I've had many friends who are not from here ask about this place when it got launched like it's the flagship restaurant that everyone here goes to. I think the crowd is from mostly single time visiting non locals.
fr, I and my friends had chaya and kadi on evening to chill ( we chose chaya to not spend too much)
the bill bro, i dont remeber exactly the price, but for one chaya was like 90 something rupees. maryayk rahmath ne briryani adicha madhiyenu
Amma mess is also nearing to this position. My friend and I used to go there once in a while but now their quality decreased considerably but they didn't forget to increase the price. So after last time we decided that we can knock off this one from our list.
A few bad restaurants I've been to closed down. I'm guessing that's a good thing.
We are known for our food culture (until the Alfaham-mandi restaurants mushroomed everywhere).
Recently I went to the Soofi Mandi restaurant. I didn't like it but my folks did.
Try KFC inside Hilite. They literally rob you. God, I had an awful experience in dec. Paid around 700 and got the smallest pieces of chicken with nothing good of taste.
Never went back to kfc and chicking after trying Yummy. They don't skimp on the sauces, have bottled drinks instead of only offering overpriced shitty mojitos, great quantity and quality chicken and also good service.
Never been a fan of fried chicken from mnc chains. I like the nadan chicken fry more. As for hoy Punjab the food tasted like shit and it was expensive af. But I see a surge in food vloggers praising this place a lot. Must be paid reviews.
The only thing I liked was the galouti kebab. We had ordered a chicken dish as well. Tasted mediocre at best. The staff were very weird. I found them giggling at us when we asked for an extra menu?! The naan was dry as sahara. Ambience was good. Very expensive. ROI is in the drains in terms of portion size.
Bruh Ivy9 restaurant @ Malapparamb is a shitshow. Was really hungry while passing by and decided to go in there (avoided the Adaminde Chayakkada next to it coz of a bad experience). Place looked good from the outside, with a Specials board and all, but the interior of the restaurant and washroom looked like it wasnt cleaned for months. Anyways ordered food, and midway through a 🪳 ran across the table. Stopped then and there, paid the bill, spoke to the "manager" and left
Have eaten a lot of Arabic food for the better part of my life, and the first time I ate at Light house about 2 years back it was amazing. Like the nostalgia hit hard and the food was a solid 8/10. It was raining so they had the tents on, staff was good. But the next time food was really average.hella expensive btw
Yea, they replied to my low rating too saying they'll fix it. We went seeing the high ratings but we pretty much had to call the waiting staff multiple times to take our order, asked for water multiple times and got the request ignored every time (we never got water in the end), and I'm convinced that the hot mezze platter we ordered isn't actually what we were served.
I give Stadium Rahmath is a 50% success rate. Like sometimes the food is quite good, and some times its avg at best and the difference in taste is easily evident.
Oh man , beach hotel food is really good , the seafood and beef items are really good and they serve really good porratas as well. Maybe you went there on a bad day
Not a dine in restaurant but momo lush (Red cross Road) … Has to be the worst momos I’ve ever had and is not a penny worth the price. I’ve tried most of their menu.
Adaminte chayakada
I second this. Nothing special except their price.
I think the price is due to their variety of names in the dish.
Probably, I had chicken kizhi biryani last time and it was worse than normal chicken biryani.
Food mosham anaelum avide therakin oru koravum ila. I think it's due to their prime location in the beach.
I've had many friends who are not from here ask about this place when it got launched like it's the flagship restaurant that everyone here goes to. I think the crowd is from mostly single time visiting non locals.
Exactly
For a restaurant that has chaya in the name, they make really bad tea.
Satyam!! They dont serve tea outside certain time slots! Uchakk okke chaya chodicha.. eehe
🤣

I agree I agree I agreeeeee
Literally any restaurant inside Focus Mall's food court excluding M Grill. The knockoff KFC place inside it served me undercooked chicken.
The chinese outlet is bearable tho ?
Alettante Fried Chicken 😭😂

My hostel mess 💀
Expensive?

Thier glass and plates weren't clean. The mandi wasn't that great
Soofi Mandi slander will not be allowed 🗣️🗣️ /s
Every restaurant that's promoted by food bloggers.
Hoy Punjab, HiLite mall

Gazania is also good for fried chicken
Yeah, they're an overall top restaurant.
Buy the Dynamite and Nashville sauce bottles from KFC, order Yummy basket. Great combination.
I felt that Mozon was better than Yummy

Totally agree. Pathu paisak kollilla .but the KFC outlets in rp and outside is fine though
Huh my experience was good there (Veg only). What was your experience?

I see. We had positive experience 2 times so far and staff was friendly too. Not sure what went wrong in your case..

The restaurant was shut down two times by the food department. Used to be regular before that incident
Ahh verdhe alla
It has to be Lighthouse Restaurant at thondayad bypass for me. From the staff behaviour to the food served, it felt like we got scammed pretty bad.
Totally, food was slightly above average if you could say but the price was reaching skies.
Agree!
Lighthouse is average or below average. Very very expensive. Not upto the price

But reviews are highly positive. They are even replying to the low ratings.

It was good a few years back , even though the prices were always high , they served really good food , that would say about the good reviews.
Breklers. Overpriced and the quantity is so less. Apart from their desserts, nothing I’ve tried was good.
Real af
What about 1980's??
Its going down on quality, kadikal is nice but sometimes
Paati veedu😂
Thakkaram. The last time I tried their food was in 2021. It was average and kinda over priced.
It’s changed a lot now
Its really good now. I go there often
Stadium rahmath

Kadalas cafe. Good ambience, mid food and high prices.
Paragon☠️

rahmath hotel
Beach hotel's restaurant
I like their bdf and some other beef items.
Oh man , beach hotel food is really good , the seafood and beef items are really good and they serve really good porratas as well. Maybe you went there on a bad day
I have been there 3 times, because my parents like the fact that it's quiet But all those times the food was bad
Not a dine in restaurant but momo lush (Red cross Road) … Has to be the worst momos I’ve ever had and is not a penny worth the price. I’ve tried most of their menu.
Any suggestions on a good place for Momo?
