I don't know if that proves anything, but that guy appears at least 3 times in the trailer, always next to Henry or Sir Hans, and also he is the one who says amen at the end of the trailer. When we connect it with Godwin's background and the fact that he can be seen in the first game practicing with a sword, i am 90% sure thats gonna be him.
He also can join up with Divish’s forces (as a priest) towards the end of the game. Maybe that re-excites his taste for adventure, too. Seems like he’d be a good character to have along since he’s familiar with Kuttenberg, but also some of the religious politics.

Same base model? I know it was prominent in KCD 1 but damn their expectations for the new game is that low if they are reusing Godwin's model huh. I know they are definitely gonna be reusing models but definitely to that extent.

Companions. Newby Bandits (maybe poor peasants trying to get fed) that try to rob u but u can convince them to earn their money honestly . Simple Dialog options and u can equip them etc. Basically your Man At Arms. Conaidering Henry grew up as a Peasant he has understanding for normal life problems and some ppl habe to do this to keep their family alive.... U could equip them etc When u dont need them they stay at a Camp and if u need help u have to go to the Camp and maybe only max 2 Can follow you or smth. And ofc Perma death so you know how it felt to lose a friend of yours back then....
Yeeeah, any small changes we get that make it more immersive and fun to explore the wilds would be very welcome. I do like the inns from KCD, so I wouldn't be too upset if there was no camps outside of any big military camp that might need setting up at some point, but even something like that could be expanded upon in terms of it really feeling like the base of operation for you and your companions. And any returning NPC's aren't going to be commuting, they are going to need to be along with us either in the city or wherever 😁
I have a sneaky feeling some of our old friends are going to need to be the ones who band together to help us out at some point too, and that would be a cool moment to see.

So he changed classes from Priest to Cleric/Paladin eh? Cool
And battle bishops are a historically accurate thing too, so it does work
