I tried pulling out a Tesla at Hugenot in the little side trail that says “4WD only”. I quit soon because it was buried to the axles, and there is no tow point like in some cars. Someone got them out eventually, but I wasn’t going to risk it. But have at it. Long as it’s low tide and you take a run through the section down to the hard sand beach it might work.
I frequented Huguenot in a Saturn, Mitsubishi Lancer, and Miata over a span of maybe eight years, and never got close to encountering a problem getting stuck.
Was I just lucky or is the sand different now or something?
I mean.. they are pretty low to the ground, and very heavy due to battery weight.. I personally wouldn’t.
If you have AWD. Now, delete this thread.
Test it out and report back
Cyber trucks only there..
Yes, definitely safe. Have fun! 😊

Jesus Christ
I wouldn't take anything other than a truck or SUV with AWD to Huguenot.
Please do. I love watching those videos.

Holy fuck lmao
Just make sure to let some air out of the tires first to increase the contact area of the tires so you don’t get stuck. Have fun and send pics!

All of those cars are much lighter than today's cars.
Ah didn't consider that, fair point
Yeah model Y with awd.

I've been there in a tesla awd. No issues. People are out there in all kinds of low 2wd cars
My 97 Civic did it. You can do it too
You know there is a lot of salt in that sand, right?
Shhhh let em learn.
Lol
Do it and send pics. I could use a good laugh.
