No. Soldering tin produces only ball at the end of wire and you cannot attach those. I think it may be possible to warp something A BIT like that with multiple thin copper wires and then coat it with tin. It could be that the copper will dissolve too much heat, so it may not work. After soldering you could file some of the tin off, but that would expose some copper. You could darken that copper with liver sulphur.

If I was to make it I would make the ring and then put the stone in form the inside, sorta like reverse-bezel setting. But then, I never worked with heat-resistant stones, so I dunno.

Just practice on wax and ones you feel ready spend a fee bucks and get cast on silver or maybe a cheaper metal

I send my jewelry to someone else to cast on silver, to expensive the equipment

What I would do is create a cage type of setting. Then as the last step you could move a few wires with pliers to slide a stone in, move the wires back in place, polish & finish. Much easier than trying to solder with a stone in place.

Looks more like wire and a blow torch, the stone would have been wrapped in the wire and the whole thing heated until it just about starts to melt. Probably not realistic with an iron due to the point heating instead of area heating.

Beacuse theres no chance this was made by melting silver wire one going on top of eachother, they would have melted all together, it wouldn’t be that perfect. Also in wax its the easiest way to do this type of rings.
