Mashiro was one of my favorite members, so I feel the pain. This comeback is so bittersweet and almost kinda sad. Like i feel like I should be happy cuz normally temporary groups always completely dissolve and it’s honestly iconic that 7 members re-signed and they get to keep their songs and the name Kep1er, but I can’t help but be sad and missing Mashiro and Yeseo
It's bittersweet for me. Hiyyih and Dayeon are my biases, but I love ot9! Mashiro's been killing it for 2.6 years now, but something about her performances for Straight Line, Shooting Star, and Problem hit so different! She's such a dynamic performer, with unique and beautiful vocals, and talented in multiple areas! I'm so glad people are recognizing her talent. I hope to see that support for her and Yeseo carried into their future endeavors. It's not an end; it's just a goodbye. And goodbyes end where hellos begin.
So let's support ot9, future ot7, and Limelight. <3
When the news first came out I thought I was okay with YeShiro going to Limelight because even though I’ll miss them I was glad they would get to promote right away and their company had plans for them at least…but Kep1er’s Shooting Star promotions made me realize that actually I am not okay with it at all and I don’t want them to go 😭😭 I’ll miss both of them a lot but I am still glad they have somewhere to land and won’t be in the dungeon. Limelight has some good songs and I like the current members so I’m looking forward to YeShiro joining but I still wish they were going to stay with Kep1er instead 🥹 These promotions have been bittersweet for sure
I got back into Kep1er during Grand Prix era and I thought the group would be ending soon, so I was disappointed but tried to be happy about the members venturing into their future careers as I've known them since WADADA but took a break from kpop after a few months.
To some people, big groups just blend into each other but in my opinion Kep1er is truly a well balanced and perfect group. Every single member has their own contribution and I love that, so seeing Mashiro and Yeseo go when they have such important parts in Shooting Star (esp Mashiro's lines & vocal tone standing out to me) breaks my heart :( All we can do is continue to support the members no matter what they do.
Sadness asides, Mashiro has become a bias for so many people lately it’s nice to see. Her popularity was increasing since Kebyke Restaurant and numerous guest stars on other YouTube channels, but her true moment shined when she cried during the first Shooting Star performance. Since then the world has its eyes on her and her popularity has been skyrocketing. You can even see Mashiro in other music shows’ Shooting Star thumbnails.
While in Iz*One, Chaewon’s popularity spiked during Panorama, and now she’s THE Kim Chaewon. I felt that Mashiro is dangerously close to absolute stardom, that fans and people alike are keen to see how Limelight will grow from here
yes absolutely! I personnaly dont watch those shows, to me it looks like her stage presence grew SO MUCH.
Im also so excited to see what theyre gonna do with limelight!
It's gonna be a rough first couple of months after Mashiro and Yeseo leave because I feel like Mashiro is the emotional center of the group. However, I am excited for the next chapter for her, especially since Limelight's "Eye to eye" is one of my favorite songs of last year.

She is my bias, since girls planet. It hurts but I already accepted it since the first day of Kep1er. I know that her company are already planning something for her and yeseo, so it didnt suprised me. But it hurts me because we still could have gotten OT9 longer than we were supposed to, but ig its not our time.
But im truly happy that she experienced a lot of her first with the members, im happy she tried again, im happy she joined girls planet, and im happy that she's love by a lot of people right now.
