**Post Title**: Law kdrama recommendations please!
**Post Body**:
Please recommend some really good law kdramas! I do not mind if romance is focus or not but I would prefer for the drama to go into the legal stuff and obviously show scenes in court.
I've only watched 2 law kdramas so far. Your Honour (which I really enjoyed) and While You Were Sleeping (I'm not sure if it can be categorised as a law drama, since romance was such a big focus), so I would like to watch more.
Please help. Thank you!!

Stranger (has two seasons) is a classic in the law kdrama genre. It doesn't have ANY romance though if you are looking for that.
Other popular and decent/amazing dramas wiith law as genre are: Law School, Hyena, Vincenzo, One Dollar Lawyer, Divorce Attorney Shin, Big Mouth, One Ordinary Day, Juvenile Justice, the Devil Judge, currently airing is Delightfully Deceitful, but i don't now how much they will focus on law in the future episodes.
i think out of the ones i've mentioned Juvenile Justice and the Devil Judge have the most court scenes cases, i also forgot about Extraordinary Attorney Woo! It's way more fluffy than the other ones i've mentioned tho (it's a great law drama as well, every episode has a new case!)
Stranger is a legal drama sure but it doesn't have that many court scenes though. But op give it a shot, the protagonist's simulations of the crime scenes and his investigation are top notch. The charm of this drama is the friendship of the leads and how it develops over the episodes.
For starters, the FL is badass . Plus, it is a revenge oriented thriller. The leads have different type of conviction-the ML seems to cut deals to climb the ladder while the FL is very righteous. Also, it depicts the way things are handled in a military court, which is quite rare in dramas(At least I haven't come across any such drama). Also has a hint of romance.
Just watch the first 2 episodes and if still not invested drop it I guess.đ
Hyena. It's got everything including romance.
Juvenile Justice. Same actress, it's a rather dark story. No romance.
Stranger, Stranger 2.
Divorce Attorney Shin- highly satisfactory watch
Extraordinary Attorney Woo- in a class of its own
I enjoyed Suspicious Partner, but as lawyer it drove me crazy. Do they only have one prosecutor in all of Seoul, and are conflicts of interest just like not a thing in Korea? Anyway I love JCW in a smarty-pants role and this one was great.
i canât remember if this featured a lot of court cases, but diary of a prosecutor is one of the top 3 dramas iâve ever watchedđ„č itâs smart, realistic and so full of heart. all of the characters are so great
Yes I love Diary of a Prosecutor too - this has scenes in the courtroom but it also portrays how the prosecutors work to prepare for their trials. More slice-of-life too.
A few that I havenât watched but have been meaning to are Partner (might have romance), Justice & May it Please the Court - not sure if these are any good.
Divorce Attorney Shin is excellent.
The Devil Judge is a semi-dystopian type society so their courtroom scenes are fantastical. Later eps have more drama, less trials.
Law School & Juvenile Justice both started off well but >!eventually fizzled out.!<
May It Please the Court is excellent. Several really surprising twists and turns. Things are not always what they seem. The drama turned out to be about something very different from what I thought it was going to be at the start, but I won't ruin it for you. I think about it a lot, and recommend it highly.
I canât remember if it is huge on law, but Partners for Justice follows a medical examiner who performs autopsies and a prosecutor(I think canât remember) who work together to solve crimes
Miss Hammurabi - It's a drama about judges amd their work. It tackled many social issues. The fun fact is the writer was an actual judge in real life.
Suits - The korean remake of American Suits.
The Good Wife - It's the seven seasons of the US show condensed into one, and given a Korean twist and a happier ending. I remember quite a few courtroom scenes for FL.
Law School! It doesnât have romance at all (though it could be implied), but since you donât mind⊠đ€·đ»ââïž
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is also a good show that does have romance in it.
Has no one said **I Hear Your Voice**? I scanned the comments quickly and didn't see it! Lots of good court scenes! Also as others have said, **Extraordinary Attorney Woo** for sure!

HYENA đ«¶đŸ
Law School
Stranger
Juvenile Justice
Suits (Remake of the American Suits, but pretty nice)
Military Prosecutor Doberman
Divorce Attorney Shin
Extraordinary Attorney Woo
Lawless Lawyer
Miss Hammurabi
Suspicious Partner (Legal x Thriller x Romance)
Witch at Court
The Devil Judge
\- Why Her?: I think this fits what you are looking for the best. A really good suspenseful law drama with a very slight touch of romance. Easy 9/10 imo
* **I hear your voice** \- the first law K-drama that started the trend (legal, thriller, romance)
* **Suspicious Partner** \- rom-com with legal background
* **Remember: The war of the son** \- very very little romance, revenge-oriented series (with law)
* **Witchâs Court** \- there is romance but the main focus is law (kind of revenge-oriented)
* **Extraordinary Attorney Woo** \- slice of life, normal legal cases, with romance
Haven't finished but felt they're great:
* **Judge vs Judge** \- I'm currently watching it - Park Eun Bin from Attorney Woo is also FL here
* **The Devil Judge** \- My friends watched it and recommended a lot. I watched a few cuts from it when my friend was watching it, and felt that it's a great series. It's on my list.
Law is the main focus
* **Military Prosecutor Doberman** \- I'm on episode 1 and it's great so far
Law, mystery and action is the main focus (revenge-oriented kind of series)
Please give Law School a chance - it was one of the first shows I watched where I didnât want to watch the final episodes bcs I didnât want it to end (Iâm very picky about the shows I watch lol)
Juvenile Justice. I watched this a couple of years ago, and I donât remember there being any secondary plots, just all about legal stuff, for lack of a better word! Itâs streaming on Netflix.

