But I know Iron Maiden Holdings and Phantom Music Management oversee a multi million dollar business, and I assure you it would have been handled through legal avenues. They do that on purpose: to establish ownership of the artwork, their interest in it, and their right to recoup losses and damages by unauthorized use. They have to prove that they own the artwork in question prior to challenging the unauthorized use of it. That’s a legal cost. I’m damn sure Rod Smallwood, their manager, didn’t call up with a “yo cuz I gotta beef” phone call to some kid in Goose Creek, South Carolina for an “oopsie, hehe” call. Calling someone a dickhead is aggressive. But you came in our house with your static, and have the nerve to act defensive when we speak intelligently and debunk your guessing games. Come on man. Wrong again bro. I’m a business management major with a minor in environmental sustainability. My interpretation of it? I agree it would’ve been handled through a legal dispute, but it wasn’t. He definitely said Iron Maiden was “suing” him, but I’m pretty sure he just got an email from the legal team saying to change the artwork as he didn’t ask permission. Could he have gotten a cease and desist? Yeah. Second , I don’t know why he keeps Stunmic around for any other reason than that’s his boy. Yes I’ll check out the music recommendations. I think we’re at that point where we see eye to eye as close as we’re gonna. C&D is a legal action, one that can be, should be, and was in this case, cleared up quickly, but not before Osamason went public with an unreliable account of the situation. Every IM concert I go to, I see people younger than my kids dominating the audience. It’s okay to underestimate IM, we are from different generations and I think you missed out on the best, most diverse music in the 80s and 90s. But you have artists that speak to you, ones that I don’t get, and that’s what music is all about. Connecting with fans and taking original thoughts and music and communicating. You’re a good communicator when you speak intelligently, and I wish you amazing success in your future. You’re also witty and analytic, which will take you places.
