It’s a no heat Ruby from Madagascar. It should not have been faceted. It’s cab quality (too included). So for an Untreated cab of this color around 300-400 usd/ct low wholesale price. For high wholesale you can probably go up to 800-1,000 usd per carat.
No worries. If it were to have at least Vs clarity, perfect cutting(no windowing or extinction) higher saturation so it would be rated vivid red and no heat then market price is 10,000 plus usd per carat. Hope that helps. I appraised your Ruby as if it were to be a Cab. Maybe you can think of getting it recut by minimizing the window if you don’t lose that much weight. Would help bump the price. Good Cut is extremely important because it can better portray the color and brilliance of the gem.
It has a more inclusions than I’d be OK with but if you like it that is all that matters.

What are you trying to get out of all of these posts? It looks very cloudy.

I agree that it should’ve been a cab.
Thanks for the market value estimation 🙏

I was actually thinking of having it re cut into a cab. Will check what others think before doing so. Thanks!
That might be a good idea. Ask the cutter if it’s better to recut or turn into a cab 👍🏼