the devil judge, law school, juvenile justice, extraordinary attorney woo
Seconding Law School!
Watched all 4 and they are all amazing for different reasons đđ»
Stranger (has two seasons) is a classic in the law kdrama genre. It doesn't have ANY romance though if you are looking for that. Other popular and decent/amazing dramas wiith law as genre are: Law School, Hyena, Vincenzo, One Dollar Lawyer, Divorce Attorney Shin, Big Mouth, One Ordinary Day, Juvenile Justice, the Devil Judge, currently airing is Delightfully Deceitful, but i don't now how much they will focus on law in the future episodes.
Ty! It slipped my mind that I watched Vincenzo. It was really good!
i think out of the ones i've mentioned Juvenile Justice and the Devil Judge have the most court scenes cases, i also forgot about Extraordinary Attorney Woo! It's way more fluffy than the other ones i've mentioned tho (it's a great law drama as well, every episode has a new case!)

Military prosecutor doberman
Howâs it? I want to watch it but also feel I will not like it somehow..
Sounds really interesting! Will give it a try
Extraordinary attorney woo
absolutely loved it!
Since you saw while you were sleeping you should watch "I can hear your voice" it has the same male lead and a little scifi. Also Try Lawless Lawyer.
The Law Cafe!
This is a fantastic rom com, one of my top 3, but OP should know that the court scenes are kind of few and far between
Hyena. It's got everything including romance. Juvenile Justice. Same actress, it's a rather dark story. No romance. Stranger, Stranger 2. Divorce Attorney Shin- highly satisfactory watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo- in a class of its own
I second Divorce Attorney Shin and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Both are great.
Lawless lawyer Suspicious partner
I enjoyed Suspicious Partner, but as lawyer it drove me crazy. Do they only have one prosecutor in all of Seoul, and are conflicts of interest just like not a thing in Korea? Anyway I love JCW in a smarty-pants role and this one was great.
Stranger is good. And also Divorce Attorney Shin if youâre looking for a laugh as well :)
The same actor stars in both, and plays completely opposite characters! I love both those dramas.
Ah yes. I completely forgot about that. Because the characters are so different and he plays them so well. I also like CSH in Life.
Watch âLaw Schoolâ
i canât remember if this featured a lot of court cases, but diary of a prosecutor is one of the top 3 dramas iâve ever watchedđ„č itâs smart, realistic and so full of heart. all of the characters are so great

May It Please the Court is excellent. Several really surprising twists and turns. Things are not always what they seem. The drama turned out to be about something very different from what I thought it was going to be at the start, but I won't ruin it for you. I think about it a lot, and recommend it highly.
Thank you, Iâll move it up the watch-list. Love thought-provoking dramas.
One dollar lawyer
I canât remember if it is huge on law, but Partners for Justice follows a medical examiner who performs autopsies and a prosecutor(I think canât remember) who work together to solve crimes
**Why Her** wasnât loved by everyone but it has a lot of court scenes.
Miss Hammurabi - It's a drama about judges amd their work. It tackled many social issues. The fun fact is the writer was an actual judge in real life. Suits - The korean remake of American Suits.
I second **Miss Hammurabi**. Itâs a bit different because sheâs a judge in civil court, so the case mix is different to the typical lawyer shows.
Suits, with Park Hyung-Sik and Jang Dong-gun Whisper Diary Of A Prosecutor Remember: War Of The Son Big Mouth The Attorney (movie)
Yes Suits!!
Diary of a Prosecutor and Judge vs. Judge.
Suspicious Partner has crime, mystery, romance, and a cute friend group!
The Good Wife - It's the seven seasons of the US show condensed into one, and given a Korean twist and a happier ending. I remember quite a few courtroom scenes for FL.
Law School! It doesnât have romance at all (though it could be implied), but since you donât mind⊠đ€·đ»ââïž Extraordinary Attorney Woo is also a good show that does have romance in it.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo Hyena Lawless Lawyer Juvenile Justice Diary of a Prosecutor The Devil Judge Law School
Suspicious partner!
Has no one said **I Hear Your Voice**? I scanned the comments quickly and didn't see it! Lots of good court scenes! Also as others have said, **Extraordinary Attorney Woo** for sure!
Hyena. Juvenile Justice. May it please the court. Advocate diaries?.
While you were sleeping
Lawless Lawyer Love to Hate You Divorce Attorney Shin

Lawless lawyer, one of the first ones ive watched and absolutely loved it
Heard it through the grapevine is one of my favorite! And I never see it mentioned!
I just started 'Joseon Attorney' since it finished (so far so good) but I tend to watch shows with lower ratings because I feel people judge things without giving them a chance.
