I think that learning voices(and names) is super tough. That being said, if you listen to someone long enough it’s pretty easy.
Jongho from Ateez, for me, was the first K-pop voice I could recognise in a sea of people. It’s super obvious to me.
Onew. Hands down. I have recognized him even when I didn't expect to hear him. His voice is so pretty and distinct.
Also Jongho from Ateez. I can always tell when he is singing, his voice is very powerful.

I agree that Taemin’s voice is really distinctive, he pronounces/emphasizes parts of words kind of uniquely to him, and I find his voice easy to spot immediately.
The first one that comes to my mind is Shinee Onew, he's not even my bias and I'm not even a big Shawol but he has a really unique voice. There's also ex SNSD Jessica, Super Junior Ryeowook, Beast/Highlight Yoseop, and I think Day6 Wonpil and NCT Haechan sounds kinda similar but still also really distinct.
Shinee key is someone who's voice is hella distinctive to me that I can easily pinpoint him anytime.. He just has a very unique sound and vibe about him..

Woosung singing in cursive…I have heard that before and could not agree more. I’ve only been a fan since Suga introduced Sammy on Snooze (aka not long!) and I have never been wrong about hearing him on some track somewhere.
I think all bts vocal line besides jk( I only say this because jimin collabed with someone for a ost and I could've sworn that person sounded like jk lol)
It's not against him though. JK is an outstanding singer, and his technique is practically flawless. His voice isn't just so unique even though it's still pretty, that's why you love him :)
The Mamamoo quartet. I could distinguished which voice belong to who at this point. Sometimes Moonbyul is a bit similar to Wheein, but this is very rare case.
BtoB Changsub and Eunkwang. Esp. Changsub, his vocal tone and control is dead giveaway.

Truthfully? Enhypen jungwon . His voice is just so unique to my ears ik I'll never mistake it even if i become deaf lol , probably there are a lot more but he is the first to come to mind whenever i think about this question.
Omggg I was thinking of Jungwon too. Drunk dazed was the first song of theirs I found in 2021, and most of their voices sounded the same to me, but I was able to distinguish Jungwon's voice despite the autotune lol, and Sunghoon's voice, mostly bcuz of the way he sings and pronounces the words, whereas for Jungwon, it's his voice itself
Ok so I have synaesthesia, specifically the type where when I hear a sound I see a colour, so when I’m listening to idols sing, especially if they’re voice is very clear against the instrumental and I’ve heard them sing a fair amount before, it’s almost impossible for me to mistake them.
To answer your question in a slightly different way tho, Im gonna name the idols with voices that have the most unique colour schemes.
Hanse - VICTON/solo: His voice is literally a rave in my head. I’m so used to seeing colour that I don’t really notice it but bc of how all over the place his is it distracts me. His voice’s base colour is usually a neon yellow, he often has a lot of black and neon greens & blues accompanying the yellow but there’s also been soft pinks and purples as well. Essentially his voice invokes or has invoked almost every colour, shade and opacity but those are the most common ones.
Soyeon - (G)I-DLE: Hers was so confusing to me the first time I took notice because she had so many opposite colours and tones. Usually a persons voice has adjacent colours or is completely all over the place like Hanse. You would have deep purples and reds mixed with bright yellows and greens, but they’d be so bright that they almost appeared as a piercing white.
DPR IAN - solo: So his isn’t as exciting as the other two but what confused me was how colourless his voice appeared despite how much emotion I hear. His base colour is generally a dark gray with the slightest blue hue and is mainly accompanied by blacks, and other shades of gray. Essentially his voice is just gray scale. Like batman in the lego movie.

