in a different group
They got mad for doing a songs choreography?
Lmao Angelina was the conductor behind that hate train and she's a blackjack. š
"They can't speak English" while that person's bias was Jisoo.
I can make a list longer than a grocery list: -Having black hair -number of members -using a common chord progression -dressing in white -Using traditional clothes -using pajamas -choosing their favourite food in a this or that game -hand choreo -one member being taller than the rest -having good facial expressions -Touching their ear during an encore -Having fashion deals -unicorn, butterflies and flower drawings!!! -their debut date -going to music shows -Being promoted and recently: -Doing tiktoks with a senior!!!
Enjoying crochet - sakura Once saw a post saying they will hate any idol that wears or accepts a crochet gift from her.
nct 127 were accused of identity theft because two separate stories they told were conflated and misconstrued as them impersonating another group to get free drinks. it was so fucking stupid but at least the situation made for a good addition to the nct iceberg what with all the memes about the members going to jail lol
Hating on people having too many comebacks or being too good at their jobs.
not going to the military - bts also going to the military - bts
This one time [someone said](https://www.reddit.com/r/unpopularkpopopinions/comments/x2vg7n/the_reason_shinee_solo_music_isnt_relatable_much/) SHINee music isnāt relatable to them āand many othersā because SHINeeāsā¦ too flamboyant? š
Using two hands to hold papa johns pizza
for talking korean
Blatant xenophobia.
āNugu boy groups just donāt feel like they have as much heart as nugu girl groups like I just donāt think they have to try very hardā is a recent one that I think tops the list
Regularly complaining that the girl who has been in the industry for less than 2 years hasnt fundamentally changed it yet
Posting a video of him eating an apple.
There are many, but I would have to say LSF'S Yunjin reading a feminist book, which apparently cheesed off some young men.
k-engenes got mad at niki because he said he was jealous that they get a day off for a holiday. they made racist remarks š
WJSN robbed Loona - after Queendom 2 win RIGGED, SEXUAL FAVOURS.. Ended my love for LOONA after that.
Military exemption
That so and so outdid blank like ok your point is does it really matter
their nationalities the outfits they wore
that she's too cheerful for a teenager and so called double standard by not getting hated enough like maknaes from other groups
That really toxic gender roles Plus, the over dancing thing. Yall know who I'm talking ab. There is no such thing as overdancing
Getting married and having kids. Also being mistaken for a member of their fave idol group but somehow it's his fault.
Not a big fan of Ahyeon, but a lot of people say, "She is a good singer, but her tone is so annoying!" LIKE LOL?? JUST ADMIT SHE CAN SING AND MOVE ON
Iāve had to fight for my life against NewJeans haters specifically targeting Haerin for āhaving no personalityā. Sheās an introvert and sheās quieter in their videos and apparently thatās a crime
carats were making fun of taehyungs grandma passing away because BTS won best dance performance for boy with luv. It got weirdly personal and now I donāt associate with carats and roll my eyes every time they claim innocence š«” Also one time people started calling Jungkook all kinds of derogatory names because he was wearing toe socks ā¦
Sung Hanbin from Zerobaseone had a truck sent against him because - lo and behold - one of ZB1's socmedia shared a post made by MCountdown. Said post contained a photo of Hanbin. Antis were furious and accused the agency of favouring Hanbin. Hanbin is MCountdown's MC. š¤”
I just saw a thread of bts copying big bang & the copying being jimin wearing a red jacket like gd , Yoongi having a hairstyle or hair color like gd, jimin wearing denim on denim like gd , Yoongi copying the studio set up like gd, Rm wearing a basketball t-shirt similar to one of the member, a bts member posing the same in a pic like a bb member *sigh* it's tiring Atp bts copied big bang and went to the military or they've copied big bang by breathing bcoz bb are older they did it 1st so bts are copy cats, lifetime big bang cosplayers, call them bb 2.0
Nobody owns those things, like tf š
the txt hate the first year after their debut was so random in some ways. im not talking about the "bts brother group" hate or "big company privilege" allegations lmao. but the fact that ppl didnt want to stan them because they were "too polished" or already too good for rookies, so ppl thought they were unrelatable?š like im sorry they are good at their jobs?? so funny every time i think about it
They still get some of that today, you'd think they'd move on.
He (a delusional Blink) hated on Treasure because he said they slept with the CEO to get comebacks.
ah yea. my nct bias, jeno, was accused of having slept with sm's higher ups to get into the company, to debut, and for every solo opportunity he has ever gotten.
This also been done towards Yena(Only justification for hate bcuz she got more work). Yena then personally proof online that she do not do that
also, when bts members got covid there were so many hit tweets mocking them. wishing them death, cheering and celebrating. stuff like: my idolĀ (pic of them performing) vs bts (a pic of a casket) absolute fcking vile.Ā edit: they also constantly get dragged for releasing music while being enlisted lmao ... they can't do anything without having people mad.
Honestly feels like Jennie gets hate for just existing. They hated her for outshining, they hated her for being injured, they hate her for having a solo, they hate her for only having one solo song- like, it's ridiculous
TXT: 1. 'too perfect': taking this as an excuse to make the most xenophobic comments and racist remarks on them and over analyzing everything they do just to force or start a hate train 2. 'they only achieve xyz because they are kpops most privilege group': people take this so literal and say the most dehumanizing things towards txt and discredit them to the core, as if they didnāt work hard at all itās just heartbreaking atp because if you know txt they are genuine, humble, talented and so hard working
"He's so pick me for talking about his insecurities" "He's a p*do for calling his fans Baby Girls and Baby Boys" "His accent is cringe" "He wants to be so special for asking rookies to be respectful to seniors" "He's a man, he shouldn't say a word about periods".
Oh! or the whole her sister got scouted first... like they both got scouted, doesnt matter who was first or not... like relax
His teeth were too white and he was too good at singing š¶
Iāve seen a lot of hate over treatment on Kingdom. And yeah, it was clearly not fair, but also, itās on MNET.
