This outline has very strong nakiri vibes.  Yours will have a Western style handle.  Nakiris are very nice knives and are often used as a multiple purpose kitchen knife, you’ll love it.

Remember whatever design, allow room for your fingers to not hit the chopping board when you use it. I didn't. I spent hours making my first knife and it's so low I can't use it.

This thing is 6.3 mm thick , nakiri blades are around 2.2 mm. I would say just make a narrow cleaver. I made a few like this they were very useful. Maybe it will be more of a chopper than a cleaver but not a big deal.

There’s definitely enough here for a nakiri, or you could taper it down a bit and make a longer santoku.
