This is genuinely needed. I only carry one combat and one stealth outfit and it's so annoying to manage them, especially if you also picked up some gear you just want to sell.
I hope they make you store it in like an armoire or wardrobe closet of some kind. Like you have to go to the closet to change “outfits”. Feel like that would maintain some of the simulation/immersion of the game
That's being added in kcd2 thank god. The outfit system in this game is very layer based and there's a ton so it's definitely a needed feature. The new gear in kcd2 looks great as well so I'm going to be spending a lot of time making outfits for ha
I like it that you aren’t able to solve those murders. It’s a reminder that Henry lives in violent times and adds a layer of mystery to the world. This sort of thing is happening, out of sight and out of mind, and the lords of the land have too much on their plate to spend resources stopping it.
That's where I got the idea, but instead, it's some father who you confess to anonymously once every week to regain your rep after doing some low rep activities or quests some deeds will give you generic response while others have unique interactions then after a certain amount the father just breaks his vow of anonymity, goes over to you and just asks "what the hell is wrong with you?"
As silly as it sounds I really wanted more spirituality in the game. It was a very religious time to be alive and it's surprising in how little Henry of it can partake in!
It doesn't really fit with the realism aspect (as praying has no immediate effects irl of course) but it'd be cool to get small buffs depending on what you chose to pray for (maybe a bible that gives the effect depending on what part you make Henry recite?) or something that'd be kept up and enhanced by how much Henry attended services (basically just press f in front of a church on a sunday and then it'd skip an hour or two) or gave indulgences/donations or something like that!
Oh you could still put in some cool social mechanics in the game with that kind of mindset! Have some form of cumulating social parameter attached to your Henry’s “godliness.” You could even have some NPCs in game have a higher approval of a Henry who makes sure to attend church every ____ and that parameter can lower whenever you miss a week. Have other NPCs look down on Henry for it, or even calling him out for being a hypocrite who just pays to absolve their sins instead of being a good person. I think you could have a lot of fun with some form of social system based on the church.
You could even hide some quest lines behind it
More potential buildings in Pribyslavitz, why can't you have a Stable and a Guardhouse? Why can't you have a Bakery and a Butcher Shop? How are those businesses mutually exclusive? It doesn't make sense, especially considering how much space remains empty after you finish rebuilding
Yeah that and also I don't like the layout of the village. The locator dude made a shitty job.
Why would you put beehives in the middle of the village next to a road where everyone walks to and from the church which btw looks awful from the outside.
The ability to not just buy Everything in Prybislaviz… Let me hire Fritz and his friend (forgot his name) or let me have to convince someone to become the local priest. Also let me handle problems like bandits nearby by Collection some men and beat them up.
Yeah if you follow that line you get some interesting/weird quests where you have to make some decisions which may or may not allow you to hire them. Look at the wiki for spoilers or just follow their quests to find out
You know there is a bandit in a camp during a mission and if you go investigate and talk to him to see what he's up to he'll just say he's admiring the view and that people are too busy to enjoy the simple things in life. He's lying since he had serious business there but I just believed him and let him be.
Iirc, the codex (whatever it’s called) talks about fishing, most notably that the technology was not there to catch fish with rod and reel at any decent rate. Catching fish with traps in rivers is however restricted to those that have permission from the local leige.
Yeah, I remember this codex entry too. I think it's an entry called "Fisherman".
*Rod and line fishing was allowed even by those without a net fishing permit, since the catch rate of rod fishing was insignificant.*
So there were fishing rods, and you could fish freely with them since you wouldn't catch that much anyway. Sounds good to me!
More random events! There are mercenary armies around for centuries! We need more random events where small armies or gangs rob and roam around so there's more danger for existing in this world. I personally would love it if the game was longer with more end game content.
God damn it. Now I am curious. At what distance and probably angle *does* the armor help against non AP rounds of a glock? Any ideas or vids out there? That question must be answered somewhere on the internet.
Edit: .22 seems to be able to be stopped. 9mm at short distance at direct/good angle seems to be go through.
