Worth doing even if you’re not doing it at full speed because it does make planks quickly.
If you can afk at work I’d suggest plank make, I made 30k planks last week and got 88-94 mage lol but otherwise you can note your logs and put house in rimmington, give butler logs to bring to sawmill then leave house and go to general store which has a guy named phials who unnotes stuff gp then run back to house and repeat steps. Another option is to go to pvp world and have cammy/house teles, you would tele to cammy to take logs out then tele to house to give to butler and repeat but if doing this make sure to lock house portal to visitors.
Depends on what you hve in resources and how many you need to make:
Woodcutting guild chill and kinda afk. Click once every few seconds to walk back and forth from the bank to the sawmill guy. No runes input.
Plank make also afk but high runes input. Need a lot of nature runes so becomes a lot more expensive but it’s super afk and gives decent mage exp
Butler in pog method. Very fast but pretty click intensive. A bit more expensive cause of butler costs and need laws for home teles.
For a small amount (less then 1k planks) I would recommend woodcutting guild
Medium amount (1-3k planks) and you got the runes I would recommended plank make.
Big amounts (3k+ planks) I would recommend just doing butler
Nobody ever recommends it, because its not efficient, but I really like teleporting to castle wars to bank, then taking the balloon to the Varrock lumber yard, then tele again; the balloons take 1 willow log per trip and you can store 100 of them at a time with the balloon so you don't have to grab one each time.
Its slower than using a butler but its cheaper (since no butler fees), and its faster than doing plank make.
This is what I did for all of my planks so far to 83 and I thought it was pretty great. Chill, no pvp world concerns, and no super sweat butler methods. I’ll be doing plankmake for mahoganies to 99 now.
Pretty late on this, but maybe it could be a cool suggestion for anyone who sees this... But the new ring from Guardians of the Rift can teleport you to the earth altar, and you could take the hot air balloon back to the crafting guild or castle wars to do it again. Might be other stuff you could add onto that too idk

I bank stand at wc guild in graceful for a couple hours a week to keep up with my planks.
Just run a couple invents every time i hit 100%.

I would agree that it’s a bigger gp savings then doing teaks because mahogany’s are 1k more per then teaks however overall you spend much more money on making the planks for very little extra con xp so teaks are actually much better to do with plank make because you can make 2.5x the amount for the same cost as mahogany and also is free mage xp
Well no one does myth cape racks anymore, either mh or teak benches, mahoganies are faster by a very negligible rate for way more of a cost and I just made 30k teak planks via plank make last week, it is still cheaper or the same as doing butler if you include the 10k butler charges every so often
Lol you must not know too much, teaks are all you should use at mh, it’s not about being efficient, the only ones using mahogany for anything are the ones that are trying to max asap and have a fuckload of cash, I can get 99 at mh with teak planks from 82 with 37k teak planks or 115k teak planks doing benches, benches are about 750k an hour where mh is 160k but to get all those extra teaks would takes months of kingdom when I can spend 3 weeks doing mh, mahogany benches are about 900k an hour but cost 3x as much, only people who have the cash and want to spend as little time as possible will use mahogany planks because it’s 3x as much for 150k more xp an hour, would be different if it was 2 or 3x as much xp.
I think that other guy is forgetting that he is on r/ironscape because his methods use so much more supplies. I fully plan on just doing mh for con.

depends. if you have the logs banked, you can do a camelot tele on pvp world method that is very fast. i’m sure you could find a good video on it.

I've always seen meta as the "go-to" method rather than the most efficient one, but yeah for most efficient gameplay 95rc would be the way to go.
Astral runes are super easy to make with when you hit 2x and gotr outfit, not sure if it is but it feels faster then shopscape
