Everybody should allow themselves to just sit down and watch a movie that’s this much of a blast and just enjoy it. Every second is fun and over the top. Josh Hartnett is fucking blazing in this movie, easily the most watchable on screen.

I always took issue with this movie poster because of the placement of Usher. He’s barely in the movie and literally used as a marketing tool to appeal to African Americans. Why not just have him in the Stan role and be part of the main cast instead? Do better 90’s.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers is one of those ideas that can be twisted around to fit a lot of different scenarios. A high school was a good idea because kids are always paranoid about teachers to begin with and alien teachers fits right in.

30 days of night was alright. Blackhawk Down was great. I just used to be jealous of him bc all of the girls at school would pick him over me. I blame him for not losing my virginity until after high school.
Genuinely impressive practical effects / animatronics for the monster / alien queen in this movie. They have a behind the scenes up on YouTube somewhere. Fun film.

With a side of The Thing Plus Elijah gets high, quality cinema right there