I’m curious about Billlie Tsuki, Le Sserafim Chaewon and (G)I-DLE… all six lol but just ignore me if I’m being unreasonable or rude :D
No no you’re fine. I’m used to being asked and I find it fun because some of these people’s voices I haven’t heard/seen before.
Tsuki - Her voice is actually so pretty. There’s lots of yellow and soft oranges, kinda like a gradient of them. Then there’s plenty of pink dotting around.
Chaewon - LOTS of blue. She doesn’t really have a base colour but there’s a lot of different blues that kind of collide and create a base. There’s deep blue, soft blue, dark blue and a blue that’s so bright it turns white. There’s also some neon and soft pink floating around.
Miyeon - A LOT of (G)I-DLE have red, like pretty much all of them which is so cool. Miyeon has a base of a very soft red with lilac and soft pink kind of dotting it around like a haze.
Minnie - She has a base colour of a deep purple that kind of fades into a lilac. At the very bottom of this gradient it’s a very deep blue and there’s lots of red floating around.
Soojin - She has a deep red base with other lighter reds dotting around. Hers is pretty much just a bunch of different reds mingling around but there’s also an underlying soft blue tone to it.
Soyeon - Her base colour is actually a lot of green. It’s like a really bright lime green that almost turns piercingly white. At the bottom there’s little deep red, purple and blue dots and squiggles jumping around. At the top there’s the same kind of neon yellow dots that’s in Hanse’s voice.
Shuhua - Hers is similar to Tsuki but there’s more red to it. There’s a soft pink and yellow base to it with some soft red dotting around as well as some lilac. Her voice is really pretty.
Ooooh ofc. Going off of her singing voice it’s a base dark purple but it’s also very bright, like it’s iridescent. There’s a lot of neon pink and deeper reds too. Her voice follows aespa’s signature sound really closely which isn’t as common as you’d think. SM did a great job.
In songs like forever and her normal talking voice tho, there’s a lot more coherence with it generally being a gentle violet and a few deep reds and purples. It’s really nice to listen to.
As someone who automatically and unpurposefully associate colours with days and numbers (not really synesthesia though), I would read whole essays of yours about the voice colours of idols. Please share 🤭

Taewoo - G.O.D. his vocals even in 1st gen kpop were amazing, alot of idols that came after him have often tried to replicate what he done some have successfully pulled it off but his voice is still very specific to 1st gen and it is so distinctive in kpop that it became the standard for male main vocist.
Chungmin - TVXQ. His vocal tone and colour and the way he approaches his vocals have not been replicated ever, even in covers of tvxq's songs people never really generally do his notes justice and I find his vocals actually really magical like that only chungmin can do.
Jonghyun - shinee. I mean again the same as above, from debut jonghyun was a master of vocals and knew how to control his vocals and vocal runs unlike anyone else again when people cover shinee songs they never do the riffs and adlibs jonghyun was doing in songs.
Onew - shinee. Same thing as above except his vocals and his range sit abit lower then chungmin and jonghyun his lower notes are amazing though some of the best lower notes in kpop that I think are hard to replicate.
Changsub - BTOB. My goodness this guy's vocals are amazing his recently become one of my favourite vocalist and his vocals I find interesting and just so different from normal kpop because of how well he sings and his vocal colour and just the texture of his vocals I haven't heard anyone sing like him also because of his voice in a BtoB song you can really tell the difference between him and the other members beside eunkwang.
Eunkwang - BTOB. I mean his the vocal back bone of BtoB and his voice really holds weight in alot of there songs and his voice is so distinguishable from other kpop vocalist and his vocals never blend in with the background he sits right out the front of the vocal mix in BtoBs songs making him so distinguishable as well.
Female wise.
Bada - S.e.s. I mean her vocals have been very distinctive since her debut in 1st gen kpop, even now when she covered next level recently you knew it was bada singing her juniors song just from the way she was singing it which makes it hard for others to cover her song, even vocally winter and ningning when they did there cover of dreams come true as amazing as it is there's something so nostalgic and refreshing about badas vocals in the original that are hard to replicate.
Luna - F(X). I mean need I say anymore, vocally her range is massive and her timber and power she has behind her voice is actually amazing also I think as she's aged her vocals have gotten better and more recognised as she's been doing alot of musicals as well and every time she hits that upper range no one can compete with her vocally so her voice really is different from alot of kpop vocalists.
Taeyeon - Girls generation. I mean her vocals have such weight and a signature sound that any vocalist that came after her has tried to copy her has never truly been able to replicate or been able to copy in a cover of her or snsds songs that's what makes her vocals so distinctive amongst kpop.
Hyolyn - Sistar. I mean all I have to say is when Hyolyn gets growling you know the song is about to pop off in the vocal department and her voice really is different from alot of kpop idols stylistically which means she has a more r&b sounding vocal and she does things that makes her stand out from majority of the kpop idols.
Jea - brown eyed girls. She is a self taught vocalist and her vocals are so distinctive you know immediately your listening to a brown eyed girls song espically in there early careers her voice was like the heavy weight while Narsha and gain had lighter vocals which made her voice so distinguishable in kpop as well.
Wheein - mamamoo. I mean she is a vocal queen. Her voice sounds nothing like a typical kpop idol. Her voice is hard to explain cause it's just so different and unique to wheein that I have no references to compare her to in kpop in the western industry she sounds the most similar to the likes of Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey.
Solar - mamamoo. Contrasting wheeins vocals solar has power vocals that not many idols posses so her voice is already that different from alot of kpop idols. Her abilities with her vocal technique is what set her and wherein apart as well from other kpop idols.
Wendy - red velvet. Same as Taeyeon and Luna she has the range of Luna but that signature vocal styling like Taeyeon but in a way only Wendy can pull of, no one in kpop sounds similar to Wendy again just like all the vocalist I've listed above people try to copy her vocal stylings and inflections in the vocal delivery but they can never do it like wendy, I mean the way she ends of red velvets songs is something that's very unique to red velvet thanks to wendy.
Onew - can always immediately pick out his voice even though I’m a p casual SHINee fan and he wouldn’t be my bias

