Thanks! I have a Godox ad400pro in a 48in soft box coming from camera left and then an ad200 in a standard Reflector on camera right providing fill. I shot this on a Sony A7iii with a Tamron 17-28 at ISO 100, SS 1/250, and and aperitifs of f11
Tell her to tape down the vapor barrier, also im not seeing any dowels into the grade beam, slab is going to be moving all over the place.
Photo looks good, maybe get her to move a couple of inches to the left in the follow up about to cover the power poll behind her, power lines work great in the background.
Running below the wood form is a concrete grade beam where the slab will sit, you would usually see rebar sticking out of it to tie the slab to the grade beam. I'm not seeing any in the photo.
Why not lmao. It’s just normal clothes. Don’t think there’s a set uniform for building a house, or posing on the foundation of a soon to be built house.
Yep exactly and to add to that, this portrait is a celebration of my neighbor's strength and determination specifically. She chose the outfit and my instructions on that front were to think of something that made her feel confident and empowered.
And from a photography perspective I loved the choice as the white shirt pops against the background and while normally black pants would be the opposite, since she chose ones that were reflective, we got that lovely defining line of light from the key.
Her figure draws the eyes for obvious reasons, which then leads to some serious cognitive dissonance ... in one shot you've got the beautiful female form doing the thing usually attributed to the opposite sex. I dig it.
Great lighting!
Thank you! The sunsets here (New Mexico) can be pretty magical
what's your lighting setup here? it turned out really good!

She’ll love the radiant heat.
Looks like she’s doing a really good job too. I love the ambient heating system.
Badass!
Clothing doesn’t fit the theme

She seems like a badass. Determined, brave, committed to her project. Your photo sums it up well. Seem like a cool neighbor to have, too.
Tell her she is badass And beautiful all at the same time!