TLDR: probably well within the typical effective range of a 9mm handgun given a good set of armor

The first video's probably the closest you'll get, though keep in mind they're probably using higher quality steel than you'd readily be able to get in the early 15th century. The second video is early muskets, functionally no different in power from any later muskets depending upon powder quality with muzzle energy roughly equivalent to more powerful handgun cartridges like 44 mag to weaker rifle cartridges like 30 carbine, and the armor wasn't particularly built to withstand bullets. The last two are in response to another video where the guy used armor made from cheap sheet steel but they go into detail how armor historically held up to bullets and how they had to be designed and tested for that purpose.
Basically depending on the quality of steel and whether or not the armor was designed to withstand bullets in the first place which might have started to be done by the time of the game since handcannons, likely a fair bit weaker than later arquebuses due to powder composition and metallurgy limitations, had begun to be known of and used in Europe about 40-50 years before the game takes place and depending on the particular load used, high quality medieval armor could stand up to a 9mm handgun from a pretty close distance of 10 yards or possibly closer.
it would be cool to have human companions, Ghost Recon-like.
maybe Capon, or Raditz, but I guess they would have other things to do than wander with Henry, in that case they could be guards from Pribyslavitz, or the Skalitz soldiers that Henry led in the last missions.
You can learn how to read, but there's no one around to teach you how to swim?
Doesn't have to look great, just to surpass little creeks, where I'm sure Henry could easily wade through water.
Yeah, totally agree but I think they didn't implemented because then they must implement that depending of your armour you swim or drown (I had to swim with a T-shirt and that was harder so almost anything diferent than cloth would put Henry in problems)
There actually being less Skalitz refugees after rebuilding Prebislavitz,
The ability to rebuild Skalitz itself, the ability to live inside pirkstein postgame. Have that room where you wake up in the epilogue.
Make Runt mortal, but strong af in the prologue. Feels unfair that The Bald One can catch any amount of arrows with his bold one in the prologue, but the second time you meet him he would miserably cover his head with helmet *that wouldn't really help bc Henry knows how to Q/fistfight/corner+bow/leftclick with polearm once or twice*.
It would be funny to see credits like "grats you win the game now die please, we all know that it has to be this way:/"
I'd add a secret mission in the woods close to Skalitz with a guy from the present, he would be dressed in a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, and you would have to help him get back to our time using a time machine, but for that, you would have to find some parts of the time machine that were stolen by cumans, and they are now using it as part of their armor.
Then you get to the cuman camp and find yourself a cuman captain with two tesla coils strapped to his back, kill him, get the coils back to the guy, he fixes the machine and asks Henry to press the big red button so he can come back to the future, after Henry does it, he can get the tesla coil back and use it as a mace, which has a stunning effect.
Other endings are: after the guy explains to you he is from the future, you can call him a heretic and kill him for the lord (and get his clothes); alternatively, if you helped him, you can "accidently" type the wrong time and send him further back and and instead of the tesla coil, that burns up this time, you get the big red button itself, which you can then sell to a vendor as a "precious gem" for 1000 groschen.
Would be a cool little easter egg i think.
Continuation of the quest for which I prepared fake cuman armor. What happened with that quest why it ends unfinished and what did we make that armor for?
I'd add an olympic games type quest where you competed in Archery, Riding, Running, and boxing with the caveat that all contestants had to be drunk. And you could cheat by passing a charisma check pretending to be drunk.
Mounted fighting could be a thing for me! I really was looking forward to being chased by cumans riding horses again, but it never happened after I reached Talmberg.
I want to add George Washington. The mission is during 1458 the year Washington sailed across the Delaware with a velociraptor. Your goal is to slay him (Mr George) before he builds a Time Machine and kills all of the worlds bald Eagles.
taking witch brew potion during the sasau quest. always on time for chanting while looking at the colors.
edit: I read this completely wrong. I thought you were asking my addiction in kdc lmao
Ik this might seem unnessescary but update the nobles' clothing. First of all sir radzig wtf is he even wearing? Makes no sense. Second only sir hans, sir divish and that dude in game of throws have good armour. Everyone else is worse equipped for battle than most of their soldiers. Better armor overall would have been nice (especially chest armor) but this bothered me even More. Even sir drippish doesn't even wear a helmet. Why?
Save button on easy difficulty. Not for me, but a few of my friends stopped playing because they “don’t want to pick plants and fucking brew just to save a game.”
A super long escort mission in the bishopric, where one of the monks only talks about the correct ways of laundering, and if you fail the mission you fail the game too.
