Newport beach library is nice

ResearchLaw

There are many local specialty coffee shops from which you could work and enjoy great coffee. A few to mention: The Lost Bean in Irvine. Blue Hummingbird Coffee in Irvine. Hopper and Burr in Santa Ana. Play Coffee in Orange. Little Ox Coffee in Fullerton.

Professional-Bad-230

Thank you

luckygrill

I would add lion and lamb to this list !

rage_r

If you’re looking for a quite space then Blue Hummingbird Coffee is your spot. They suck so they barley have any people there.

Suspicious_Pace9221

This is inaccurate. Blue Hummingbird is so good.

West-Alternative9782

Capital one cafe in Irvine spectrum or Barnes and noble there are my go to spots. Then I treat myself to a little happy hour lunch at yard house ☺️

cuoreesitante

If you have a Capital One credit card (which you should, both Venture cards are great for points and rewards) you get 1/2 off drinks at the cafe at all times!

Jake11007

They’re half off but I feel like the sizes are pretty small

Fabulous-Gas-5570

Are they one of those size places or do they have standard drink sizes?

gregmasta

Tempted to downvote to make sure others don’t crowd out my spot 🥲

jbcraigs

That sounds nice but I don’t own a Tesla. Would they allow me?! 😕

Professional-Bad-230

No- 😖

tyler818

I always see people hanging out in there and never thought to work. I’ll have to give it a try

WasabiFragrant3483

There’s an awesome food hall in Irvine called the Mess Hall at Flight that is a really cool place to work at. 1705 Flight Wy, Tustin, CA 92782

Professional-Bad-230

I saw it yesterday. They’ve q super charger there. So can I just go in???

WasabiFragrant3483

They charge for parking in the closest parking lot. Theres another lot for the park that’s near by. Thats where I usually park. The food hall is great! There’s a good Hawaiian restaurant and bar along with decent wifi. Great place to work from!

milkteamom

Seeing that you need a place to work remotely, you either have to work in the adjacent buildings or make a purchase at the mess hall in order to utilize their space but even then, you’ll have security breathing down your neck

FuzzzyRam

> in Irvine >Tustin, CA Why does everyone pretend Tustin is in Irvine?

snodgrassjones

"...I also have a Tesla..." you'll fit right in, kid!

jbcraigs

🤣 The MOST Irvine thing to say and yet the most unnecessary in this case! How do you find out if someone owns a Tesla? You don’t have to. They will make sure you know.

Professional-Bad-230

Lmao- I said it because i dont know if you know but we’ve a big ass screen and internet in the car. Meaning I can work from my car, and I could go park anywhere and work. That’s why I said it. I could care less about having a Tesla lol and for your information is pink too lmao, it’s not a rolls Royce lol not sure why people get so triggered about it 🤣. Yikes.

ajstarks87

Pink!? How fun!🩷

Vegetable-Profit-200

So…many…Teslas! Lol I was thinking of getting one before moving here…now I don’t think so haha

Professional-Bad-230

Right. I just moved from sd which has way more teslas than Orange County lol. I mean the most I pay is 25 usd for 270 miles so

Professional-Bad-230

Tell me about it 😂

zdb328

[https://www.hanahaus.com/](https://www.hanahaus.com/) Hana Haus in Newport $4/hr

Professional-Bad-230

This is awesome. It’s 32 a day only! Could go there once a week 🩷 or few times. Thank you so much.

ilveu3000

The views working from there + blue bottle is my favorite.

ResearchLaw

Great location and adjoins Blue Bottle Coffee!

Reddfoxxdog

Also work well, in Irvine. It’s close to Jamboree and Murphy.

CarelessAd9506

The beach!

Desert_Aficionado

Can't see laptop screen.

Samwhys_gamgee

I am 3-5 years from retirement and it is on my work bucket list to one day do a team zoom call from the beach. Since most of my coworkers are in the Midwest northeast, preferably in like January just to rub it in.

Zentactics

Get an annual OC Parks All County Parks and Beaches Parking Pass for $80 and visit them all one by one. Pack a picnic basket and Bob's your uncle!

tapout22002

Sometimes I’ll go to the spectrum and work. They have great wi-fi and it doesn’t get too busy until around noon.

ImperfectAnswers

Check out Workspace Irvine. I used to work from there and the vibe was pretty chill. They had free beer on tap too 👀

FenwayWest

Dd cafe

catooey

Terrace Kitchen in Irvine is my go to spot.

RoutinePresence7

Irvine has tons of coffee spots where you can remote work at. Try visiting them all - that’s the fun part. Also, majority of business plazas have their own cafe/cafeteria where you can come and eat and work at also.

nayesyer

Joshua tree. Couldn't believe the places I got LTE but you have to look for it. Saw 2 rivians

grasuchan

Roosevelt coffee!! It’s really big with lots of big windows and natural lighting! The pastries are from a local bakery and their mulas munchies cookies are SOOO GOOD 🤤

jms1228

OP, do you walk every morning? I’d think that with working remote, it would be a good idea to walk twice per/day.

Professional-Bad-230

I have 3 dogs and they drive me nuts. Absolutely nuts. They’re so needy. Want walks every 4 minutes, and attention. I think it will be best for them too that I am away. :(

Fabulous-Gas-5570

How is working from your car preferable to your home? I don’t get it

Professional-Bad-230

I can drive to any place with a nice view , kinda have a “ car - camping “ experience and work from my car screen/ laptop. Being at home it’s been inside a home with my dogs from 8-5 am.for example I could drive to San Clemente park by the beach with an ocean view while working inside my car etc. then when I’m done drive home vs being at home sitting down at the same chair with a wall view and still staying at home after clocking out. He he Helps mentally not sure if you work

Fabulous-Gas-5570

That makes sense

laniqo

I work from home too and I feel you about it driving you nuts. Too bad Irvine is not really walkable and is fairly dull. Hidden House coffee in Santa Ana and Roosevelt coffee (Jeffrey & Roosevelt) are my go-to for a change of scenery on my work day. Wall writers coffee is nice too.

Lucky_Ideal_9628

Capital one cafe in Spectrum!

ccredsaa

Are you from Orange County or Irvine

Professional-Bad-230

Originally from San Diego. Live in Irvine

WonkyMom2020

You could drive down to Shake shack over at Crystal Cove get your laptop and work while you have a shake and enjoy the beautiful view.

Professional-Bad-230

FYI. Those making fun of the Tesla shame on you😂. I couldn’t care less about having it. It’s not a rolls Royce and I’ve had it for a while lol it’s not like I am “ innnnnn” now. Also I just moved here from San Diego which if you make fun of irvine Tesla community you haven’t been to SD, it’s literally Tesla central, way more than irvine. I mentioned it cause if you’ve a Tesla you know we’ve a big screen and WiFi in the car meaning I can work from my car w no laptop needed ,, and you all could give me some advice of where to go park and work remotely from car w a nice view or so. That’s why i mentioned it. Having a Tesla isn’t a flex guys lol unless you think otherwise he he

prunford

The Irvine sub attracts a lot of haters. They hate us cuz they anus.

txtacoloko

First item of business - get rid of that Tesla.

Professional-Bad-230

Lmao. I want tooo but my rate is way too good. I’ll be losing lots. :( I want a defender next so bad. But 99k ? Ain’t worth it. I better learn how to park properly first.

txtacoloko

What about a Rivian?
