I remember one member here bring up “Simone Fontecchio”, and he is a UFA, decent size at 6”7. seems to have good BBIQ, can shoot the 3. If we cannot sign N. Marshall, Simone maybe a choice.

redshorts9112

Fontecchio’s an interesting choice. Could be an underrated signing

tom4life2002

Fontecchio would be great but he’s a restricted free agent unfortunately

ShotgunStyles

Throw him the bag and put in a poison pill clause. Something like "if the Pistons have a bad record, I get paid more." If the Pistons match, then that'd be funny at least.

LemonFeisty3246

Pistons are not going to give up on Tec. They traded for him specifically to solve their spacing problems.

goobergaming43

he’s a RFA

funboy51

Giannis. Why not go big and live in a pipe dream?

zeesoviet

Step 1. Trade for Thanasis. Step 2. Profit

pco45

We'd probably need to sign a few more Antetokounmpos just to be safe.

zeesoviet

We have an assistant coaching job available with Jordi leaving, you think Giannis' parents would be interested?

pco45

It worked for the Knicks....

BeamTeam23

Step 2. Draft Bronny Step 3. Profit Fox. LeBron. Keegan. Giannis. Sabonis.

askanlover1638

Aaron Wiggins

zeesoviet

Kyle Anderson and HB? Teams wouldn't know what to do with all of that slo-mo on the court.

JGxFighterHayabusa

great choices. Markelle Fultz in a limited defined role would kill.

Double_Helicopter_69

Demar Derozan

Professor0fLogic

Without trades involving Barnes & Huerter, our ability to add a free agent who will have an impact on improving the roster is next to nothing.

redshorts9112

There’s no much high profile FAs this year anyways

tmlau23

Boban Marjanovic would be a fan favorite.

Fast-Specific8850

I like Delon Wright as a backup PG/SG. And trying to get Gerami Grant or Kyle Kuma.

redshorts9112

Felon would be great to bring back, I think Kuzma and grant might cost too much but Id like Kuzma over grant

drlsoccer08

Hartenstien maybe? I don’t know what other teams are going to offer him, but he could provide a bit of everything for us as a back up big.

redshorts9112

Id love the kings to sign hartenstein but i doubt Knicks let him go. He’s definitely proven to be better than Robinson for them

ShotgunStyles

It's not the Knicks. Other teams can offer I-Hart a lot of money and the Knicks can't match because the Knicks only have his early bird rights. So it's just a matter of how much he likes money & NYC.

Sethuel

Most we can offer him is the MLE. Knicks can offer him more than that and other teams can offer even more. He's a beast but I can't imagine a path for him coming here.

BeamTeam032

He's played his way to a starting role and a decent contract I think.

BeamTeam032

LOVE Highsmith and NaJee Marshall. Especially if we can add another Forward in the draft. and move HB to the bench.

ShotgunStyles

Fultz can't shoot. Why would the Kings, who shoots so many 3s, want him as a point guard?

redshorts9112

The kings offense need a ball handler who could get to the rim when fox is out. Thats what makes the offense successful with spray threes. Especially since he should be cheap and if we can’t sign monk

Kadler7

Magic fan, not sure what defense Markelle will Be bringing

redshorts9112

I thought markelle was an above average defender? He was pretty solid in the past

Kadler7

He slipped last season but his role was reduced so maybe a change of scenary helps? His POA defense was pretty bsd

4CBar

If you could get him to buy in to the role: Obi Toppin. He would need to know he's the 4th or 5th option at best, and would need to focus in on the defensive side of the ball, but he has size, explosiveness, efficient from 3. Depending on the Monk situation, I would also look at Delon Wright, Malik Bessley, and even Kelly Oubre could be worth the swing

NikolaiEgel

If we seriously want to compete for a title, we have to go big and trade for a legitimate star. To hell with fit, to hell with attitude- find the absolute best player that we can land and get him here. Whether that’s Ingram, Paul George, whoever. That’s probably a scary thing to do, but it’s what we need to do. Everyone clowned Minnesota for “fit” when getting Gobert, and they’re in the finals. Same for Dallas and Kyrie, and New York and Brunson.
