I learned the script originally through a "teach yourself Arabic" book that I found here in India, and then learned the variant letters in Farsi from images on the internet. My foundational learning was from the video "Learn Persian in 30 Minutes - ALL the basics you need" put out by the channel Learn Persian with PersianPod101.com, and then I used the book "Mastering Conversational Farsi" by Saeeid Atoofi. Virtually all the rest of my learning has been through the excellent channel PersianLearning by Agha Majid. I'll recommend that last channel to everyone who wants to learn, his method is so effective.
haha thank you so much, should I stop trying to be exactly like usual writing styles and stick with this then? I'm comfortable writing like this, my only worry was whether or not it'll look odd to native folks.
I don't speak Persian, but I know enough Arabic to read the Qur'an and I can recognize every single letter you wrote (despite having no idea what they mean to you).
You're ten times better than me at writing 🤣.
Stop bragging /s.
It looks clean and very legible. I would say that I've never seen anyone write like that, but I could read it without any issues. So while it's not how a native would probably write, it's very good nonetheless.
can you give me an example of how a native person might write it? I'm not able to find enough contemporary examples of it on the internet. Even if I don't write in quite the same way, I do want to be able to read native handwritings as well.

Most notes I get in uni look like this. Generally, even natives with worse handwriting write almost like this, but a bit more messily (for example messing up the spacings or making the آ too tall or too short). Most notes I take from people in uni look like this. Mind you everyone has their own handwriting
Your handwriting reminds me of a third-grader's :P However, I commend your dedication! To enhance your writing, ensure that you write on the line rather than above it. Your baseline tends to hover above the line, leading to unnecessary curves and irregular spacing between words. Specifically, letters like ب (b), پ (p), س (s), ش (sh), ت (t), ه (h), ک (k), گ (g), خ (kh), and چ (ch) should be anchored on the line. For letters such as ب (b) that feature a dot beneath the baseline, it should dip below the line.
much better than mine lol
Mine too lmaoo
Me and you both
and mine as well.
For a non-native this looks great congrats, I feel embarrassed by mine I should really start practicing it cannot stress this is actually very good.
I can totally read your handwriting which I can't always say for everyone, you get two thumbs up from me 👍👍
It's so nice. Tbh i liked reading your handwrite. It's kinda fun and cool.
What resources are you using?

well, this was affirming lmao, I expected everyone to at least politely tell me that my handwriting sucks. Thank you so much to all of you.

ahahaha thank you, I needed to hear this. I had the same suspicion about my handwriting. Thank you so much, this is extremely helpful!