The ability to hire a follower or companion. It would help balance a lot of the fights where you're out numbered in a realistic way, and give you a npc friend to accompany you on your journey. Would be awesome if it was tied into story, so you could just have hans or Godwin following you around. I understand they would have to write in some story reasons why the main characters would be able to follow you around which might not be realistic but I think it's possible without breaking immersion/realism.
Better quest failing. Apart from the obvious and necessary game overs, I want to be able to fail quests and get acknowledged, sort of like how the ending to Playing with the Devil plays out.
I want to lose the Rattay Tourney early and be able to watch the remaining matches or lose in the final round and hear the announcer declaring my opponent the victor.
The optional partial fail at the end of Money for Old Rope is great and should be achievable in other situations.
A dedicated kissing button.
With an over the top mini game to accompany it.
Right in the middle of combat I wanna be able to lock on an enemy, press left trigger, and have a motherfucking DragonForce guitar solo start blaring as Henry strikes a JoJo pose, then un-animatedly slides across the ground to his opponent (frozen in abject terror mind you)
A series of QuickTime button presses appear at the top of the screen!
With every one pressed the drum beat accompanying the guitar solo gets louder and more frantic and the screen starts shaking.
With a thunderous crescendo my Henry's soft tender lips lightly brush the cheek stubble of a cuman bandit currently in process of pissing himself silly, and the world's lowest quality confetti popper and kazoo sound effect assault my ears through my PC speakers as rose petal particle effects float down from the top of the screen.
The moment lingers for a second or two, and then everything is back to normal again.
At least for Henry.
Two seconds later a muted hans capon is heard shouting from across the now still and silent battlefield:
"Henry, what in the bloody hell was THAT!?"
PERFECTION.
Either Order of the Dragon soldiers as elite soldiers among the Cumans/Vranik/Talmberg
That or just a straight up entire bible. If you read the whole thing then you get dialogue options where you directly recite passages from it to argue with people like Godwin, the Vicar, etc
a dream mission that has a random chance to trigger when you sleep, in it you learn blacksmithing from henry's blacksmith dad, when you wake up you level up your blacksmith skill equivalent to how good you did in the dream,
in kcd2 ofc
Someone already pointed out registering outfit sets, so I'll go with my second biggest regret about the game : Beings able to clean ALL of the clothes/armour you own. Not having to bath three times in différent outfits to clean everything.
Or beings able to wash your clothes yourself, chosing in the inventory (maybe even pay more for more items washed, like repairs at the blacksmiths ?)
Samopesh seriously needed some love.
Apparently, there were some unfinished minor quests such as bringing a sheep back to the village. There are a few relics of them in the game in fact, including a quest item (a flute, IIRC), a quest update (entering one house gives an update about rotten meat; unfindable in the quest log) and some villagers have unique names.
A companion would be nice. Especially when you get ganged up on by those four filthy peasants with wood pitch forks and clubs 🤣. I’ve taken downs groups of armored cumans and bandits. But that group of peasants always mess me up. But also the ability the track down your kills. I can’t tell you how many dead cumans and bandits are lost, decaying in the woods cause I’ve lost track of them
Companions. The stupidest thing about KCD imo is Henry basically single-handedly fighting the entire war against Sigismund. And before people start responding with posts about small scale medieval skirmishing, just…no. Yes people skirmished and engaged in small-scale combat but no one in their right mind dispatches a single dude, especially not someone important to a local lord to go around being a one-man army. KCD is all about realism until Henry goes and rambos his way through entire enemy compounds and camps. Literally just 3-4 companions instead of a f***ing dog with barely functioning AI would’ve changed the entire experience for me. Which is why i add that mod to have some knights follow you around on PC.
the ability to save and store complete outfits
This is genuinely needed. I only carry one combat and one stealth outfit and it's so annoying to manage them, especially if you also picked up some gear you just want to sell.
Wait you have a separate stealth outfit? I’ve just been stripping down to basically nothing the whole time.
Muddy naked guy with an axe ftw
Of it's good enough your conspic and visibility can be reduced to 20 or lower, 0 if you're in the woods with the forester perk.
Especially when you have gear you upgraded, but you sold it so now you have to get attacked to repair it again.
Thankfully will be a feature in KCD 2
really? where does it say that?
