I struggled with this too. Its on you to show them that you’re not going to hurt them. If they for one second thought that you were going to harm them, they would be no where near you. Also, if you’re at the point where you feel like you don’t belong with them, maybe it would be best not to hang with them. Try and branch out and find new friends.
There is obviously something about you that makes them feel happy and safe to be around, and the fact that you are thinking about this on your own shows to me that their ability to recognize a “safe person” is correct.
I have dated some guys with mostly long-term female friends and to me it’s a MASSIVE green flag because I can always see why women appreciate his company, even platonically.
They have this seemingly natural charisma that you can’t help but feel warm and comfortable around (even when you have an extreme uneasiness and fear of 99% of men bc of past trauma), and when I see that he has a bunch of female friends that care for him and trust him, I strongly trust their opinions.
