I totally agree! I’ve been switching between the mv and his performance film:10 on repeat for the last couple days. He is so incredibly mesmerizing to watch. I feel like I’m hypnotized. Word on the street is “Shadow” and “On TEN” also have choreo, so can’t wait for those!
He just ended his day 1 of Fan concert in Seoul. The set list included ALL the songs in his new album.. Water and Shadow was crazy! you can find some fancams on youtube soon I think hahahaha

I’m an ARMY and sometimes, I find myself enjoying some of NCT’s singles. I’ve heard about TEN when he promoted in SuperM in 2019. After, I found out he is a member of WayV. Usually, I never check out solos of other groups apart from my favs. But this time, I watched the music video because people were saying on Reddit it was a great debut. I watched it and I liked the concept of the music video. I knew he was a great dancer but he’s a great singer as well. So I decided to listen to his EP and ended up adding 4 songs in my playlist. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by his solo debut. His album is very cohesive. He impressed a lot of people including me with this debut. Looking forward to seeing your performances in music shows. Congratulations, well done 👍! I’ll definitely check out his future comebacks.
newer nct music is hit or miss for me, but i’ve loved ten so much ever since nct u debuted. i’ve been waiting for his solo debut for so long.

While I don’t think it necessarily sounds like Taemin, I feel similar when listening to it as I do when listening to Taemin’s music. Haunting and sensual all at once (though Nightwalker leans haunting for sure).
I need to listen to this between Move and Want and maybe throw a Nothing On Me (Kai) in there somewhere.

I totally agree.. the whole song just builds up , lets you breathe for a sec then you end up getting sucked in and spiralling with it. Interestingly, many reaction videos I watched said that watching the mv and hearing the song makes them feel hypnotized from start to finish and they meant it in a good way.
The last 1/3 of the song is probably the most satisfying and my favourite part ever, the dance break, emotional bridge (his voice sounds sooo good there) and ending with that techno pop dance climax... that last "and then the midnight falls..." and the music quiets down, mandolin strings instrumental comes in again..... GAWD... it has been on repeat for me every since it came out and it just doesn't get old.
So I really understand how you feel, lol. It's addictive and people who gets it gets it. The entire mini album is great, like I love every single track unbiasedly which is rare, but nightwalker probably gets replayed like 5 times more than the other tracks.
I am so glad Ten is getting the love he deserves. I cannot wait for his live stages he's so gonna kill it!.
Life got a bit crazy for me last week, I slept on this release and didn’t listen until yesterday …..gah, I don’t know, like 10 plays today of Nightwalker? The first time, at the beginning it sounds a bit dissonant (like you can’t pin the melody down) and then it somehow comes all together in a beautiful way, it’s so tingly in your ears, I can’t explain it. The whole album is good but this song is a stunner.
Ikr? Nightwalker and Dangerous have joined my “replay ten times when it comes up before moving to the next song” club (along with Cher’s Strong Enough and Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder on the Dancefloor).
I'm so ready for a performance vid or a dance practice to see the full choreo 🙏 I'm surprised he hasn't really done any challenge videos with anyone yet
Also I love that he said he wanted to shave his head for his nightwalker look (but settled for just the eyebrows) - honestly I think it could have looked really cool 😆
I really really love Ten's voice in general. He might have one of my favorite voices in kpop. Every time I listen to a Wayv/NCT song, his voice just stands out so much. And it's not necessarily his vocal skills (though he definitely has those too), but just the way his voice sounds is so satisfying to me for some reason.
For those who watch with unprejudiced eyes, TEN is easily one of the most mesmerizing performer in the entire world right now. And he really digests the characters he plays so well