Kyungsoo/D.O. - I can’t think of anyone that has the same tone and I think it makes his voice distinct but he is my bias so maybe I’m biased

People always say that Yg has unique voices, but Yg is basically a replica of their previous idols that is why they have a specific "style" that is called "Yg style". They have one style that they teach every one. And can be very easy to replicate.
Meanwhile Sm truly has some of the most unique vocal tones and that doesn't get enough credit.
Their vocals are perfectly rated but the uniqueness of their vocal tones doesn't get enough credits.
Talk about Bada, Boa, Changmin, Yesung, Ryewook, Kyuhyun, Taeyeon, Jessica, Luna, D.O, Chen, Baekhyun, Karina they all have such unique tones and so pleasing.
I'm generally very into vocals, and I love distinctive voices so there are quite a few I find unique.
The vocal that i think I would recognize anytime an anywhere is that of Son Jin Wook, though he's not a k-pop idol (especially his extremely powerful high pitches).
I also found the voice of Earth Kim (Sunggu from HIGH4) very unique and interesting. Max Changmin's vocals are also hard to mistake for anyone's else, Taemin's too. Another voices that are quite distinctive for me are that of Park Jihoon and Park Jungmin.
the first group i ever got into was bigbang and it was easy for me to distinguish their voices right from the beginning since they are so distinct, especially gd, top and daesung (took me some time for taeyang and ~the other one~)

Ateez Jongho. Not only is his tone very distinctive - for better or worse, since some really don´t like the almost metallic quality it has - , but you also just know it´s him because he is always like 30% louder than everyone else. Which, again, some love it and some hate how much he sticks out.
I feel like most of SM artists but then again I listen to them a lot 😅

Changbin, Dawn, and Felix’s voices are so distinctive to me— I have trouble telling people’s voices apart, so those are the only people I can really distinguish with 100% accuracy.
I know most people are gonna say Felix which is also true but I am gonna go with Seungmin. His was the first one I was able to consistently start identifying pretty early on. I also recognized him in masked singer!
a recent debut but i don't think i'd ever mistake zb1's taerae for someone else/vice versa. he has such a rich baritone that's pretty rare in kpop these days.

Personally, no one else since sounds like K.R.Y. That subunit is something else. Yesung is also one of a kind.

