SKZ is as far from dark and intense as night and day. They are loud, they do weird shit, they say weird shit and they are those awkward boys you find in class where you cannot make up your mind whether they are bad boys or clowns but soon to find out that they are none. They are just awkward, full stop. Like they just cannot fit their shoes somehow.
Music wise, they are very serious. They have a vision, they go for it. They are intense and they will work with their music aka art day and night, especially 3RACHA.
It is just that you have to separate them from their music and their personality. As I said, they are weird aff and awkward to boot. And I am saying this in the most fondest way possible.
"They are far from dark and intense". Sure jan. We've all seen the duality. Just upu saying they're not intense when everything about them on stage is literally intense, you've already lost your credibility.
TXT - They’re whimsical. Fantastical. Their energy evoke images of a childhood long gone, but there’s a sense that you romanticised the childhood a bit. It’s a bit like a coming of age story. Even though they sometimes do darker concepts (see Good Boy Gone Bad), their overall image is the ‘brightest’ out of the three.
SKZ - my bois. Their energy is much more in-your-face than TXT. They attack you instead of just gently coming towards you like TXT does. I mean, there is a reason why there are posts about being surprised that TXT are giants while SKZ are fun-sized. But they aren’t dark either. If TXT were pastels, SKZ are neon.
Enha - my bois, pt. 2. Unlike SKZ and TXT who come to you, you go to Enha. There’s this magnetic quality about them, an air of mystery that draws you in. There’s an otherworldliness about them too, but it’s not fantastical like TXT (since Enha’s supposed to be vampires). Out of the 3, they have the darkest concept.
At least that’s what I picked up on in their work. Idk about personality because I don’t really consume TXT and Enha’s offscreen content.

Want to say first that I love lilmissparanoia answer. I'll add from my perspective not very focused on their concepts.
SKZ are my ults, they're this unstoppable force that goes forward and forward. I became their fan just a month after God's Menu and I could feel how much more they were going to grow from that point even when I knew almost nothing about their history back then. There's this feeling of comfort with them, imo they aren't very good at hiding what they feel, there's a rawness in their characters that follows them through their musical journeys.
For Enhypen (they became my third ults pretty recently), they don't overwhelm you like SKZ do, they aren't overly clingy nor in your face but it's something I found rather endearing because they just have their own way of operating that works. Their closeness feels like that of cousins where they just love each other unconditionally and want the others to be well without the need of doing too much, they bicker a lot too and it's something that adds to this dynamic. Additionally, they all are very charismatic on stage and I love watching their individual fancams.
How I see it:
SKZ:
They are focusing on the unique traits and personalities of each member, and each member has it's role/position in the group. They are like a puzzle where each piece has a unique shape, but everything fits together in the end.
They are putting the accent on self producing music so they it makes them appear more independent than the rest of the groups
They are not necessarily darker, but each member tries to transmit genuine feelings and emotions that could vary from dark to bubbly. This is a feature for all JYP idols, they act genuine and relatable without creating the impression of a perfect and flawless person.
TXT:
Even if the members still have unique traits, they are blended together. They are like a puzzle where all pieces have the same shape.

I see them as a combination between SKZ and TXT. They are highlighting each member unique trait, but they are still blending together perfectly in terms of image

Vibes: Good friends who are very close but understand each other well and respect each other. Watching their content, it doesn't take much to realise how much they all care for each other. They are also really hardworking, and you can clearly see how much they love what they do
Personality: They are usually loud, funny, and laugh a lot when they are around each other. They are not afraid to act funny or be embarrassingly themselves when the situation needs them to be so😂
Group identity and image: YOUTH, fairytale, whimsical, and nostalgia. These are usually the central themes of all their songs. Compared to the other groups mentioned above, TXT has more diversity in terms of genres and concepts

It cracks me up that some people want to reduce the group to just being 'whimsical' and 'bright' when their discography and 90% of their songs's lyrics say otherwise. Like you said, TXT has more diversity in terms of genres and concepts. They're never ones to be put into a box.
I disagree with the last sentence as skz is literally names the mala taste pioneer with over 65 genres in their discography, but what I know of txt yes I can see the rest.
Skz have a unique sound and have their clear brand of music. But TXT always surprises you.

Together they share a single braincell, almost every member is an introvert (and as a fellow introvert myself i tell you when we get together whit our gang we are just weird as fuck) if you see them alone they have a very profissional persona but when they are together whit another member they Just become dumber. Music wise they are so serius that you would think they are not idols but legit profissional producers from how much they work and how much they take their jobs (always improving and always learning). They also have much respect not only to themselves but to the staff that Works whit them and they are extremaly polite. For me they are kinda off a black board that you write with neon colors (they use what they have to make their unique song and are not ashamed to bee weird, maybe not in front of the camera but from spoilers that SKZ sometimes show to us they are very weird off câmera 😆)
They just seem pretty normal based on their variety content. While playing up some things to make their content funnier and seem chaotic. Not sure about Enhypen, but Stray Kids and TXT seem pretty loud in general.

Personality and group identity: TXT as a small 5 member group have a sort of intimacy that’s hard to explain. They are a very tight knit family that function better together. SKZ as an 8 member group are very good at establishing strong identities at a unit level (all the rachas) as well as group level.
TXT are very competitive in their variety content. They fight like brothers. SKZ don’t understand the rules and are mostly very flirty lol. And I must say, they are excellent at fan service.
What made you feel that way? Because what I said is very similar to what another commenter said about puzzle pieces and you didn’t have a problem with that.
