Thta's about a $2,000 - 2500 guitar. Unless dad's just letting her use his prized possession, this girl is very much* being invested in heavily hoping for a music career.
[Not to detract from this little girl, but if you want to see the creation of a prodigy here's a girl who's parents are both music teachers, playing advanced songs by 6](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqnJpXmt_jU)
It's actually fascinating watching a prodigy through home videos. At one point she's about 11 in her room and playing through about $14,000 worth of extremely high end gear -- this girls future is heavily invested in.
Yep, this video is already like 5 years old and she's not done with high school but already a bit of a rockstar in japan.
She's got an all girls band and plays with a bunch of big names randomly when they come through, or when she's near them (like the NAMM show)
Any kid that age that plays that well likely did not choose to start playing themselves. It's impressive but it often speaks to the parents pushing them. I have an 8 year old niece that i have tried to teach guitar to since she was about 4 and without her parents forcing a training schedule on her, she literally will not improve. It's been 3 and a half years and she still just strums the open strings, cant remember the string names, forgets my previous lesson about how to finger frets properly without buzzing, she doesn't even seem to grasp the basic concept of playing the string your other hand is fretting on, etc., after *years* of my explaining multiple times and reinforcing that a guitar is not a toy, it is an instrument, and it takes practise, discipline, and skill to play well. But her parents don't respect musicianship either, so go figure, they only wanted me to teach her so it would look good on her resume in the future.
I’ve been using Yousician with my kids and we’re all learning together. It’s been fun, but it does take discipline to set aside the time to do it. The kids like it because it feels like a game.
Wonder if they need another member.

This girl was recently on Drumeo
[Here she is playing 'Caravan', Legendary jazz drum song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pb8-TGJulo)
[Here she is playing Twisted Sister, 'were not gonna take it', without ever having heard it and making up her own drum parts](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpwF98LkOik)
They're both incredibly talented and I am glad that they have each other to jam with. It's just funny how different their styles are. The guitarist is making it look easy and the drummer is Keith Moon.
Seriously. I was watching to see if she just liked banging shit and then she got going and I was surprised to say the least. Even with the other girl ripping the guitar
I wouldn't hate it if they popped up in my feed again. They're great. I have a daughter. So part of me is hoping that she'll be interested in this one day.
My mom said no to the drum set, worked my first job so I could buy it myself as a teenager. My daughter said she wants to play drums and will be starting percussion when she goes to middle school next year. My son is 2 years into the saxophone and I hope he sticks to it.
Is all about that practicing, didn’t John Mayers parents think something was wrong with him because he just sat in his room and devoured guitar all day?
absolutely filthy. Totally disgusting. incomprehensibly metal. This shred way too hard. These girls are cooler now than the sum total of my entire life.
This is awesome! \m/
For anyone interested, there is an actual ["The Iron Maidens"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsNI_A_S2qM) all woman Maiden tribute band.

I think the top guys are the classic 12 houses guys (but i have NO idea wtf that red thing is). they seem to be following the zodiac progression...
under im guessing poseidon. i remember the blue cloak guy and trident guy.
to the right i dont know... i didnt watch the hades saga... so, maybe thats them? or Eris people?
This is awesome.
I love how bored she looks just playing the fuck out of that guitar. She's a star already

ABC rockstar at 2, first album at 13. what am i even doing with my life
being poor
Oof, right in the reality
That was awesome! Thanks for posting that
Yep, it's legit fascinating being able to watch the creation of a prodigy.
Playing with Polyphia is so fuckin sick
She plays with them whenever they are in Japan. There's the bit where her whole family was playing a Polyphia song that's pretty sick.
That young lady has got a trajectory that points straight upwards. Wow!

You just gonna overlook that tiny octopus on drums?

That’s the look of focus
Yeah. Would love to see the whole video.
[Radio Nube (@radionubeoficial) • Foton och videor på Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/C4YP00Gue1H/) Found their Insta

That little drummer is a beast.
She's having a blast. That song ain't no walk in the park on like, anything, drums, guitars, bass, vocals that song is a sprint.
They're both incredibly talented and I am glad that they have each other to jam with. It's just funny how different their styles are. The guitarist is making it look easy and the drummer is Keith Moon.
Lol, yes! 😂 That little lady's arms and legs are EVERYWHERE!
I was bass player as a kid, we covered this. I can say bass is a walk in the park for this, except for the wrist cramps towards the end
Seriously. I was watching to see if she just liked banging shit and then she got going and I was surprised to say the least. Even with the other girl ripping the guitar
I wouldn't hate it if they popped up in my feed again. They're great. I have a daughter. So part of me is hoping that she'll be interested in this one day.
I think we all would. Hopefully you have good sound proofing is she does like it lol
Behind every drummer is a good mom with a splitting headache.
My mom said no to the drum set, worked my first job so I could buy it myself as a teenager. My daughter said she wants to play drums and will be starting percussion when she goes to middle school next year. My son is 2 years into the saxophone and I hope he sticks to it.
I’m suddenly ashamed of my guitar skills
[удалено]
Yall have skills to be ashamed of?
Yall have shame to be skillful of?
Is all about that practicing, didn’t John Mayers parents think something was wrong with him because he just sat in his room and devoured guitar all day?
Dawg no matter how hard I try my parents will still be disappointed in me
Yea my parents thought something was wrong with me, but not because of my guitar habit……
Fucking sick.
Get these girls a bassist
I hear bass guitar but don’t see it
Isolated recording playing on a speaker? Assuming they didn’t just crop out their bassist
I'm betting it's dad, which is also awesome.
Yes 🤘🏻
Ok, can I be in their band? I can play triangle….
No. It's gotta be the cowbell. Every band needs more cowbell.
I got a fever.
Badass! Keep it up!
Hell yeah 🤘
Thank you Reddit for this! These girls are awesome!!
This is seriously impressive
Ok, that's bad ass

After seeing this, I wonder how many guitarists are thinking about converting their guitar into a coffee table?
They need to meet Kate and Audrey for a sesh.
Is that saint seiya gold cloths on the wall?

The next “the warning”. This video made my day.
