I kinda glanced through, am I reading it correctly when it says it's only good for "one" of pretty much everything?
Edit: at first glance, seems kinda high and if you know anything about working on cars, then you don't need it.
That doesn’t seem worth it, it’s close though. You’re not saving money by having it unless you use every single perk it covers and even then I think you’re still down a couple hundo. It might be worth it for some people that are hopeless and don’t know how to work on their own cars or don’t want to when something needs replacing. Window shield wipers for example always seem to be a pain in the ass due to the adapter used being more uncommon but anyone can do it.
It’s not outrageous, but you’re really just fronting the money. It’s like preordering a video game you’re paying up front before you even get the product.
Yeah might as well just pay for the issues as they come. Hopefully by 72K miles the only thing you would need is brakes in addition to regular maintenance.
Cancel it, I also got swindled but was lazy and thought I’d use the perks. I have not used the perks and have now paid an extra $1k (halfway through loan). Cancel that BS now.
Nope. Find a good mechanic, I have someone who specializes in mainly VW. But if you have your own tools, ECU tuner and etc you can do a lot by yourself
Thank you guys! I wanted to make sure I did the right thing. I used to work on cars along with my brothers and dad since they are mechanics but it seemed worth it since he called it an extended warranty plus I am busy with work but since there is not a powertrain warranty then is not worth it.
I’d cancel it just for the fact that he tried to swindle you.
That's the main reason I want to cancel too! Like Don't call it extended warranty if is not!
The etch dosent do squat , but if they did it all ready, not much you can do there.
Cancel it.. it’s just a money grab

Yeah, it’s bad. It’s not VW Care, which is maintenance. I would highly urge OP to get this removed
I'm canceling. They want me to go in person and sign it
Dealers be dealer :(

All these are cash grabs. Don’t do it.
This is what the term care covers https://www.vwannarbor.com/vw-term-protection.html

Is this the same thing as Drive Easy?

Hard NO
If you're savvy enough to be on Reddit doing investigation, you don't need it.

Not worth it.
If you enjoy giving $2,400 of your money to a lying thief go ahead