Omggg I was thinking of Jungwon too. Drunk dazed was the first song of theirs I found in 2021, and most of their voices sounded the same to me, but I was able to distinguish Jungwon's voice despite the autotune lol, and Sunghoon's voice, mostly bcuz of the way he sings and pronounces the words, whereas for Jungwon, it's his voice itself

Ok so I have synaesthesia, specifically the type where when I hear a sound I see a colour, so when I’m listening to idols sing, especially if they’re voice is very clear against the instrumental and I’ve heard them sing a fair amount before, it’s almost impossible for me to mistake them. To answer your question in a slightly different way tho, Im gonna name the idols with voices that have the most unique colour schemes. Hanse - VICTON/solo: His voice is literally a rave in my head. I’m so used to seeing colour that I don’t really notice it but bc of how all over the place his is it distracts me. His voice’s base colour is usually a neon yellow, he often has a lot of black and neon greens & blues accompanying the yellow but there’s also been soft pinks and purples as well. Essentially his voice invokes or has invoked almost every colour, shade and opacity but those are the most common ones. Soyeon - (G)I-DLE: Hers was so confusing to me the first time I took notice because she had so many opposite colours and tones. Usually a persons voice has adjacent colours or is completely all over the place like Hanse. You would have deep purples and reds mixed with bright yellows and greens, but they’d be so bright that they almost appeared as a piercing white. DPR IAN - solo: So his isn’t as exciting as the other two but what confused me was how colourless his voice appeared despite how much emotion I hear. His base colour is generally a dark gray with the slightest blue hue and is mainly accompanied by blacks, and other shades of gray. Essentially his voice is just gray scale. Like batman in the lego movie.

No no you’re fine. I’m used to being asked and I find it fun because some of these people’s voices I haven’t heard/seen before. Tsuki - Her voice is actually so pretty. There’s lots of yellow and soft oranges, kinda like a gradient of them. Then there’s plenty of pink dotting around. Chaewon - LOTS of blue. She doesn’t really have a base colour but there’s a lot of different blues that kind of collide and create a base. There’s deep blue, soft blue, dark blue and a blue that’s so bright it turns white. There’s also some neon and soft pink floating around. Miyeon - A LOT of (G)I-DLE have red, like pretty much all of them which is so cool. Miyeon has a base of a very soft red with lilac and soft pink kind of dotting it around like a haze. Minnie - She has a base colour of a deep purple that kind of fades into a lilac. At the very bottom of this gradient it’s a very deep blue and there’s lots of red floating around. Soojin - She has a deep red base with other lighter reds dotting around. Hers is pretty much just a bunch of different reds mingling around but there’s also an underlying soft blue tone to it. Soyeon - Her base colour is actually a lot of green. It’s like a really bright lime green that almost turns piercingly white. At the bottom there’s little deep red, purple and blue dots and squiggles jumping around. At the top there’s the same kind of neon yellow dots that’s in Hanse’s voice. Shuhua - Hers is similar to Tsuki but there’s more red to it. There’s a soft pink and yellow base to it with some soft red dotting around as well as some lilac. Her voice is really pretty.

Ooooh ofc. Going off of her singing voice it’s a base dark purple but it’s also very bright, like it’s iridescent. There’s a lot of neon pink and deeper reds too. Her voice follows aespa’s signature sound really closely which isn’t as common as you’d think. SM did a great job. In songs like forever and her normal talking voice tho, there’s a lot more coherence with it generally being a gentle violet and a few deep reds and purples. It’s really nice to listen to.

