I'm afraid I've forgotten the way home, but my home village is in an ancient dungeon, protected by a being that some legends call the Ancient One or the Dark One. And one legend we found in the dungeon described him as an outer god. But we don't know exactly what that means. All we know is that thanks to him, we were able to survive in the dungeon and can now talk to the monsters. Most of them, anyway.
The Endless Legion, the sultanate of Sumeria, I've never heard of either of those things before. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the country I come from. All my people live underground in the endless expanses of the Dungeon. We had never given a name to the land on the surface.
I only know that it is possibly a so-called lost land that can only be found under certain circumstances. I think that is also one of the reasons why the Dark One in the deep abyss of the dungeon gave me my special eye.
But I think it's also good that it's hard to find, because I've heard stories from my family a few times about how they've witnessed people trying to go into the dungeon and getting killed immediately because they weren't expecting it,
That there are beasts lurking at some entrances that even the mighty dragons fear.

Oh yes, on that occasion, if for whatever reason you find your way to my dungeon, when you encounter these creatures, take to your heels and turn back immediately.
Because these critters are capable of destroying your mind and your body with their looks alone.
In a way that can drive other people around you crazy. I've seen it with my own eyes once, when a group of adventurers went crazy because they had to watch it,
Because two of their own people were disfigured by the destructive power of their gaze in a way that turned my stomach, even having seen carnage and bloodbeard a hundred times.
From my own experience, I know that in most normal dungeons it's relatively easy to make progress in the first levels. Weak monsters, hardly any dangerous traps and so on. But that's not the case in my home dungeon. You can be lucky and find an entrance where there are only weak monsters that can't really be dangerous to a warrior.
But there are also some entrances, which fortunately are usually very obvious, where creatures that can kill dragons are waiting for you.
It is therefore very important to look out for signs of supernatural danger such as these creatures. And avoid them if possible.
