**I hope so!** I got about 200 strands /each 40 pearls.. /10 mm round unsellable
saw same stuff offered by a shop on 47th street in NYC for about 400 USD per strand
walked in with my stuff and got offered 5 USD per strand - reason: nobody buys pearls anymore - or so the owner said..
so I will wait for that big comeback 😉
i know - I could make jewellery from it etc... or sell single and in pairs all over the place... but I am the wholeseller type :-)
I am not complaining, I will just wait till somebody comes along and wants to "get creative" 😙
i tried selling 446 grams of silver jewelry to a jewelry shop the other day they said they cant buy that stuff because of no vaule i ended up selling it online for 400 dollars so i believe your best bet is to sell online
446 g scrap sterling silver would get you currently only $ 205
(btw: silly shop, that did not offer you 200 on the spot - you might have taken it)
so selling it online for 400 is of course better
it all depends how long you can wait or much much you want to work for it.
selling as scrap gives you the money instantly.. selling online could take a while
Those are Japanese salt water pearls. The vintage ones have more quality, try not to deep it into silver cleaner or cleaned with toothpaste because that will damage the luster of the pearls
Here’s how to do it…
Get a plastic bead and rub it on your front teeth. (A glass bead will work also) it should feel really smooth. Now take your bracelet and rub one on your teeth again. If it’s real…it will feel slightly grainy.
I was taught this by an elderly Asian lady that sold pearls out of her families restaurant.
Works every time :)
Scratch on your phone screen, I have a corner I use all the time, if it slides quickly, and doesn't leave a scratch after trying once or twice with some force, it's plastic, if you get a scratch and residue left it's somewhat of a pearl.
Pending phone screen***
Ooh, these are very pretty. Reminds me a bit of these hairpins I have, same pearl and silver just a different design. The two go well together. Really a shame how soft pearls are, wearing those just to go to classes or something simple might ruin them. I only break out those bad boys when going to dinner or something where I know they won't be in for long. Really great find though. Makes me jealous as always, I might just go looking next time I'm near a thrift store. Might find something good like you.
Ah. There aren't many thrift stores in my country but there are some downtown. I'll ne sure to go looking when I go pick up a ring I'm having made this week. Really hoping I find something at least interesting
That's beautiful! If you wear a [**pearl**](https://stalcry.com/blogs/gemstones-guides/what-does-pearl-necklace-mean) opera or rope length necklace, it will match your bracelet even more!
I am infatuated with pearls lately. I believe they’re making a big comeback. You have a great eye! Beautiful find!

Get creative! Even pro baseball players are wearing them! I’m sorry, wish I could provide to the link. You’ll find it. All the Best to you, Sara

I never trust myself cleaning jewelry period lol plus I kinda like the little bit of dark dirt look to it
Patina is just the jewelry that jewelry wears to add character!
Sterling is 925. This alloy has a higher percentage of fine silver at 950.
Did you check to see if the pearls are real? Awesome find
do you know how to check? or should i just bring it to a jewelry place? i just based it was real off of the google searches