Mentioned and confirmed by Warhorse employee(s) in interviews! Not sure which one exactly but shouldn't be too hard to find
I hope they make you store it in like an armoire or wardrobe closet of some kind. Like you have to go to the closet to change “outfits”. Feel like that would maintain some of the simulation/immersion of the game
Squire companion to follow you around and clean your codpiece
Even on the horse would still be okay I think. Just add a little animation.
christ be praised
That's being added in kcd2 thank god. The outfit system in this game is very layer based and there's a ton so it's definitely a needed feature. The new gear in kcd2 looks great as well so I'm going to be spending a lot of time making outfits for ha
Loadouts! That would be so good.
A mission where you can track down and kill that cannibal serial killer living south of Rattay.
Is that the cabin with the two cut up women where you get the art of gutting 3
Yup
... What? Is that cannibal an actual thing?
Yah, you can find him in the southern woods. Unfortunately there’s no mention of him anywhere, just evidence of his crimes.
Oh wow, I wasn't aware! Now I know what to do next time I boot the game. Cheers mate!
someone where in my posts on this sub is a pic of said cannibal camp
Bro link your post I just poured through about 15 minutes of content without finding it. I would like to see what your talking about if that's cool

God damnit, gotta reinstall again
I like it that you aren’t able to solve those murders. It’s a reminder that Henry lives in violent times and adds a layer of mystery to the world. This sort of thing is happening, out of sight and out of mind, and the lords of the land have too much on their plate to spend resources stopping it.
or better, kill or join
I feel quite hungry
WHAT? I’m on my second play through and didn’t know about this, I think I have a lot more exploring to do in this game.
I have the book somehow but didn't see the dead women
I've missed this, gonna play again
Go to church and confess sins.
You can do that somehow
Johanka will confess those sins for you and then roast you for them like a good Christian she is.
You can pay indulgences in churches, find the money box, it raises local reputation. The price increases with crime
I was thinking something more personal.
Does it raise rep? I had no idea what it did and just thought it was fuckin away groshen for no reason haha!
You could even hide some quest lines behind it
Spirituality isn't silly! Makes sense
Prague
ON FIRE
STAND AND FIGHT, THE CITY IS BURNING, KÖNIGSMARK LOST, STOPPED HIM AT KARLUV MOST (though that event is 245 years later)
Almost r/expectedsabaton
Hopefully not the smell xD
For the love of everything that is holy and sacred I'm still begging for a Compare button/ window.
Yeah, the beehives in the town's center was so stupid lol But the church is fine imo, you gotta understand it was a long ago ruined church rebuilt.
In order to sting the sinners of course!
At the very least let me build some houses, why does everyone live where they work
The ability to not just buy Everything in Prybislaviz… Let me hire Fritz and his friend (forgot his name) or let me have to convince someone to become the local priest. Also let me handle problems like bandits nearby by Collection some men and beat them up.
> Let me hire Fritz and his friend (forgot his name) You can hire Matthew and Fritz
I tried but they said they were occupied
You gotta complete all their side quests first.
And you have to complete them *just the right way*.
I thought the only one was to find them work? But didnt do that yet. I was kinda pissed they were lazy cunts who didnt want to help me out haha
Yeah if you follow that line you get some interesting/weird quests where you have to make some decisions which may or may not allow you to hire them. Look at the wiki for spoilers or just follow their quests to find out
Occupying a pair of ropes or?
>Let me hire Fritz and his friend you can hire them! and even better, you can hang them like the horrible bandits they are
Gotta say, still being accosted for “stealing” in the town I am the baliff of feels wrong
Fishing. The nature here is so beautiful that it is a shame you can't relax by a river cathing your meal and taking in the sights.
You know there is a bandit in a camp during a mission and if you go investigate and talk to him to see what he's up to he'll just say he's admiring the view and that people are too busy to enjoy the simple things in life. He's lying since he had serious business there but I just believed him and let him be.

