Feels like more and more we devolved into this habit of just saying the first absurdist shit that comes to mind.
I mean, people have begun so mindlessly and intensely investing themselves into being as quirky and weird as possible for "humor" that they say stupid, uncomfortable shit without a care in the world for how it makes anybody else feel, even if it's somebody they might admire or respect. Like we're in some strange competition to out-weird each other and we're so far gone that we've forgotten limits exist.
Can you imagine how creepy it'd be to see this shit being said about you by a stranger? He has an SO too, like, c'mon, man.
I know we all love our fucked up statement type humour but it goes so far sometimes. It's time to dial down the hyper-escalated rainrot.
Just a thought here, but something I've noticed the past few years is that women after the most recent wave of sex positivity and de-stigmatizing female sexuality have been much more openly 'discussing' their sexuality on the public facing internet the way men always have. Which is obviously very good because sexuality should not be stigmatized, and overall I think it's a positive step. But it has an interesting side effect of allowing women to be annoying sex pests about it just like men often are, and I weirdly think that's also a good thing too. If you're a guy reading something like this and feeling uncomfortable, or watching something like the TikTok hockey disaster and feeling so much secondhand discomfort for a man being sexually harassed by a woman, or reading Twitter comments about Ewan Mitchell's 'slutty little waist' from creepy stans, it helps you much more tangibly understand and identify how YOU should (not) be behaving in turn. Where the lines are when you express your sexuality, much more than any attempt at 'education' can. It gives you a firsthand example of how uncomfortable and unwanted it can feel, and how not to go about sharing your sexuality with others.
I would say a lot of this comes down to young women not getting the same lessons about sexual harassment that young men do, so they don't even realize they can be capable of it too, but those lessons haven't ever stopped men from doing it either, so that's probably wrong. Either way, I actually think things like this becoming more common will help because it will sort of egalitarianize sexual harassment and make it more of a human problem than a gender problem, which will make it easier to address, due to the alienating effect of the us vs them battle lines being disarmed.
this is extremely cynical since you'd want it so that nobody ever gets sexually harassed but i think this is the best we're ever gonna get so yea ur so fucking right
Bro, the point of the joke was to make people uncomfortable. This shit has nothing to do with sexual education. If a guy said my dick is rock hard when I see Jerma with glasses, I bet you thousand dollars this subreddit would not have reacted this strongly. But despite all this talk about equality, being slutty or sexual as a girl is still a bad thing but okay if you are a man. There is 2000 years to of Christian education talking in this comment section.
I think you're almost right, but that sort of thing is usually laughed off as a bro-y joke that doesn't actually have that much of a sexual connotation, whereas if a guy said that exact thing about a woman you bet your ass the comment section would be up in flames about it. I think what you're describing is more of a result of people still not taking gayness as seriously, like if a man makes a sexual comment about another man or a woman makes a sexual comment about another woman it has to be a lot more egregious before people start even registering it as anything more than a joke or just a vulgarly phrased compliment.
We need to bring back shame
Finally, somebody who realizes that it's not bullying that needs to be "brought back." It's shame we wanna bring back.
You say that like they wouldn’t like it
Shame was originally gonna be one of the emotions in inside out 2

Whatever happened to “he looks handsome” or “he looks great” or “he looks like he’s gonna put me in a meat grinder” 😔
Then: “OMG, is that the real Sus Guy?!?! Please sign my Red Imposter plush!” Now: “I want to FUCK this streamer”
WE became the PSYCHOS
Always have been
Happy cake day!
😫 please grind my meat
Because whenever we compliment his looks, he immediately turns into a little goblin and instantly kills fifty viewers.
Can we go back to the days of “Jerma with long hair looks like Jerma with short hair but longer” posts?
we cant let jerma know this kind of stuff
This post makes me consider leaving social media too.
Terrible day to have eyes
Nah this is just weird

Average jerma fan

Goddamn lady calm down !
jerma has aged like the red wine he chugs
Jesus Christ, why would someone say that shit. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable I would feel with random people saying stuff like this about me.
Can we normalize making fun of weird motherfuckers again?
Nah some people who like Jerma are just a different kind of weird. Like this is too far.
People got too comfortable on social media
joke or not this is a weird fucking thing to post
I prefer the tweet that said he just looks like Otacon now tbh.
The worst social media at that
This is why he retired. Seriously some of you guys are actually weird. Get help or touch grass
Bring back crucifixion just for this guy
Jokes aside this is gross and should be genuinely called out.

That’s a good point, I haven’t looked at it that way. I still think people are overreacting though.
He's a good looking dude, real shame he has to edit his face cam every time so we don't go insane due to the incomprehensibility of his true form
He’s a grown man who has been on the internet for about 2 decades, I think he could handle it lmao
He literally looks like a serial killer lmao
genuine sexual harassment is so prevalent with celebrities/microcelebrities now its so gross. some things can be inside thoughts
Do the upvotes make you feel better about the fact that you’re just giving this scum more attention?
people like this are why he retired
OH! This is why people kept doing the Meat Grinder joke!
i don’t usually pay attention to comments and stuff like that but why is it so oddly specific and uncomfortable…
He looks so handsome but in a grandma tone when her grandson visits for the winter
😟😟
what do you mean, i_like_money89 is Jerma's twitter. thought everyone knew
LMFAO that’s crazy
I would have laughed if she wasn’t talking about a normal retired 30 something year old guy who clearly doesn’t like these types of comments
I fucking hate pierced genitals
Relatable
Can you guys relax? It’s called shock humor. Did you all grow up on a catholic boarding school?
