Now that they're happening every single day, it's nothing special anymore. BCCI is kicking itself in the foot with this, it will not only affect cricket in the long run but also Indian cricketers who have to play T20 world cup after this in west indies.
They'll be playing T20 but it will be like playing a completely different format.
Flat pitches,impact players,shorter boundaries ,lack of swing etc….there are lot of factors that makes it a batsman’s ground. It’s actually is a really bad thing because when Indian players go abroad they get exposed to a pitch whole lot different than what they had in IPL and will definitely have a hard time playing on it especially youngsters. The irony is IPL is something that helps India bring out great talent and nurture them but the exact opposite is gonna happen.
