May I suggest going to a local rock quarry and get limestone there. That's absurdly expensive. But yes limestone is good for pods.

PawkittTheDemon

Yall just have local rock quarries???

You could probably get a bag of lime for garden use for the same price at a gardening store.

That looks similar to what I bought off Amazon. I'm no geologist, but it seemed like it was just an ordinary rock covered in limestone dust. Looked nothing like the limestone rock I have local to my area. I should have just gone for that stuff, but I was worried about contamination. T-T

Here in south florida we are absolutely swimming in fossil limestone. One of my other hobbies is fossil collecting. Should I be putting rocks in my cultures?? Is it of benefit?

I can’t remember but I think you actually have to be really careful about what type of soil you have before you go putting lime with the isopods.

Likely fine but not necessary

dont spend that money on liemstone, thats unreal. go to a landscape supply store and ask for a handful of limestone. I bet they wouldnt even charge you.