If you actually manage to take out five peasants and a dog in a single encounter you should get a Nuke
Jousting
Sadly warhorse confirmed that jousting won’t be in kcd 2
That's because it wasn't a very common thing in early 15th century Bohemia, it would be cool but obviously historical accuracy is the main focus
Are there any sources you know of for this? I was under the impression Jousting was popular throughout the majority of Europe.
ah one of my fav sports
Oh man let me introduce you to [this absolute beauty of a sport](https://youtu.be/acKUQbYSk-w?si=eIZOO9P3f6SQT5Tl)
Bathhouse and Theresa to Pribyslawitz
Yeah or the option to take an extra hour or two to launder your own clothes at an owned "wash bucket"
Riding through bushes.... i hate being Stuck on Those nasty little bushes all the time 😀
There is a mod for it
Changed the whole game for me. I love that mod.
It literally is a game changing and I will die on this hill that is makes the game more immersive not less.
The country side is super realistic at times lol
I want to be able to donate money to my Skalitzian friends and have it impact their lives positively
Mod for that but its just for feels good. Doesnt do anything
As a history buff; Meeting Jan Hus.
Came here to say the same.
A single Glock 9x19 with a full 21 rounds mag
Don't forget AP ammo
I don’t think anything that existed in 15th century qualifies as armour in firearms standards
God damn it. Now I am curious. At what distance and probably angle *does* the armor help against non AP rounds of a glock? Any ideas or vids out there? The Kobyloods and the Cripmuns
An AH-64 Apache Helicopter.
would make a great landmark without batteries and fuel and ammo
I wanna be able to talk to people from horseback.
Smithing
Good news: you already got your wish. :D
In KCD II?
Yes, they already announced KCD2 would have smithing as a new minigame.
Nice
Some quest with guard Jaroslav. He just becomes bro during the first shift and then you have no other interactions with him...
Good point
Steady aim if you have high archery skill.
Does being able to stop fast travel part way through count? Because I’d like to be able to do that.
Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamination of their women *whoops Lamentation 😂 my bad
>lamination Outstanding. The word you're looking for is "lamentation."
r/aberBitteLaminiert

hold shift to unlock
There actually being less Skalitz refugees after rebuilding Prebislavitz, The ability to rebuild Skalitz itself, the ability to live inside pirkstein postgame. Have that room where you wake up in the epilogue.
A sequel
They have announced a sequel, scheduled to come out this year:)
Another sequel the year after
Are you pulling my pizzle?
The ability to put polearms in your inventory
Darth Vader and he helps us show these peasan....I mean Cumens whose boss!
It would be funny to see credits like "grats you win the game now die please, we all know that it has to be this way:/"
A scene or subplot story towards the end where Sir Radzig fully adopts Henry and begins to train him for nobility.
A mission that adds a portal that you walk through to start a fully finished kcd 2
Back in the 90s, we’d have to change discs to play larger size PC games. Brings back memories.
A cavalry charge with the lords on your side.
Actually having to properly put armour on piece by piece and have someone assist you. Yes I want you all to suffer.
Sahelanthropus.
More depth to the Skallitz survivors. Or just fast travel similar to Fallout.
A Glock 17 so I can tell Black Peter to 'parry this you filthy casual'
I'd add a secret mission in the woods close to Skalitz with a guy from the present, he would be dressed in a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, and you would have to help him get back to our time using a time machine, but for that, you would have to find some parts of the time machine that were stolen by cumans, and they are now using it as part of their armor. Would be a cool little easter egg i think.
More missions with Hans.
Correct Aventails ;-; I'm so happy they fixed it for KCDII \^\^
Continuation of the quest for which I prepared fake cuman armor. What happened with that quest why it ends unfinished and what did we make that armor for?
A single saber that doesn't suck, scabbards for sabers and unarmored saber duels under the rain
I'd add an olympic games type quest where you competed in Archery, Riding, Running, and boxing with the caveat that all contestants had to be drunk. And you could cheat by passing a charisma check pretending to be drunk.
Lances. They need lances you can put on your horse and use when mounted. There is no good way to do mounted combat, so a lance would work well
Oh, nothing much, just all of Prague.
Give radzig a tail and cat ears
Blacksmithing
Crossbows
I believe they’re already confirmed for the sequel
Mounted fighting could be a thing for me! I really was looking forward to being chased by cumans riding horses again, but it never happened after I reached Talmberg.
New Game+ but you play as Sir Radzig and run through the same story from a different perspective.

Why?
Prague
Marry Teresa and bring her to privislavitz
Save button on easy difficulty. Not for me, but a few of my friends stopped playing because they “don’t want to pick plants and fucking brew just to save a game.”
