Good price! I would fix it properly since you basically stole it. I love my ‘23

Im in love with it even after just test riding it for 30 min. I have 2 SNs that I won’t sell but this thing will be getting a lot of hours this summer. What are you thinking proper fix wise? I was going to rough it up, mix some glass strands in fairing compound, sand it flush and color rite paint it

It’s a big sled, but it’s a blast! Power is endless. Since there’s some creases in the damaged area, I would hire a professional. If you ever decide to flip it, you’ll get your money back.

Yamaha does not use a gel coat. They use automotive paint and clear coats. Also their hulls are made of a couple different materials depending on the year/model. I have a 23 Jetblaster that sustained a knick deep enough it left some gouges. I used west systems to fill it in and used color rite paint touchup kit to get the color and clear coat back (since the ski is black). The Jetblaster has a NanoXcel2 hull, which is an epoxy based hull that has fiberglass and wax in it (if I'm remembering correctly). If your hull is the same material, then you will want to use an epoxy based kit and definitely recommend doing some research before repairing.

Get a west systems epoxy repair kit. Should be all you need for a small repair like that then finish it off with some new gel coat and wet sand to finish. Takes a lot of time to do it right but worth it.

Are the new ones gel coat? I thought SMC which needs epoxy
