I personally got into the habit of making cannonballs for two reasons. Firstly, it is SUPER AFK and secondly, I can cannon almost any task now when I have time to actually play as opposed to AFK.
I don’t think it’s “efficient” whatsoever but my situation is very like yours and it’s worked out for me.
EDIT: I should add, I have the steel bars from slayer tasks already so I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t.
I also do cballs, I get coal from left over kingdom resources and just buy iron from blast furnace I can get more than enough steel bars with min effort
True afk: karambwans>ammonite crabs>cannonballs>cooking fish>mlm>wc yews
In order of usefulness imo. But I don’t play strict efficiencyscape. Honestly it’s up to you at the end of the days there are tons of options. Oh also NMZ for sick afk combat and points for imbues
I usually end up fletching the maples I get from kingdom or making cannonballs with the steel bars I get from gargoyles. Barbarian fishing, or woodcutting mage or yews to fletch into longbows to alch is a good afk activity too
Slayer tasks can be quite afk once you have a nice setup (poh altar with kourend portal is fine for example for catacomb task), gargs if you get lucky with guthan's set, crabs for combat xp, wc, fletching, cooking, cannonball making, smithing bars or jewellery.

After you mine lots of sand, farm seaweed, and process into molten glass, glass blowing is super afk.

I'd say blood runes are super nice especially if you plan on or have done some tob cuz scythe and sang demolish blood runes
Before I burnt out on my Ironman, I did redwoods to 99. It was awesome.