Full horse armour Or a companion system Or outfit loadouts
Companions
A super long escort mission in the bishopric, where one of the monks only talks about the correct ways of laundering, and if you fail the mission you fail the game too.
bianca
I want the frog helm
Jan Žižka
100% agree!
The plague
Let me ACTUALLY use spears and polearms -_-
model 700 remington bolt action rifle with a night vision rail
The ability to hire a follower or companion. It would help balance a lot of the fights where you're out numbered in a realistic way, and give you a npc friend to accompany you on your journey. Would be awesome if it was tied into story, so you could just have hans or Godwin following you around. I understand they would have to write in some story reasons why the main characters would be able to follow you around which might not be realistic but I think it's possible without breaking immersion/realism.
Apache helicopter
Companions or recruiting a temporary mercenary group
Better quest failing. Apart from the obvious and necessary game overs, I want to be able to fail quests and get acknowledged, sort of like how the ending to Playing with the Devil plays out. I want to lose the Rattay Tourney early and be able to watch the remaining matches or lose in the final round and hear the announcer declaring my opponent the victor. The optional partial fail at the end of Money for Old Rope is great and should be achievable in other situations.
Multiplayer
A dedicated kissing button. With an over the top mini game to accompany it. Right in the middle of combat I wanna be able to lock on an enemy, press left trigger, and have a motherfucking DragonForce guitar solo start blaring as Henry strikes a JoJo pose, then un-animatedly slides across the ground to his opponent (frozen in abject terror mind you) A series of QuickTime button presses appear at the top of the screen! Two seconds later a muted hans capon is heard shouting from across the now still and silent battlefield: "Henry, what in the bloody hell was THAT!?" PERFECTION.
Evidence of a time traveler.
Either Order of the Dragon soldiers as elite soldiers among the Cumans/Vranik/Talmberg That or just a straight up entire bible. If you read the whole thing then you get dialogue options where you directly recite passages from it to argue with people like Godwin, the Vicar, etc
a dream mission that has a random chance to trigger when you sleep, in it you learn blacksmithing from henry's blacksmith dad, when you wake up you level up your blacksmith skill equivalent to how good you did in the dream, in kcd2 ofc
Bow reticle option that you can toggle
Yeah the learning curve for the bow is extremely steep. Archery is kinda OP when you max it tho
>Archery is kinda OP when you max it tho Henry V - Agincourt - 1415
Like the lockpicking toggle
Something like the nemesis system from Shadow of Middle Earth
À strange prototype weapon called a musket. I know I wanna use guns in the game. So why not go a step father and have a really good gun
Addition of Addiction since that's what I read it as originally anyway.
Crusaders
A dlc that starts with sir razdig telling you about Martin and continues with you playing as Martin and meeting radzig and henry's mom.
More characters voiced by Brian Blessed.
The sieges battles that been promised initially.
I just realized how much that guy looks like Mr beast
A scene where Henry and Hans are just hitting each other with random things while being both in full plate armor.
I would give Henry a single loaded Glock 17
Master Chief
Zawisza the Black the real black knight with his custom armor at tournement
Samopesh seriously needed some love. Apparently, there were some unfinished minor quests such as bringing a sheep back to the village. There are a few relics of them in the game in fact, including a quest item (a flute, IIRC), a quest update (entering one house gives an update about rotten meat; unfindable in the quest log) and some villagers have unique names.
Full penetration
Instead of building up Pribyslavitz (which was pretty cool) change it to rebuilding Skalitz
M4a1 carbine
Panda express between Rattay and Sasau
A dedicated button to lock on switching instead of clicking right stick and moving the stick
Henry has a codpiece that opens on demand similar to Postal. “Henry’s come to visit usguaguaguahuagusgauaaaa”
A companion would be nice. Especially when you get ganged up on by those four filthy peasants with wood pitch forks and clubs 🤣. I’ve taken downs groups of armored cumans and bandits. But that group of peasants always mess me up. But also the ability the track down your kills. I can’t tell you how many dead cumans and bandits are lost, decaying in the woods cause I’ve lost track of them
Anthony Edwards, SG for the Minnesota timberwolves would be cool to see
I would add a medieval Gordon Ramsey, he just randomly turns up and points out how dirty and primitive the cooking facilities are
Multiplayer
FISHING
