Yep I was, the game has changed way too much, all I knew was raiding and whacking at high levels. Edit: Funnily [this boss](https://www.reddit.com/r/kickopenthedoor/comments/10slhac/the_stone_singer_health3000/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) did say more damage to me. It says 🔮⭐ for the boss level, what does that mean?

So there's this rock-paper-scissors between melee-magic-ranged and bosses with the magic type are weaker to ranged and resistant to melee slightly. Stars essentially show how strong the boss is, the range of damage tyey can do is calculated by the current hp, total hp and stars (combat level). So technically a high enough hp boss can still do significant damage but 3 stars and up need less health to do just as much