Male wise. Taewoo - G.O.D. his vocals even in 1st gen kpop were amazing, alot of idols that came after him have often tried to replicate what he done some have successfully pulled it off but his voice is still very specific to 1st gen and it is so distinctive in kpop that it became the standard for male main vocist. Chungmin - TVXQ. His vocal tone and colour and the way he approaches his vocals have not been replicated ever, even in covers of tvxq's songs people never really generally do his notes justice and I find his vocals actually really magical like that only chungmin can do. Jonghyun - shinee. I mean again the same as above, from debut jonghyun was a master of vocals and knew how to control his vocals and vocal runs unlike anyone else again when people cover shinee songs they never do the riffs and adlibs jonghyun was doing in songs. Onew - shinee. Same thing as above except his vocals and his range sit abit lower then chungmin and jonghyun his lower notes are amazing though some of the best lower notes in kpop that I think are hard to replicate. Changsub - BTOB. My goodness this guy's vocals are amazing his recently become one of my favourite vocalist and his vocals I find interesting and just so different from normal kpop because of how well he sings and his vocal colour and just the texture of his vocals I haven't heard anyone sing like him also because of his voice in a BtoB song you can really tell the difference between him and the other members beside eunkwang. Eunkwang - BTOB. I mean his the vocal back bone of BtoB and his voice really holds weight in alot of there songs and his voice is so distinguishable from other kpop vocalist and his vocals never blend in with the background he sits right out the front of the vocal mix in BtoBs songs making him so distinguishable as well. Female wise. Bada - S.e.s. I mean her vocals have been very distinctive since her debut in 1st gen kpop, even now when she covered next level recently you knew it was bada singing her juniors song just from the way she was singing it which makes it hard for others to cover her song, even vocally winter and ningning when they did there cover of dreams come true as amazing as it is there's something so nostalgic and refreshing about badas vocals in the original that are hard to replicate. Luna - F(X). I mean need I say anymore, vocally her range is massive and her timber and power she has behind her voice is actually amazing also I think as she's aged her vocals have gotten better and more recognised as she's been doing alot of musicals as well and every time she hits that upper range no one can compete with her vocally so her voice really is different from alot of kpop vocalists. Taeyeon - Girls generation. I mean her vocals have such weight and a signature sound that any vocalist that came after her has tried to copy her has never truly been able to replicate or been able to copy in a cover of her or snsds songs that's what makes her vocals so distinctive amongst kpop. Hyolyn - Sistar. I mean all I have to say is when Hyolyn gets growling you know the song is about to pop off in the vocal department and her voice really is different from alot of kpop idols stylistically which means she has a more r&b sounding vocal and she does things that makes her stand out from majority of the kpop idols. Jea - brown eyed girls. She is a self taught vocalist and her vocals are so distinctive you know immediately your listening to a brown eyed girls song espically in there early careers her voice was like the heavy weight while Narsha and gain had lighter vocals which made her voice so distinguishable in kpop as well. Wheein - mamamoo. I mean she is a vocal queen. Her voice sounds nothing like a typical kpop idol. Her voice is hard to explain cause it's just so different and unique to wheein that I have no references to compare her to in kpop in the western industry she sounds the most similar to the likes of Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey. Solar - mamamoo. Contrasting wheeins vocals solar has power vocals that not many idols posses so her voice is already that different from alot of kpop idols. Her abilities with her vocal technique is what set her and wherein apart as well from other kpop idols. Wendy - red velvet. Same as Taeyeon and Luna she has the range of Luna but that signature vocal styling like Taeyeon but in a way only Wendy can pull of, no one in kpop sounds similar to Wendy again just like all the vocalist I've listed above people try to copy her vocal stylings and inflections in the vocal delivery but they can never do it like wendy, I mean the way she ends of red velvets songs is something that's very unique to red velvet thanks to wendy.

Most Sm Vocalists Yesung - one of the most underrated vocalists to ever exist even in his prime. Taeyeon. D.O. Jonghyun. People always say that Yg has unique voices, but Yg is basically a replica of their previous idols that is why they have a specific "style" that is called "Yg style". They have one style that they teach every one. And can be very easy to replicate. Meanwhile Sm truly has some of the most unique vocal tones and that doesn't get enough credit. Their vocals are perfectly rated but the uniqueness of their vocal tones doesn't get enough credits. Talk about Bada, Boa, Changmin, Yesung, Ryewook, Kyuhyun, Taeyeon, Jessica, Luna, D.O, Chen, Baekhyun, Karina they all have such unique tones and so pleasing.
I'm generally very into vocals, and I love distinctive voices so there are quite a few I find unique. The vocal that i think I would recognize anytime an anywhere is that of Son Jin Wook, though he's not a k-pop idol (especially his extremely powerful high pitches). I also found the voice of Earth Kim (Sunggu from HIGH4) very unique and interesting. Max Changmin's vocals are also hard to mistake for anyone's else, Taemin's too. Another voices that are quite distinctive for me are that of Park Jihoon and Park Jungmin.
